President-elect Donald Trump’s choice for Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, is being cheered by supporters who embrace the idea that Tillerson — a political outsider — is a business-savvy forward thinker that knows how to get the job done internationally.
It’s a step closer to Trump’s promise to “drain the swamp” — and not everyone is pleased.
Inside backroom meetings of establishment Republicans, the cheers are absent. Rumors say big name GOP politicians expected one of their own — a career D.C. insider — to be given the nod, and they’re not happy with Trump’s administration’s use of political outsiders.
In fact, they’re so upset, at least a few are quietly plotting to block Senate confirmation of Trump’s nominees as revenge.
Trump announced Tuesday he has picked ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson for being “among the most accomplished business leaders and international deal makers in the world.”
The thing I like best about Rex Tillerson is that he has vast experience at dealing successfully with all types of foreign governments.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 13, 2016
It has left Republican insiders grumbling.
Arizona Sen. John McCain went on CBS’ “Face the Nation” and openly expressed his concerns that the oil mogul has friendships with foreign leaders, and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio attacked his previous business dealings in Russia.
Being a "friend of Vladimir" is not an attribute I am hoping for from a #SecretaryOfState – MR
— Marco Rubio (@marcorubio) December 11, 2016
Tillerson “knows how to manage a global enterprise, which is crucial to running a successful State Department,” Trump said.
“Rex Tillerson’s career is the embodiment of the American dream. Through hard work, dedication and smart deal making, Rex rose through the ranks to become CEO of ExxonMobil, one of the world’s largest and most respected companies,” the billionaire real estate mogul said in a pre-dawn news release from Trump Tower in New York.
In an accompanying statement, Tillerson said he was “honored” by his selection and shares Trump’s “vision for restoring the credibility of the United States’ foreign relations and advancing our country’s national security.”
Sen. Bob Corker, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that will hold confirmation hearings in January, called Tillerson “a very impressive individual” with “an extraordinary working knowledge of the world.” Corker, who had been considered for the secretary of state job, said Trump called him Monday to inform him of the pick.
Reince Priebus, Trump’s incoming chief of staff, said Tuesday that Tillerson was chosen because he is “a diplomat that happens to be able to drill oil.” Tillerson has “had to maintain relationships across the world in many places that aren’t the easiest places to have relationships,” Priebus said on MSNBC.
“The good Lord didn’t put oil in all freedom-loving democracies across the world and yet Rex Tillerson was able to make this work. Donald Trump and Rex Tillerson, they hit it off and they have a similar vision of how to get things done,” Priebus said.
Trump has made it clear he sees Tillerson’s deep relations with Moscow as a selling point. As ExxonMobil’s head, Tillerson maintained close ties with Russia and was awarded by President Vladimir Putin with the Order of Friendship in 2013, an honor for a foreign citizen.
For weeks, Trump has teased out the secretary of state decision process publicly, often exposing rifts in his organization. Besides Corker, he also considered former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, a one-time vocal Trump critic. Romney wrote on Facebook Monday that it “was an honor to have been considered” for the job.
Trump’s unconventional Cabinet vetting procedures are in keeping with his presidential style thus far, unconcerned with tradition or business as usual. In recent weeks, he’s attacked CIA intelligence, spoken to the leader of Taiwan — irritating China — and has continued his late-night Twitter talks.
If confirmed, Tillerson would face immediate challenges in Syria, where a civil war rages on, and in China, given Trump’s recent suggestions that he could take a more aggressive approach to dealing with Beijing.
A native of Wichita Falls, Texas, Tillerson came to ExxonMobil Corp. as a production engineer straight out of the University of Texas at Austin in 1975 and never left. Groomed for an executive position, Tillerson came up in the rough-and-tumble world of oil production, holding posts in the company’s central United States, Yemen and Russian operations.
Early in the company’s efforts to gain access to the Russian market, Tillerson cut a deal with state-owned Rosneft. The neglected post-Soviet company didn’t have a tremendous amount to offer, but Exxon partnered with it “to be on the same side of the table,” Tillerson said, according to “Private Empire,” an investigative history of Exxon by Steve Coll.

