Far-Left protesters storm PGA’s Travelers Championship’s 18th hole

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler clinched his sixth victory of the year at the Travelers Championship on Sunday, defeating Tom Kim in a dramatic playoff that was disrupted by far-Left climate protesters.

The win solidifies Scheffler’s remarkable 2023 season, matching Tiger Woods’ 2009 record for most PGA Tour victories before July.

The final moments of the tournament were marred by liberal protesters who stormed the 18th green and sprayed powder, causing a five-minute delay as police intervened.

Take a look —

Everyone hates Extinction Rebellion, on multiple continents.

It there's one thing the civilized world can agree on, it's that climate freaks are the least intelligent members of society.

Despite the disruption, Scheffler maintained his composure, narrowly missing a 26-foot putt from the fringe before tapping in for par. Kim responded with a clutch 10-foot birdie putt, forcing a playoff as both players finished at 22-under 258.

For the playoff, officials relocated the hole on the 18th green to avoid the areas affected by the protest. Scheffler’s approach shot landed 11 feet from the pin, while Kim found trouble in a front bunker. Kim’s bogey opened the door for Scheffler, who secured the win with a two-putt par.

This victory adds to Scheffler’s impressive run in 2023, which includes wins at the Masters and The Players Championship.

It marks his fourth triumph in the PGA Tour’s new $20 million signature events, earning him a $3.6 million payday.

Scheffler’s six wins this season not only equal Woods’ 2009 feat but also represent the most victories by a player before July since Arnold Palmer’s stellar 1962 campaign. As the golf world looks ahead, all eyes will be on Scheffler to see if he can continue his extraordinary season.
