Drunk Kamala Harris has total meltdown (video)

Was former Vice President Kamala Harris drunk when she exploded into a profanity-filled tirade against President Donald Trump during an interview on Thursday?

Critics have asked if Harris had been “hitting the bottle” when she appeared on “The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart” and attacked the president over the privately-funded White House ballroom construction during the Democrat-led government shutdown.

Harris appeared on the podcast to promote her new book “107 Days” about her failed 2024 presidential campaign. The interview turned heated when Stewart asked about Trump’s planned ballroom at the White House.

“Are you f**king kidding me!? This guy wants to create a ballroom for his rich friends while completely turning a blind eye to the fact that babies are going to starve when the SNAP benefits end in just hours from now!” Harris said. “Come on!”

“I’m not going to be distracted by, ‘Oh, does the guy have a big f**king hammer!?’ What about those babies!?” she said.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides food assistance to over 40 million Americans. SNAP funding is set to run out after Friday unless Democrats pass one of the many continuing resolutions proposed by Republicans to reopen the government.

GOP lawmakers have tried 13 separate times to pass a clean continuing resolution to fund the government and keep programs like SNAP operating. Democrats have voted against the measure each time, blocking the funding for programs they claim are essential.

Trump announced he is building the $300 million ballroom project at the White House with private donor funding. The new ballroom will accommodate nearly 1,000 guests for White House social events and state dinners with world leaders. Construction began last week on the project.

Democrats and left-wing activists criticized the demolition of the White House’s East Wing as construction on the ballroom began. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, California Governor Gavin Newsom, and former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre used photographs of the construction to accuse the president of abusing his power.

Conservative critics questioned Harris’s mental state during the interview. RedState columnist Bonchie wrote that Harris seemed drunk.

“For a woman who already has questions surrounding her about her sobriety, this probably wasn’t the best look,” Bonchie wrote. “It’s also one of several recent interviews she’s done where she thoroughly embarrassed herself.”

Bonchie called Harris’s claims about starving babies “disgusting nonsense.”

“For one, the idea that people are going to suddenly starve to death if SNAP benefits are disrupted for a few days or even weeks is ludicrous,” Bonchie wrote. “The amount of waste and abuse in that program is ridiculous, and Americans are exceedingly generous toward those truly in need. You could end SNAP tomorrow, and I’d bet my house that no one would starve as a result.”

In a moment of clarity, Harris told Stewart that Democrats need to focus on ideas — rather than just being anti-Trump.

“We need to not only be against something, but also we need to be understanding of how we got here, and that it’s a bigger apparatus, and not just the one guy,” Harris said. “But the second point that is equally important, which we’re not emphasizing, is what we stand for.”

“People got to know what you stand for so that they’re clear about what they’re fighting for,” she said.

Take a look (her nasty rant starts at the 49th minute) —