I guess the GOP establishment will have to get over it, huh??
Why? And who really cares. They are worthless as tits on a bull.
Leave it to the left to trot out their tired old eunuch, Sen. John “War Hero” McCain to vent HIS spleen.
John McCain is the back side of a socialist horse, with an over active mouth.
John Mcfart is a worn out zionist witch, who needs to be done away with, along with worthless Lindsey Graham cracker!
I agree…John McCain needs to be let out of the stall he’s had for too many years!
John McCain let Harry Reid play in the sand box with him to many times.
You are soooooooo right! They had no use for McCAIN when he ran against obama, but they love him when he goes against any attempts at conservative governmental initiatives and radical changes in policy that discard career political hacks!
personally, I prefer the saying worthless as tits on a tank but same meaning.
War hero my ass! Cry baby more like it ! Time for McLane to fade away !
Well, the establishment will be null and void next election if they don’t get with the program. We hired a businessman to run our country, cut our taxes, represent US, stop out of control spending and waste. If these RINOS cannot get with the program, then we will be forced to try to start RECALL elections for them…..if Trump needs help to drain the swamp, We The People will be glad to help him.
U r EXACTLY RIGHT! Let the year of 2017 b for NEW BEGINNINGS AND FRIGIN RECALLS!
We voters will get to do a more complete draining of the swamp, in 2018, when all of the House and one third of the Senate are up for reelection again. By that time all the as-h–es will have exposed themselves. Keep your score cards handy!
Right and L. Graham (SC) is one that will be kicked out.
Graham is a zionist paid fool!!
100% I agree
Amen too that!!!
The Ringo’s haven’t through this out very well the next election could be won by a new party call we the people and do away with both parties if they don’t grow up now and support this final election results ,enough is enough were sick of what we’re seeing from both parties get over it.
Time to THROW ALL the scumbag out on their ear !
What are they going to do about it! Nothing period! For nearly eight years now Obama has treated the Congress like a bunch of little do nothing pussies and that is exactly what they are! Donald Trump is executing the ideas that he had 30 years ago and his ideas will make America stronger, safer, more prosperous and greater than ever before!
Donald Trump has all the solutions! Hillary Clinton nary a clue!
Donald Trump, the man that didn’t need to be President!
Donald Trump, the man that America needed to be President!
Trump-Pence, the dream team of American politics!
Making America greater, stronger and safer than ever before!
Donald Trump is so right so often about so much, that it is unbelievable! He is an unstoppable genius!
THIS IS MY MESSAGE TO CONGRESS AND ALL POLITICIANS THAT HAVEN’T ACCOMPLISHED A GD THING IN THE LAST 50 YEARS, GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY AND LET OUR NEW PRESIDENT DO HIS JOB OF IMPROVING LIFE FOR ALL AMERICANS! AMERICA AND AMERICANS FIRST!
Hopefully Trump sticks to his word and enacts TERM LIMITS on ALL of Congress !!!
David Trump cannot do that. Congress has to.
There lies the problem. The do-nothing Congress is not going let go of their greed and power. They actually think our tax dollars are theirs money to blow on what and where they want to.
It is sad when they, the payer doesn’t know and care that they are the problem. They have to stop voting the same office holders back into office.
So its time for a convention of states to mandate term limits as provided for in the constitution !!! And not only term limits but a balanced budget based on t NGP !!! and a return of the social security barroed funds and a reinstatemof the trust fund status to ss !! And make all elected gov. Retirement pay less than 1\3rd of their on the job pay !!!!
trumpt blast-
Absolutely correct. It’s a little-known and seldom-if-ever-exercised part of the Constitution, but if 2/3’rds of the States agree, the law gets introduced no matter how many Congresscretins object; if 3/4’s of the States PASS it, it is positive LAW – and all the feds can do is punish the States by withholding appropriations…
…oh, wait, that’s how they get their way all the time…
If we stop paying our taxes they will not have any money to get paid by and they will come down to our level. Change your W2 to maximum withhold.
