A Pennsylvania man who has filed more than 30 lawsuits claiming to be severely disabled has pleaded guilty to felony perjury after prosecutors say he was found doing maintenance on his house.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports 60-year-old James George Douris entered the plea Wednesday in Bucks County.
The charge stemmed from a court proceeding last year. Prosecutors said Douris told a judge he wasn’t able to walk or hold a glass of water, and he hadn’t been properly served with court papers because he couldn’t pick up papers left at his door.
Investigators caught Douris using a power saw and ladder on his property.
The Newtown man lost a 2010 Commonwealth Court decision after trying to qualify his dog as a household member for the purposes of getting food stamps.

I wonder where you can get in touch with people from these places paying out so much dough for freeloading, lazy idiots like that. I could turn in quite a few in our county who draw on total disability and unable to work, yet you see them carrying a couches and wood furniture (heavy stuff) down the sidewalks and they help at the local auction houses. They don’t have any permanent back problems or head problems to do that kind of work!!!! The agencies need to go check out people like this on the list of total disability. Not right we are paying for that.
If you know someone committing this type of fraud and don’t report them then you are just as guilty.

This guy is the tip of the iceberg. I know some young 30-something women who have raised living off entitlements to a fine art. Most don’t work at all, and usually have some sort of disability for which they are paid. They tell me that the easiest way to qualify for disability is to claim you are an alcoholic or drug addict, or if that fails, to claim long term depression. A few of these women work as waitresses where they use their ‘single mom’ status to guilt people into higher tips, which they almost always fail to claim on their tax returns. One woman makes nearly 50 K per year in tips, claims around 20 K, pays some tax, then gets it all back as a refund PLUS extra money in the form of some kind of tax credit for each out of wedlock child. She claims she gets more money for a mixed race child, but I’m not sure if that is fed money or state/local. She admits that she tries to have a one mixed race baby at least every two years to “keep the money coming.” We added up her true income plus all the benefits she gets, and she is pulling in close to 90K per year tax free when you add up all local, state and fed entitlements. The people on these programs get all kinds of “free” non-essentials benefits such as the same high speed internet I pay nearly $100 per month for and smart phone and service that costs the rest of us between $80 and $100 per month. I read that there are cities (counties?) in Pennsylvania that were proposing to even pay for them to rent and drive a car. And in my town the liberal politicians actually went so far as to propose that taxpayers pay for the booze for homeless drunks and pay their rent and all living expenses if they would just take their drinking inside off the street. Seriously. I am not kidding. These people are now enjoying a better lifestyle than the tax payers who support them, and without all the hassles of going to work and earning a living or paying taxes. And as one of them told me, they also are lawsuit proof because they have nothing (on paper, at least) that anyone would expect to win in a settlement. This is how votes are bought, and how a country and its people are destroyed.
Just think….there are millions of people out there just as corrupt as he is. This is what the socialist left has created.
