Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will select Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his vice presidential running mate, according to Washington, D.C. paper Roll Call.
Pence, 57, is a steady, staunch conservative who will help calm nervous establishment Republican that remain wary of Trump.
He also could be a big help for Trump in Midwestern swing states.
Pence served six terms in Congress before becoming Indiana governor. According to The Associated Press, Pence also has deep ties to evangelical Christians and other conservatives, particularly after signing a law last year that critics said would have allowed businesses to deny service to gay people for religious reasons.
Trump took notice of Pence during the Indiana primary, noting that the governor had high praise for him despite initially endorsing one of his rivals, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
Trump will reportedly appear with Pence tomorrow in Manhattan.
What are your thoughts on Trump / Pence 2016? Comment below!
Very happy with this choice!
me, too!!!
Me three, happy with Pence!
Mr. Trump himself said he would announce his pick at eleven o’clock am on Friday . Sorry folks , today is Thursday.
Bill, No problem with him announcing it before he said.
Trump hasn’t announce yet. Don’t be surprised if Mr. Unpredictable comes up w somebody else. Go Trump/Pence 2016!!!
Trump is done – he better goes home to NY to his wives. Indiana Gov. Mike Pence looks like a retard. Look he short and fat like Trump. Compare that with Obama pick – Joe Biden. Both are tall and good looking. Americans love to elect good looking presidents. Trump/Pence ticket is done a failure. GOP might as well fold and go home. Let’s prepare for Hillary to take over from President Obama. Vote for Hillary on November 8 at 9 am.
pmbalele, what a sorry post from a partisan demagogic troll.
You are the retard if you think height and body composition trumps character and experience. Look at Abraham Lincoln and Harry Truman. Neither one were good looking; but they really are the only Presidents who had both character and guts during trying times.
Most bullies, serial rapists, killers and con men are good looking and well built like some football players.
Right now we have a Muslin lover and racist as President trying to start a race war so he can declare Martial Law; and he is backing the Clintons who have a body count you cannot begin to imagine. Last one, the Romanian who hacked Hillary’s e-mails and supposedly committed suicide by hanging himself in a Virginia Jail before he could testify against Hillary. No wonder the FBI was afraid to recommend prosecution of Hillary. If you want to, I am sure you can find at least a dozen or more bodies if you do your research.
THE GOVERNOR OF OUR NEIGHBORING STATE AND A CONSERVATIVE! That is fine with me!
Southern Illinois Belle.
I am thrilled
Not me, Newt Gingricjh should be the choice for VP ..!!
Newt will be better in charge of the White House !
Newt would be a replacement for Loretta Lynch -=———AG
He would be better as VP, but AG or other high position is good.
Gingrich is a globalist.
Hey, have you noticed — we LIVE on a GLOBE We’re ALL “globalists” by force of nature, never mind politics.
Like every INTELLIGENT person living in the 21st century, Newt Gingrich understands this. He knows we don’t occupy that globe all by ourselves. WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH OTHER COUNTRIES. That doesn’t mean selling out, but EVERY transaction between or among nations IS a matter of GIVE AND TAKE. We want something, Country X wants something else. We DICKER. Eventually each of us gets, oh, 80% of what we wanted, so we sign the treaty (or whatever) and go home to tell our constituents that we ‘won” that issue. AND WE DID, because NOBODY EVER GETS 100% OF WHAT THEY WANT.
The alternative, of course, is WAR. Do you think that’s BETTER than making deals with other countries? Keep in mind that OVER A DOZEN NATIONS TODAY ARE NUCLEAR POWERS and an uncertain number have chemical or biological weapons. Want a war? Better than being a “globalist”? NOT IF YOU WANT TO LIVE.
So PLEASE get off that “globalists are bad” NONSENSE. Golbalists are US. ALL of us.
No, he is not. Newt would have been a great choice, butvso is Pence.
Newt would be the better choice.
Yes i thought Newt would be great for the negotiating team
well Linda too bad you don’t know what a real globalist is…..Globalists are NOT okay you idiot. Do you kow their agenda? No of course not. You are just one more of the idiots responsible for the mess the USA is in, as you know squat about anyone that is running or what a globalist is. You don’t know how your country got this way and you don’t understand how or why. Do you know how to research? Probably not. so sad.
Dear Lynda,
Globalists are those who owe their allegiance to the United Nations, who, like good ‘ol Hillary, claim to be Progressives: Code word for – “I love the UN.” Sovereignty to them means “We’re all in this together, so lets love each regardless of what we believe nation wide.” When, not if, that happens you can kiss America goodbye.
That’s the kind of logic Newt Gingrich understands, having been an astute student of history for years. I doubt that Obama, Hillary, Kerry, Bernie and their ilk even know what a history book looks like, let-alone the Constitution. God Bless America, the land that used to be free, and the home of the brave.