That is the best thing that could happen!
Very Well Said…..WE THE PEOP[LE
Blast: one third is crap.. where in the real world do you get paid after loosing a job for the rest of your life. Serve one term of four year’s and you are paid for life. That is total CRAP. NO PAY AFTER YOU LEAVE OFFICE, THAT INCLUDES THE PRESIDENT.
Hear, hear, hear! Right on the money! The establishment GOP RINOS ARE the swamp tha needs to be drained, and PRESIDENT TRUMP is the man to do it! and that “tired old senile eunuch, Sen. John “War Hero” McCain” needs to retire into oblivion!
And take pretty little ,establishment Graham with him.
War Hero My Ass! He told the NVA every move the Military was going to do! The songbird of Hanoi! It’s no telling how many pilots died because of Him! He worse than Jane Fonda!
I agree 100% roger
Exactly, they should try working with him for the benefit of the American people. Not some fraud’s socialist agenda!
I think the saying went,
They didn’t lead,
They did follow Obama,
Now get the he## out of the way!
What you have said here, is well great… Where were all these know-it-all’s for the past 20 year’s? Most all of the people in office now are the same people that have caused all the trouble’s in the world. Bush senior started a lot of the problem’s, and these know nothing congressmen and women just keep going along with everything so they can collect their check’s that they don’t earn. If you look back, all you are going to do is shake your head in disbelief. Common cense is not present in the hall’s of Congress or anywhere in Washington.. Pull the plug, and do it now
HILLARY has been hacking elections for a long time. Obama hacked Georgias, and that’s a federal offense. Now who’s mad at who. The American voters are furious with these swamp dwellers like Ryan McCain Grahm and turncoats. Our nation proves the destruction they have brought on us. Let’s DRAIN THE SWAMP.
Another good reason for term limits. DRAIN THE SWAMP!!!
Lets get rid of them ASAP!
And put them in jail for not doing their job and that way we don’t pay them any kind of benefits except food and water and a place to sleep.
Established politicians like Paul Ryan and McCain and Graham and more GOPs all gave OBAMA whatever he wanted, even if it helped in destroying our country. Guess this tells you who they are serving and wish to or need to serve. DRAIN THE SWAMP OF THESE TURNCOATS!!!
Do these stupid people expect him to select one of the people that ran against him calling him every name under the sun, mocking him, accusing him of things in thought if. We sure have some educated idiots in DC who think that their name on a piece of paper carry more weight than common sense. Think again.
Our government is “Of the people, by the people and for the people.” NOT “Of the politicians, by the politicians and for the politicians.” The GOP old time politicians needs to understand that they need to change or switch to the democratic party. We must keep praying to God for the safety and success of Trump, his family and staff because these old corrupt republican politicians, such as the Bush wacker family and McCain, that are just as corrupt as the old democrats, such as the Clintons.
The puppeteers are not happy, and when the puppeteers aren’t happy, ain’t NOBODY happy!
Oh, yes we are! Now America has a real leader not a pretender
Amen
And who might that be?
Now, now Ray, inform and educate yourself a little more, PRESIDENT TRUMP, that’s who.
try and guess!
That is the best thing that could happen!
Screw them! They bedn screwing us for DRCADES!
Time to rally in front of their office and home and let them know we mean business. They are shaking in their shoes for what Trump has up his sleave and plans to do.
Rino’s in reality – they did the same to DJT in both the primaries and the general election. They need to change their party affiliation and go down with the rest of the “Liberal Left”.
Agreed! Own up to who and what you really are. Take a hard look in the mirror at what you have become with you go along to get along citizens be damned attitude!
Can we impeach McCain and McConnell?
Loretta, yes they can impeach the sell outs!
