Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has a long history of mistruths and flat-out lies — and her exhausted brothers are finally speaking out to friends.
The three brothers of Warren — David, Don, and John Herring — are Oklahoma residents that, in the past, said they shy away from the public spotlight at Warren’s request.
In 2012, David told a local reporter “he had to be careful about what he said so as not to upset his sister or the campaign.”
But privately, the brothers have been fuming over some of Warren’s false claims.
After Warren said her dad worked as a janitor to make ends meet, her brother David Herring was reportedly furious.
“When she called her dad a janitor during the early stages of this, David was furious,” said Pamela Winblood, 78, a longtime friend told The Boston Globe. “He said, ‘My Dad was never a janitor.’”
He was insistent that his father was a maintenance worker.
Beyond a recent campaign rally appearance, the last time the three brothers made a public showing was in Warren’s infamous 1/1024 video.
Warren later tried to scrub the video from the internet and apologized to the Cherokee Nation for the “harm” she caused through her lie.
Here’s the video Warren tried to have erased from the internet —
