President Donald Trump and Joe Biden are mere hours away from their first debate, which millions of American voters will be watching from their homes eager to decide on a candidate.
But one Fox News star is making a guarantee — that voters in the Midwest will decide the outcome of the election.
Before making that choice, she had an urgent message for independent, swing voters.

Primetime personality Laura Ingraham is warning Americans to consider the dangerous example of Democratic leadership in cities like Chicago as an example of the future of the country should they get ahold of the White House.
Ingraham is predicting that if current polls hold in favor of “Florida, North Carolina and Arizona,” Trump’s path to re-election will need to go through the midwest to hit the score of 270 on the electoral college — Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ohio.
Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y, have been dismissed these as “flyover states.”
But these states, Ingraham said, will likely wind up choosing America’s future.
“After being the punch line for liberal elites for years and years, the Midwest finally has its moment in 2020,” she said.
“If you’re from Wisconsin and you’re an independent but Trump’s tweets bug you, OK, I get it. But focus on what matters: Your family, their future, your and their safety, and prosperity.”
Ingraham is of course referring to one of the Trump campaign themes of “law and order.”
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler, and Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkin have all let violent protesters run free, Ingraham claimed.

“Chicago-style Democrats, they are not up at night worrying about any of that,” Ingraham concluded.
“After all, why would they? Their supporters think that you are a bunch of racists who are destroying the planet. So more freedom for you means less control for them. They don’t like that at all.”