Ah, Loretta, you’ve put a smile on my face: ‘…impeach McCain…one of my long-held secret dreams. And, as a happy bonus, get rid of McConnell, too’? That’s almost too good to be true. Both of these clowns should be exiled to the land of retired Rinos. Drain that damn swamp! It has been my perception for some time that the RNC has been the problem…constantly nominating ‘weak sister’ candidates, such as McCain and Romney, and giving us two consecutive administrations by the traitorous Kenyan…two disastrous for America administrations. The only good thing to come out of the McCain debacle is Sarah Palin. How refreshing to hear a staunchly pro-American voice, again, after so long a hiatus. The only thing to come out of the Romney candidacy is…give me a minute, I’m straining my brain. I can’t think of anything, right now; I’ll have to get back to you.
I’ve been in Arizona for over a decade and have tried every election to vote McCain out but he’s an engorged tick. Difficult to remove. Lot of retirees here and they love him and he’s smart enough to keep a low profile before re-election. Unfortunately he’s won again and is back for another 6 years so now he’s feeling empowered. Expect to see more of him whoring it out to the camera. It’s what he’s good at.
Re-elected another 6 years…good God, I feel for you people, another 6 years with this senile old hag, and you are right JnAZ, HE IS an engorged tick, and difficult to remove.
I am sorry but you misspelled the word it is spelled using the letters (pr) in place of (t). Thanks from a proud DAV
“I’M all for this”
If they vote against him we vote and work to get them out.Your stealing days are coming to an end.Drain the swamp!!!
Trump’s appointments are good so far. The appointment of McConnell’s wife is questionable. I think Mattis is a good choice. I do think that Trump calling him an equal of Patton or MacArthur is strange. MacArthur and Patton defeated against great odds enemies with sometimes superior force. The only modern general who can be compared to Patton or MacArthur was Gen. Schwarzkopf.
ya, but he can’t be nominated.
We the people needs to let the Republicans in the House and Senate will closely watched for support or non support of our President will be under a microscope. Those showing support will have our vote and the non supporters can expect to have their ass sent home.
Why are people giving successful people a hard time. Trump only wants what is best for American People. Drain the swamp because it needs it. Thank you everyone who had the good sense to vote for trump
Mary, they are globalist, one world supporters and very un Americans who violate their oath to up hold the constitution.
You’re welcome, Mary. My only regret is that I had only one vote to give for my country, unlike the many multiple-voting illegals, in Hillary’s army.
Hilarious,i just had a good belly laugh ,on your user name.
I do not know who the Republican establishment is, but anybody that has this information, should make it known now and keep repeating it daily. If, they are in the Senate and House of reps–VOTE THE IDIOTS OUT !!!!
The only idiots are the cry bad lying cheating democrats.
what’s wrong with knowing people
David, nothing is wrong with knowing people, but this scares the elites. Why? because they fear the loss of power and view them as a threat.
The Washington, DC insiders have had their way more than long enough, the insiders need to go, they have made a mess of the country on purpose.
We the people that vote don’t work for those damned overpaid Washington,DC insiders who are not only puppets of special interest groups, but are also overpaid true & real professional welfare receipents that will have tax free retirements except those that are residents of states where gambling is legal.
Those that are from the states where gambling is legal do pay taxes. All Washington, DC insiders need to go now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I CANNOT BELIEVE THE REPUBS SNIVELING LIKE BABYS, WHEN THEIR DO NOTHING POLITICIANS GET PASSED OVER, THEY HAD THEIR CHANCE, NOW WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL PUT SOMEBODY THAT WILL DO SOMETHING FOR OUR COUNTRY, AN QUIT SNIVELIN, EVERYBODY HATES SNIVELERS, THE WHINING ONES THAT DIDNT GET THEIR WAY. TYME TO GET OVER IT, AN MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE!
Be carefull Rhino’s your arrogance is showing.
Donald Trump is an outsider, a breath of fresh air that the stale old politics needed.
They’re afraid he will do away with their cushy jobs & I hope he drains the swamp to the very bottom & we’ll see what kind of bottom feeders are there.
He has to remove their benefits of pension, car, daily allowance for expenses, use of home for office for tax write off, etc. Also I have a question. Do they get a pension for each term that they serve like the mayor in Phila gets? That meaning that if they serve 3 terms do they get 3 pensions.
