How do you know when you’re losing the battle over the so-called Dreamers?
When even the Dreamers themselves are calling you out over it!
Hilario Yanez, who was brought to the United States when he was a baby, has just about reached his limit of left-wing stalling, posturing and political games.
He’s been calling out Democrats, getting on TV and naming names as he lets them know exactly what he thinks about their complete lack of leadership on this core issue.

“The Democratic leadership, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, really have no clear message,” he said on Fox & Friends. “We have been confused. I think at the end of the day they have been using us as pawns.”
No truer words have ever been said!
They used the Dreamers for leverage over Republicans during the January “Schumer shutdown,” then again during the budget negotiations earlier this month.
Yet despite using the Dreamers… despite practically chanting the word at every turn and media opportunity… once the cameras were off, they abandoned these people.
They did nothing. And it’s been noticed.
Yanez also slaughtered a few other liberal sacred cows. He said he’s for increased border security, for building the wall, for honoring the flag, and for ending the diversity lottery.
But there’s one thing he’s not for, and that’s using Dreamers as pawns in the budget battle.
“They never should have shut down the government over DACA,” he said, calling out both House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer by name. “We should have never held our American people and our military hostage.”
It sure sounds like this Dreamer is more patriotic… and more level-headed… than any of the Democrats in Congress right now.
Like many Dreamers, he’s even noticed who’s willing to work on this issue in Washington… and it’s certainly not Schumer and Pelosi, who’d rather use them as pawns.
“You can see Republicans already willing to do something about it as we speak,” he said.
Chief among those Republicans is the president himself, who Yanez called “one of the greatest presidents” in terms of getting things done.
“I mean, look at the tax cuts. He got that done. Now he’s trying to do immigration reform. Now the next thing is infrastructure. So this guy, President Trump, is willing to work with Democrats,” he said. “But at the end the day it is the Democrats who don’t want to work with him.”
Yanez still wasn’t done, and his parting shot at the liberal left may have been his most pointed.
“And the last point that I want to say is that look, Democrats, they owned all three branches of the government back in 2008 to 2011 and they still chose not to do anything,” he said. “So at this point I am quite frustrated with the Democratic leadership.”
Yanez was one profiled by the New York Times, no doubt making him the left’s version of a model Dreamer.
But now, with him turning on the left, maybe they’re going to start shopping around for a new model.
