Fox News star Laura Ingraham just fired a stunning warning shot across the bow of the Trump White House.
Ingraham, a longtime supporter of President Donald Trump’s administration, sent him an icy warning on Monday about a potential $1 trillion investment from China in the United States.
As Trump heads to China, Ingraham is claiming he’s about to make a major mistake.
“Trump is on the verge of making a massive error – against aides’ advice,” Ingraham wrote.

The report comes on the eve of Trump’s high-stakes trip to Beijing for a face-to-face showdown with President Xi Jinping focused on trade, Taiwan, and the war in the Middle East.
China reportedly made an offer last October that pledged to ramp up investment in the U.S. in exchange for the Trump administration rolling back national security restrictions on Chinese deals and providing tariff breaks for any factories built on American soil.
Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a former Trump supporter turned anti-Trump activist, attacked the White House.
“The war in Iran must be going worse than we know as the Strait remains closed,” MTG wrote on X. “So much so that China may be allowed to build $1 trillion in factories in the U.S. probably in exchange for help with Iran.”
“I’m old enough to remember when MAGA was demanding China not be allowed to own any land in America,” Greene continued. “But MAGA is whatever Trump says it is, according to him, so now it’s for foreign wars and China.”
The concerns aren’t limited to Trump’s outspoken, professional critics.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer are both reportedly skeptical of the deal from inside the administration.
Conservative economist Oren Cass, chief economist at the American Compass think tank, called it potentially the worst unforced error in modern American history.
Cass warned that Trump “may be on the verge of tying the United States to China irrevocably.”
“Even a fraction of that amount would blow apart what remains of our economic defenses, weakening national security and supply-chain resilience, handing the Chinese Communist Party a powerful tool with which to subvert our market, undermining the basic logic of the president’s own trade agenda and kneecapping our efforts at rebuilding domestic industry,” Cass wrote.
As Trump boards a plane to Beijing, supporters are hoping he listens.