“It’s the Economy Stupid”!!! President-elect Trump is acquiring some of the most talented business leaders in the world to get the business of the US ‘back on track’. The economy is 90%+ of our problem. Jobs and investment will get people f the ‘dole’, increase tax revenues and help cure our debt problem. I could not be happier with Mr. Trump’s decisions. The U.S. is the largest business in the world and it’s about time that we have successful business men running it as such.
PLACZ, YOU ARE RIGHT THAT IS WHY WE ALL VOTED FOR A BUSINESS MAN.
GO TRUMP………GO TRUMP……….
Why do you people from arizonia keep electing this fool name mccain.
I do not understand why the Democrats and some Republicans are so upset about closer ties with Russia when nobody said a word when Obama baw to the king of Saudi Arabia. US maintain diplomatic relation with the Saudis and Iran wich are the worst human relation abuser.
A closers tie with Russia will create a super power that will restore order in this world.
I agree.
These “establishment Republicans” had better be careful about defying Mr. Trump. Voters can still remove lawmakers who resist his cabinet picks…..voters have long memories. Hopefully they will realize they are endangering their own positions by opposing his nominations. We will definitely be watching!!!
We in Louisiana got rid of some in Louisiana who were not putting the people first. After all that is suppose to be your job.
Time for states that elected these let’s block anything good or great for America and your state to stand up for a RECALL or FORCED RESIGNATION as they are NOT representing you but just their own greed and further enrichment! Time to rid the RINO SWAMP now and I mean NOW! Either these RINOS and moderates are for you and yours or they are not. Apparently, they are not for you but their ownselves PERIOD! America needs to move forward and these want only to move it backwards and shaft us AGAIN! Time to help Trump remove the Congressional swamp today! Need them out PRONTO!
Drain the swamp Trump! The Obama regime has a lot of rats in it!!!!!!!
The “establishment republicans” are like unruly children. They can’t get their way so they will pout, scream, curse, and through tantrums. I say the new President needs to find a belt and wear out some butts ! MARCO RUBIO IS A GOOD EXAMPLE. SO IS JOHN McCAIN and the back slider LINDSEY GRAHAM. The air needs to be cleared of these old farts, …… now !
The huge difference between a government bureaucrat and a successful American Businessman is simple. The government bureaucrat, is an empire builder inside his own departmental kingdom, the manager needs an assistant then the assistant requires an assistant, and so on and so forth. However, the successful American Businessman neither wants nor will he hire an assistant to assist the assistants. The last two things a successful businessman wants is first, not to waste his money paying salaries for people that won’t work and that can’t produce; secondly, they absolutely don’t want internal conflict with people, who are all trying to be 100% in charge of the department themselves, they will undermine everyone in the department including the department manager himself, they usually are inclined to slow things down or outright impede progress altogether, so nothing at all gets done. The successful Businessman will do most of the work himself, otherwise it’ll never get done! Worker gets paid weekly by his company paycheck and the businessman gets paid by earning money from results he has produced; there in is the huge difference between the bureaucrat and the professional businessman! If anyone can find fault with this narrative please tell me what it is, because I really, really would love to know what it is you disagree with?
We in Louisiana got rid of some in Louisiana who were not putting the people first. After all that is suppose to be your job. I think all of our elected officials should only get paid if they are productive. You get benefits if the people say so .
Trump’s choice make’s a lot of sense – let him have his trusted Secretary, besides, he is a billionaire so he has no reason to get richer like others have.
A brilliant business man is draining the Washington swamp and taking the bull by the horns to make America great again. I am happy, it’s about time. Go Mr. Trump!!!
McCain is a RINO getting a little under the table money from the likes of Schumer to get up and peddle this liberal garbage. The people in Arizona should be totally embarrassed that they sent this Traitor back. So he was a POW many were and they aren’t waving the flag look here I was a POW so give me all I want. His fellow POWs don’t seem to speak well for f him as dome think he was a traitor. He is like most of us are a US VETERAN and that’s all.
