Donald Trump just dropped major secure border breakthrough

A golfer as intent as President Donald Trump appreciates the power of a bogey—but he managed to pull off something last week that is impossible in his favorite sport: He made two holes in one swing.

As President Trump watched the House pass legislation codifying all his campaign promises into law—which congressmen officially renamed the “One Big, Beautiful Bill”—he managed to fulfill a campaign promise from 2016.

The bill is primarily an economic measure, keeping American taxpayers from experiencing a massive tax hike next year when his 2017 tax cuts were set to expire.

But an 1,100-page bill has much more in it—including a big, beautiful surprise.

The bill, which passed on Thursday morning, contains $50 billion to finish building the Big, Beautiful Wall across America’s southern border with Mexico—the most conspicuous piece of unfinished business from the 45th president’s tenure in office.

Trump built hundreds of miles of wall during his first four years, but backstabbing RINOs, judicial activists, and Deep State operatives kept him from completing it. Under Joe Biden, the government welded parts of the wall open and tried to sell off the scraps.

The bill contains “funding to complete 701 miles of primary wall, construct 900 miles of river barriers, construct 629 miles of secondary barriers, and replace 141 miles of vehicle and pedestrian barriers,” according to Rep. Daniel Webster, R-Fla.

Now, billions will go to secure the U.S. instead of the Ukraine—and that’s just the beginning of how the bill helps keep the border safe and secure.

“The bill provides the Department of Homeland Security the funding it needs to resume construction of the border wall and other physical barriers, and provide technology and equipment to monitor illegal activity along the border,” said Julie Kirchner, executive director of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). “In addition to infrastructure, Customs and Border Protection will have funding to hire thousands of new Border Patrol agents and Office of Field Operations will have funding to hire more officers to man ports of entry.”

The government will have the resources to hire thousands upon thousands of Border Patrol, ICE, and CBP agents, who will repel, arrest, and deport the narcoterrorists, human smugglers, and sex traffickers who hustled 10 million people into the country during the Biden-Harris years.

“For decades Congress has promised to secure the border and failed to deliver. The House Reconciliation bill delivers on the promise of building the border wall, 10,000 ICE officers, detention beds, historic funding for Customs and Border Patrol and a tax on money illegal aliens send out of the country. ,” said the immigration reform group NumbersUSA. “The Trump Administration needs this funding to deport illegal aliens, millions of whom entered the country over the last four years.”

Not only does the bill ramp up border enforcement—and mass deportations—but it cuts off the rewards U.S. taxpayers dole out to illegal aliens. From now on, anyone who files for a refundable tax credit must have a valid Social Security number approved for work…something not available to illegal immigrants.

“Millions of illegal immigrants let in by Joe Biden will finally no longer be eligible for refundable tax credits and will start paying the American taxpayer back,” said Rep. Jason Smith, R-Mo., the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. “While ending numerous tax breaks for elites, this legislation advances other common-sense priorities.”

One of those common sense initiatives is paying back Americans who had to bear the cost of Biden’s open borders madness for four years.

The bill also includes $12 billion to refund states who paid the costs of the illegal alien invasion during the Biden administration. About $11.1 billion is slated to go to the Lone Star State itself.

“It’s the federal government’s job to secure the homeland, yet the Biden/Harris administration abdicated its duty and abandoned our states on the frontlines of the border crisis. As Texans know, our state bore the brunt of that abject failure, both societally and financially,” said Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, who secured that provision. “Four years of chaos and suffering later, Congress is doing the right thing: paying Texas back.”

It also stops the flow of money going back to Mexico by taxing remittances from illegal immigrants.

And it beefs up the Coast Guard and other agents fighting the drug trade, human trafficking, and the coalition of international street gangs that have terrorized American neighborhoods for too long.

“The reconciliation package is by no means the final step to fulfilling President Trump’s pledge to end illegal immigration and sharply reduce the number of people living here illegally, but it is a promising start,” said Kirchner “There is much more to be done through the normal legislative process to prevent future administrations from throwing open our borders and abusing their authority to allow illegal aliens to live, work and collect public benefits here.”

But the big, beautiful bill made a big, beautiful start.
