Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren has high ambitions, and her star is on the rise among liberals thanks to her repeated, unfair attacks against President Donald Trump.
But there’s some bad news for Warren. Before she gets a chance to run for the White House, she’ll need to be reelected — and according to new polls, that’s looking increasingly unlikely.

A new poll from local station WBUR showed that only 44 percent of Massachusetts voters think Warren “deserves reelection.”
Meanwhile, 46 percent report they are ready to throw her out and “give someone else a chance.”
These early numbers are bad news for Warren’s reelection hopes, experts say. According to Steve Koczela, president of The MassINC Polling Group that conducted the survey, “No one’s going to look at a 44 percent reelect number and think that that’s a good number.”
Even in deep blue Massachusetts, it seems voters are ready to “drain the swamp.”
“No one’s going to look at it being close to even between ‘reelect’ and ‘give someone else a chance’ and think that that’s reassuring,” Koczela told WBULA.
Meanwhile, the numbers have her Republican opponents rejoicing -– and they’re eager to unseat Warren.

Among the possible challengers to her seat being called for by voters is former Red Sox pitcher and current conservative talk show host Curt Schilling.
“Schilling is an iconic sports hero, comparable to Tom Brady, but he would have to be a lot more disciplined to run a viable campaign,” Donald Brand, a political science professor at the College of the Holy Cross, told Fox News about Schilling’s chances. “I would anticipate that the Democratic elite nationally would rally to her if it’s a tight race.”