These GOP,s establishment can be voted out , next time they are up for re-election, or told to stay home if there is ever a TERM LIMIT, voted in. or I say a public vote of ” NO CONFIDENCE ” against a RINO. that is getting his $$$$ from both sides, over the table top an that under the table $$$. just think of the BIG $$$$ in tax revenue that under the table million $$$ could make. I would love to see many of them SHAMED INTO RESIGNATION from a ” NO CONFIDENCE VOTE from the people by the people
We taxpayers can reduce our own taxes by 75%. All we have to do is insist on term limits and absolutely no retirement program for anybody in elected office. That’s the way the Founder’s set it up, and for good reason. “Congress, like a baby’s diaper, needs to be changed often, and for the same reason.” That’s somebody’s quote that should be posted in every public building.
Oh, yes, by all means let’s punch Putin in the nose, and start WW3. Let’s keep on accusing them of interfering with our election
process. Let’s keep accusing them of hacking those oh so vulnerable emails of Hillary Clinton. Dems keep accusing and pushing
at the Russians. They don’t know when to quit being devious. Wouldn’t you prefer to have better relations with Russia? I for one
would feel better if we had a good working relationship with them. These establishment Repubs want to keep their perks and lobbyists. They do not want President Trump to upset their plush, cushy, apple carts that they have had for years. GO TRUMP!!!
Drain that swamp!!!
News break…that story about Russia was made up and has been totally debunked by the radio talk show hosts with some giving the complete details. You must have noticed that the Dems are not disputing the contents of the emails but the fact they were made public.
This is about a bunch of old RINOs that still think they are running the show. They fail to notice that “we the people” voted for Trump to lead us. McCain never was any good and McConnell along with Paul Ryan are just slimy pukes stealing as much as possible and as fast as possible.
The arrogance of some of these RINOs is comparable to the democRATS. What part of “drain the swamp” do they not understand? If you’re not going to be part of the solution then you’re part of the problem and it’s time for you to hit the road and let someone with actual concerns for “we the people” to fill your place.
TRUMP DIDN’T WIN BECAUSE HE WAS A REPUBLICAN……..THE REPUBLICANS WON BECAUSE TRUMP IS TRUMP……..
I REGISTERED REPUBLICAN ONLY SO I COULD VOTE TRUMP IN THE PRIMARY…….OTHERWISE, I CAN’T STAND EITHER PARTY………..DRAIN THE SWAMP AND SWEEP OUT THE CESSPOOLS!
P.S. WE’RE TOLD HOW BAD RUSSIA IS………BUT HOW IS IRAN AND CUBA ANY BETTER???? WHY THE FRIENDSHIP THERE????
Draining the swamp will be difficult mostly because the swamp dwellers want to retire with that BIG government paycheck.
If the Politicians pay were based on the minimum wage it would be easier to keep everyone honest. Even if a politician made 10 times as much as a man that works for a living and pays the taxes that supports these WHEELS. At least if they wanted more money they would have to push for the minimum wage to go up so they themselves could get a raise. Now the real worker could see a little more money instead of being crushed every time by a bigger and bigger difference in what the LITTLE man take home.
This is very true about the wages. The politicians have a lot of money to begin with in order to run for office so for the term that they are running for should not be for them to get rich but to do a job they wanted to do for the country, like Trump, and then after that term let someone else take over.
Trump is neither republican or democrate. He is American!
Trump is doing exactly what the people who voted him in wanted to get done….and its about time…….The voters were tired of all the corruption the clintons and others were involved in….
Hillary is very paranoid along with bill as well as they should be 1.5 billion the big donors lost by betting on the old dead horse Hillary,,, they might be worried about un natural causes of death turning 180 degrees pointing in their direction??????
Hopefully the voters will wake up and when these insiders come up for re-election the voters of these states will promptly show them the door. Don’t let the door hit you were the good Lord split you. Should be real easy to separate the wheat from the chaff now.
