In an outrageous claim made on CBS’s Evening News Thursday night, anchor Scott Pelley blamed House Majority Whip Steve Scalise for his own shooting instead of the liberal Bernie Sanders volunteer who was responsible.
Discussing the rhetoric used by the media and politicians, Pelley accuses, among others, President Donald J. Trump.
“It’s time to ask whether the attack on the United States Congress, yesterday, was foreseeable, predictable and, to some degree, self-inflicted,” Pelley claims.
If it was so foreseeable, why didn’t you get out there and stop it, Scott?

No one can predict the actions of a madman.
“Too many leaders, and political commentators, who set an example for us to follow, have led us into an abyss of violent rhetoric which, it should be no surprise, has led to violence,” Pelley goes on. He then cites tweets from Trump as ‘proof’ that he contributed to the attack.
The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!

But, he fails to mention all the acts of violence committed against conservatives by the far left, such as the many attacks by Hillary supporters at Trump rallies and protests or the violence perpetuated by groups such as Black Lives Matter or the Antifa.

Instead, Pelley implies that Republican ideology justifies or explains attacks made against the GOP and their supporters.
As for the cited tweet, Trump is stating a fact (a clear one if the left would open their eyes!), not calling his supporters to act violently, like Bernie Sanders did on Monday! The Horn News reported on that story, which can be found here.
Scott Pelley and CBS should quit while they’re behind!