May be Newt will be in a good position to do good for USA
I like Newt to. He would be a VP. Sounds like Trump made a good choice.
Newt would be better choce for vice president
I go for Ted Cruz or Newt. That be a strong contender against Hillary!
I hoped so much he’d choose Newt. Newt is brilliant and so experienced.
I am sure it was a hard choice for Trump, but I think gingrich would take over as prez…
maybe bowl right over Trump, or try to….
Similar to what Cheney did with Shrub.
I’m with you! Newt would have been dynamite in the debates!
Yes, Newt would have been a good choice, but Pence is a good one. I preferred Newt but will support Pence as well.
Newt is a GLOBALIST! Look up youtube- not the guy you think he is – and too old and too much baggage.
Congratulations Gov Pence- we welcome your candidacy and wait for you to speak for us ALL as TRUMP does.
Several people here seem to be hung up on the FORMAL definition of a Globalist. I think you can understand the World is a globe and there are lots of differing concerns without believing one focus of power can effectively manage it. Newt is brilliant and he will contribute to his maximum effect on whatever team and in whatever position he joins. If Trump puts him in an official position (SecState perhaps) he will be outstanding; if Chief of Staff, outstanding too. While Newt clearly has an ego I think he read the plaque behind Reagan’s desk: there is not limit to what you can achieve if you don’t care who gets the credit! History has a way of sorting that crap out. Truman now gets the credit for he Marshall plan (because he, Truman, understood doing the right thing is more important than putting your name on stuff).
We ALL live on a GLOBE called EARTH. There are almost 200 nations — do you think we can just IGNORE all the others? Do you ever travel, or want to? YOU’RE a globalist! Do you speak, or want to learn, another language to get ahead in your job? You’re a globalist! Take a look at your computer/phone/TV/clothes and see where they were made! YOU’RE a globalist!
And sometimes even those awful, annoying global institutions we love to hate do something RIGHT. Just YESTERDAY a panel nobody ever heard of ruled AGAINST CHINA in a case about China’s illegal construction of fake islands in the South China Sea — islands they were ARMING with MISSILES they could one day shoot at US. WE had nothing to do with the case: the PHILIPPINES challenged China — AND WON. Why do WE care? Well, apart from the fact that China could have used those fake islands as MISSILE BASES and shot off those missiles at Alaska (there goes our oil!) or CALIFORNIA, there’s also the fact that China’s “islands” were blocking SHIPPING lanes in the western Pacific. That COST MONEY to AMERICAN shippers (and thus American CONSUMERS: YOU AND ME) as well as anyone else with a cargo ship plying the sea lanes. And this stupid little globalist commission that nobody ever heard of came down like a ton of bricks on CHINA and FOR US (indirectly). You never know!
The term Globalist probably refers to Obama more than anyone because he said that he was a Citizen of the world. We have all done our share of traveling, but that doesn’t mean we are globalist because our allegiance is to America and not the whole world as Obama has stated. Notwithstanding, I do not believe that Newt is a globalist because he is not even a “Tiny Smiggen” like Obama, if he were Trump would not have him as a consideration. When we are controlled by a One World Government, THEN you will find out for sure what a globalist really is. Right now, Hillary and Obama are the most prominent globalist that I can think of.
I agree about the baggage-the press would have a hey day whereas Pence has a cleaner slate…at least I hope
Your right Newt has too much baggage and that is why he lost re-election the last time. Unlike the Democrats, Republicans must be above reproach. Democrats though can be liers, crooks, rapists, murderers and racists and still be elected. In fact that could be the definition of a politician.
EU is the start of the New World Order. Before the UK voted for Brexit, 40% of its laws were from Brussels in Europe; and their fishing waters were overrun by fishermen as far away as Italy. The UK fisherman could not make a living as their water was decimated of fish by all the countries fishing off their shores. Because of all the immigrates that wanted higher welfare, the UK ports of entry and airports look like Pakistan and have for a long time. Sharia Law is not compatible with the Constitutions of democratic countries.
Right now Muslins are in charge of “Human Rights” in the UN. Are you laughing now? Not if you are a woman; unless you are like to be treated like a slave and submissive.
Newt!!!!
Am disappointed if this is true. Would rather have Newt!!!!
You people preferring Newt just shows how little you know about what is going on in your own country…..so sad. He is a globalist and would be a very poor choice since their agenda is not good for humanity as a whole. They want to turn the US into a communist police state and it is almost there,….and you want him to finish the job. I can’t believe how stupid the average American is about their own politics. Its obvious they all watch and believe the lies on mainstream TV and radio. How bloody sad to see such ignorance.
Not to worry perhaps we can get Molly to give us a lecture full of assertions and void of facts or detail. If that fails she can tell us how stupid we are and for her closing argument she can call us idiots. Geez, I love a well thought out argument.
