Former Vice President Joe Biden already has his hands full with overseas scandals — but another one is about to break. This time, Biden has been accused of using his position in the Obama administration to convince cancer victims to use a drug that would enrich the Biden family.
Joe Biden’s younger brother, Jimmy Biden, allegedly told investors that the former vice president would use a cancer charity to promote a cancer treatment — and make his buddies a fortune.
Jimmy wanted his partners to invest in Integrate Oral Care in Florida, which makes an oral rinse for cancer patients.

Joe Biden launched the Biden Cancer Initiative after his son, Beau, died of brain cancer… and Jimmy thought this would make a perfect cash cow.
Jimmy wanted his younger brother, the Democratic frontrunner for president, to use the charity to push the oral rinse — and send stock prices through the roof.
“He said his brother would be very excited about this product,” said Michael Frey, a medical CEO who was on the phone call last November.
Did Joe Biden agree to use his political clout, and family tragedy, to sell cancer patients a medicine they might not need in order to make his brother rich?
Jimmy Biden’s investment group denied everything. James Biden’s spokesman, David Fuscus, called the allegations “frivolous,” “baseless,” and “pure fantasy.”

Critics point out that Jimmy has a reputation for bad business deals and trading on his family name — something he denies.
“Jim Biden has been clear and consistent that he does not, and has never, discussed his business ventures with his brother,” Fuscus told Politico.
But Jimmy’s fortunes sure seem to rise and fall with Joe’s political career.
Back in the Seventies when his brother sat on the Senate Finance Committee, which oversees banks, James Biden squeezed $460,000 out of banks to sink into a failing Delaware night club, Seasons Change.
That’s an amazing haul, since his net worth didn’t amount to $10,000 at the time.

How did Jimmy manage that? “The answer, according to three former officers of the troubled Farmers Bank, is the Biden name,” The Delaware News Journal reported at the time.
It pays to have friends in high places. And records indicate that, 30 years later, Jimmy Biden was still at it.
Jimmy said his brother was the key to their business when he and Hunter brought out the finance firm Paradigm Global Advisors in 2006.
“Don’t worry about investors,” Jimmy Biden bragged to one of the executives in the room. “We’ve got people all around the world who want to invest in Joe Biden.”
And Joe cashed in too, according to Politico, which reported that Jimmy “viewed the fund as a way to take money from rich foreigners who could not legally give money to his older brother or his campaign account.”

Insiders say that the Biden brothers scratched each other’s backs. One of the group’s presidents said the firm hoped to lean on Joe Biden’s cozy relationship with fat cat labor leaders to get their hands on rank-and-file union dues.
“Because of [Joe’s]relationships with the unions, that they felt as though it would be favorably looked upon to invest in the fund,” said former president Charles Provini.
Jimmy was so brazen about corruption that Joe’s oldest boy, Beau, who was running for Delaware attorney general, had to tell him to tone it down.
“This can never leave this room, and if you ever say it again, I will have nothing to do with this,” Beau reportedly told Uncle Jimmy.
A few years later, in 2010, James took over as vice president of the failing Hillstone International LLC, which had been leaking money… when Joe Biden’s connections came to the rescue.

Inside of six months, Hillstone landed a cool $1.5 billion contract building homes in Iraq. Joe Biden was overseeing the Iraq rebuilding effort at the time.
The founder admitted that Biden’s “name helps him get in the door… If he had the name Obama he would get in the door easier.”
Jimmy’s decades of shady deals and influence-peddling are coming to light and scaring the vice president’s allies.
“Joe Biden needs to recognize it’s a problem,” said Richard Painter, a former George W. Bush Republican who has since become a Democrat.
Right now the world is focused on Biden’s ties to Ukraine. His son’s connection with the nephew of mob boss “Whitey” Bulger in China should drop soon, too.
But Jimmy’s cancer patient shakedown could be the final nail in the Biden campaign coffin.
When it comes to corruption, it looks like Joe Biden makes it a family affair.
