Epstein-Bill Clinton bombshell, “prime suspect” identified

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer just dropped a bombshell on former President Bill Clinton, calling him the “prime suspect” in the Congressional investigation into billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s mysterious client list and criminal activities.

Is jail time next?

Comer issued subpoenas on August 5 demanding testimony from Clinton and other high-ranking officials about their knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities. It is a significant escalation in congressional efforts to uncover the truth about the disgraced financier’s network of powerful connections before his death by suicide in 2019.

Clinton faces a scheduled deposition date of October 14 for one of the most high-profile congressional testimonies in recent years. Comer said the former president, who is listed in Epstein’s private jet flight logs numerous times over the years, as a “prime suspect” during a Monday appearance on Newsmax.

“Everybody in America wants to know what went on in Epstein Island and we’ve all heard reports that Bill Clinton was a frequent visitor there, so he’s a prime suspect to be deposed by the House Oversight Committee,” Comer said. “So hopefully we’ll win that court battle with that subpoena and see President Clinton in October.”

The subpoenas extend far beyond Clinton, targeting a roster of former government officials who may have had knowledge of or involvement in Epstein-related investigations. Hillary Clinton, former FBI directors James Comey and Robert Mueller, and former Attorneys General Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Alberto Gonzales, Jeff Sessions, William Barr, and Merrick Garland have all been called to testify.

The committee has also demanded that the Justice Department turn over all documents related to its Jeffrey Epstein probe by August 19.

Deposition dates range from August 18 for Barr to October 14 for Bill Clinton, which will keep the Epstein case in the public spotlight through the fall.

What makes this subpoena particularly powerful is its bipartisan nature. In an unusual move, Democrats joined Republicans in approving the subpoenas through a motion that passed in the Republican-led subcommittee.

Republicans Representatives Nancy Mace of South Carolina, Scott Perry of Pennsylvania, and Brian Jack of Georgia voted alongside five Democrats on the panel to approve the action.

“I’ve never lost a subpoena battle, I’ve been chairman of that committee for a year and a half, this is the most challenging subpoena I’ve ever issued, but what makes this subpoena different is that the Democrats voted with Republicans,” Comer said. “This is a bipartisan, congressionally-approved subpoena, and I think that will hold a lot of weight in court … [Clinton is] gonna have the best lawyers in America fighting us tooth and toenail on this, but the fact that this was voted on by Republicans and Democrats.”

The subpoenas came after the Justice Department’s controversial conclusion last month that Epstein had no “client list” and died by suicide in his jail cell. Critics believe critical information about Epstein’s client network of global elites is being hidden from public view.

The congressional action comes as Representatives Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Ro Khanna of California are working separately to force a House vote on declassifying the Epstein files. Their discharge petition is expected to come up for consideration when the House returns from its August recess in September. If 218 members sign the petition, House leadership will be required to bring the resolution to the floor for a vote.

House Speaker Mike Johnson has publicly supported transparency in the Epstein case, stating “there’s no fear” among Republicans regarding the investigation.
