Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is expecting some very bad news on Friday — and it’s going to cap off what Fox News has labeled a “very bad week” for the New York Democrat.
“On Friday we’re expected to learn from the federal Bureau of Economic Analysis that the U.S. economy grew at a blistering pace in the second quarter of this year, further affirming the success of President Trump’s tax cuts and deregulatory efforts,” Fox News’ Liz Peek reported Wednesday.
That’s bad news for Schumer and his political allies, who are desperately trying to distract American voters from the good news.
With the 2018 midterm elections coming up, Americans are reporting to political pollsters that they’re very happy with the booming economy under Trump. The president’s approval rating is soaring, to a high-water 45 percent according to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll.
Meanwhile, Democrats numbers are slipping as the nation heads toward the all-important 2018 midterm. “Democrats’ ‘Resistance’ to Trump Is Eroding, and So Are Their Poll Numbers,” reports The Atlantic.
Trump himself hinted that Friday’s numbers will show that America’s economy is continuing to roar back to life —
Our Country is doing GREAT. Best financial numbers on the Planet. Great to have USA WINNING AGAIN!

If Democrats can’t promise Americans a better future, why would voters turn out for them?
Desperate to win over voters, the party is swinging far-left. That will only hurt their chances more.
“Democrats are in a tough position. They would like to convince voters they hold the key to a more prosperous future. Facing an extremely prosperous present, they have adopted ever more extreme programs like guaranteed jobs or free college tuition to attract support,” Peek wrote Tuesday. “Some think such promises are almost too good to be true. They are correct.”
Even far-left cable news giant CNN is telling Schumer that his party is on a collision course for disaster, warning that “Democrats are in danger of going too far left for 2018.”
Friday, Schumer and his political allies get even worse news: America is great again.
