The November election season couldn’t have exactly gone how Fox News planned.
The major news network suffered viewership losses after some election debacles, and a rival network — Newsmax — challenged the cable giant for the throne of conservative news.

Now, Fox News has announced a lineup revamp that will impact primetime.
Five major changes are occurring and they involve some of Fox News’ most prominent five personalities: Bill Hemmer, Dana Perino, Harris Faulkner, John Roberts and Martha MacCallum. According to the network’s official press release the revamped programs will look like this:
Bill Hemmer to Relaunch “America’s Newsroom,” Joined by Newly Appointed Co-Anchor Dana Perino
Harris Faulkner Moves to 11 AM/ET with “The Faulkner Focus”

John Roberts Named Anchor of New Two-Hour Program with Sandra Smith from 1-3 PM/ET
“The Story with Martha MacCallum” Moves to New 3 PM/ET Timeslot
New Interim Opinion Program “FOX News Primetime” Debuts at 7 PM/ET
Notably, Faulkner will no longer host “Outnumbered Overtime” at 1 p.m. and White House Chief Correspondent John Roberts is getting a promotion — leaving his post behind and joining the desk with fellow co-host Sandra Smith for a new 2-hour program from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. entitled “America Reports.”

In addition to some star names being switched around on the lineup, a brand new program called “Fox News Primetime.” A permanent host has yet to be announced, according to Variety.
“As we kick off a new year, we are excited to announce new changes to our schedule,” said Scott in a statement. “We have the best-in-class anchors, interviewers, reporters and talent in all of news media. This new powerful lineup ensures Fox News Media will continue to deliver outstanding coverage for our viewers who depend on the most trusted names in the business.”
The changes will take place Jan. 18.
