Senate Minority Leader Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., is asking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., for more evidence, documents and time before the Democratic-led impeachment trial moves on to the Senate.
And one Republican Rep. Mark Green, R-Tenn. says this proves that Schumer’s support for Pelosi has dwindled down to a grinding halt.
To Green, he thinks Schumer believes that Pelosi blew impeachment big time.
“What he’s saying is, ‘Hey Nancy, you failed,'” Green explained on Fox Business’ Trish Regan.

Pelosi’s impeachment attempt has backfired politically — and now Schumer is scrambling for anymore more to sway the opinion of voters. Two days before Christmas, The New York Times reported that Schumer demanded Pelosi turn over an exhaustive list of emails and documents.
“Look at what Chuck Schumer is saying now,” Green wrote on Twitter after his Fox appearance. “He’s saying we need to do more investigating. What he’s saying is, ‘#NancyPelosi, you failed. You failed to make the case and now we’ve got to do more investigations.'”
To make sense of all this, let’s think…
If Schumer says that the Democrats need to hear MORE testimony from people like acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and former National Security Adviser John Bolton, among others, then WHY did they bulldoze the vote through the House floor?
It’s proof that Schumer’s confidence in Pelosi is really at an all-time low.
And that impeachment has totally backfired on the Democrats.