It seems like the desire for “change” and to drain out the swamp is so paramount that people are not assessing what the new cabinet members represent. The majority have backgrounds that will have their leadership do the opposite of what will do the best for our country. It will be doing the best for Trump, as he continues his prime interest in gaining contacts with foreign governments, so when he may be impeached he will have a set up to go all out for what has really been a self interest Pied Piper that has actively led us down the crazy pathway. His background in the entertainment field has helped to manipulate his way to what should be a top leadership for a person who really cares for the peoples welfare, not just the ultra rich. Sad Days ahead.
Blame Ryan, McConnell, Graham, McCain as the RINOs blocking Trumps plans for America.
Blame the Estd GOP & those active Dems alone
Name names, Take NO prisoners.
What have we got from the Washington politicians? A mountain of debt and a world that is wracked by problems around the globe. If the Republicans on Capitol Hill could not advance much of their agenda against President Obama why should we think they will be any better against strong-willed world leaders.
I’m glad to see Donald Trump is picking people who have been successful in the business world. Considering our nation’s many problems I don’t think the answer lies with the politicians in D.C. If they could have fixed most of these things they would have ceased being problems long ago. Keep in mind President Bush was able to deal with a Republican House and Senate for several years and President Obama was able to deal with a Democrat House and Senate for several years. The Washington political class has a record of failures.
They can support his policies or be voted out of office when they come up for re election that is what we are going to have to do if we intend to have good government again, we have to keep up with their voting records, what bills they voted for, whether we think the bills are good for us or not, after a few of these decisions the establishments will begin to see the light
McCain & Rubio are losers; particularly McCain, last in his class at West Point, was a fighter pilot because his dad was a general, sold out his fellow flyers in Vietnam to get preferential treatment, and went downhill from there. They are quoted because they are high profile losers. When I see a story where their opinions are included I quit reading, as I know the author is at a dead end or close to deadline. Hell, why not just throw in a quote from Kasich for good measure.
… being from AZ, agree that the ‘Son of Cain’ has morphed into a self-serving, sellout, loser!
Not sure if Soros pulled strings to help him win over Dr. Kelly Ward, or if there are just too many
uninformed ‘Sun City’ types that keep putting the loser back into office for the past three decades.
Regardless, the old RINO sellout is far beyond need of being kicked off the taxpayer’s dole.
Our Nation’s Senate is doomed as long as RINO’s like ‘Son of Cain’ & Bitc# McConnell keep
having their a$$es re-elected into Senate seats. (Proof that high ‘IQ’ is not a requirement to vote?)
The established GOP elite need to understand it was the rank and file Republicans that elected Trump, and if they don’t get behind him and start supporting him. We will use our voting power to put them out of office and get people in there who will. The established GOP elite have forgotten this is a government of the people and for the people. Get behind Trump or get voted out of office.
Establishment GOP unleashes fury at Trump … over Rex – as should EVERYONE!
will there be a future third party? Democrats, Republicans, and THE PRESS, because they are in a position to run the world as they PRINT and SPOUT it…..won’t have to bother with electing reps to Congress, just print, spout and distribute whatever they decide and continue with their RIGHTS, FREEDOMS, and final JUDGMENTS of all things….and the PRESS is the judge and jury. Won’t have to go through any more elections…..just READ and HEAR what they give us as our LEADERS
So, John McCain is upset that Donald Trump is not picking a political insider to be Secretary of State. Well, boo-hoo to him! And apparently, he and Marco Rubio are upset that Rex Tillerson has done business in Russia.
Cry-babies! I’m sick of hearing these yappers saying that only political insiders are worthy of being Secretary of State. Killary Clinton has shown us the worthiness of that objective. And Bob (Put a Cork in Him) Corker should never be allowed close to the position, since he single-handedly created a rule that smashed the Senate’s treaty power to smithereens regarding the Iran deal. He was probably the absolute worst possible choice for the job. Unless Trump would have selected Killary Clinton take back her old job.
At least I didn’t have to read what Washington DC’s village idiot Sen. Lindsay Graham had to say about the selection process.