I was for Newt, but Pence is a VERY good choice. He’s 15 years younger than Newt, smart, a good speaker, solidly conservative and popular with evangelicals. He’s also a realist, who knows we aren’t alone in the world and do have to consider other countries’ positions as well as our own — NOT GIVE IN TO THEM, but be prepared to DISCUSS options.
There’s another reason, too. This situation affects mainly Indiana, but is potentially FATAL for the Republican ticket. Republican Sen. Dan Coats of Ind. is retiring, which puts his seat at risk. A VERY popular former Dem. Senator, Evan Bayh, decided just YESTERDAY to run.
Bayh can very likely WIN the Senate race (and Republicans NEED that seat to hold control of the Senate. Worse, Bayh could turn out enough new or infrequent voters to CARRY INDIANA FOR CLINTON, not just for himself.
IF REPUBLICANS LOSE INDIANA’s ELECTORAL VOTES, TRUMP COULD VERY WELL LOSE THE ELECTION. So Pence MIGHT be VERY important to achieving VICTORY.
If the choice is: WIN with PENCE or LOSE with GINGRICH, which would you choose?
Well, you could have had Newt — and maybe LOST the election — or Pence, and very likely WIN. Pence is a VERY good choice, not least because of a situation affecting mainly Indiana, but potentially FATAL for the Republican ticket.

You joke!
Most hated politician in USA!!
WHO IS the “most hated politician in the USA”? I’d HOPE it might be HILLARY!
I agree, Newt would have been the BEST choice for VP. I am so disappointed as I have said in other posts, that he wasn’t chosen. I also would have loved to watch him KILL Hillary in the debates. He can debate ANYONE and destroy them!!!
I agree. I was hoping for newt but he has A LOT of baggage
I’m a Newt fan, too. But we must not allow it to pass over us that Trump has decades of experience in recruiting, vetting, and hiring. This selection wasn’t off the top of his head. It was after careful deliberation, investigation, and counseling that it was made. Therefore, I’m solidly behind his choice because he has forgotten more about this than I will ever know.
So am I – this may seal the deal for him…..anything but Hillary
Very much agree with you. Wish those Clintons would go back to Arkansas!
Great choice. I hope he announces Newt as chief of staff and Chris Christie as AG during the convention.
I agree with you, that is a strong line up!
I agree that is a strong line up. I hope his cabinet will also include Dr. Ben Carson and Mike Huckabee.
He should include those two
And Allen West, Carole.
I totally agree ….great line up !
An excellent decision by Trump. Makes me feel more comfortable about Trump.
Me too–or Me Three!!!
Probably neither – Drumpf doesn’t like LOSERS.
Great Team!
Cabinet can’t be announced until AFTER Trump has WON the election. It’s illegal to do it before then — the idea is candidates shouldn’t be able to trade promises of big jobs (or little ones) for endorsements or help in the campaign. My guess is Carson would be best for Surgeon General or Director of the National Institutes of Health, where his medical background would be useful. Huckabee? I don’t know. Interior, maybe. Or Agriculture. Great guy, but he doesn’t have heavy-duty experience in Washington.
Agree! I read he might make Trey Gowdy AG! That would be great! The only thing about Pence is he is very ‘milk toast’. I know Trump is the big personality, but in considering the next in line to be president, I don’t see in Pence. Then again, I don’t know who would be better out of his choices.
I fill like that is a bad choice on running mates. I was going to vote for you. I am not sure know. Please select someone else.
I probably will not vote any body. I do not want vote for Hillary either. She a crook!
Tamara, not voting is a vote for hit-lary.
PLEASE VOTE TAMARA, BUT NOT FOR HILLARY OR SANDERS!
another words will stay home and let hillary win? vote but not for hillary or sanders vote for johnson if you want to vote. write in gilligan but vote!
If you don’t vote at all….you really do vote for Hillary.
I totally agree. I told my husband that today. Pence will help with voters. Christie was an outstanding federal prosecutor in NJ. Newt would make an excellent chief of staff.
I’m also predicting Ben Carson as either Surgeon General or Secretary of Health and Human Services.
We must be on the same page, I told my Hubby the same thing this morning, Newt will have a place in Trumps Cabinet
Oh, gee whiz and golly! We must run this election your way !
Ya’ll are so smart and always right!
(Puke)!!
Gosh, I )hope NOT! White House Chief of Staff or Counselor to the President (The latter would be best because CHief of Staff gets bogged down with paperwork; Counselor can “advise” on pretty much anything.)
Cabinet officers actually have VERY limited influence, and only on whatever issues fall in their portfolios. They usually only SEE the President once a week, often just for a Cabiet meeting. They RARELY have opportunity to offer private, independent advice. (The reason so many don’t STAY very long is that when they figure this out, they get frustrated and quit. Gingrich KNOWS it already, probably wouldn’t TAKE a Cabinet job except maybe Defense.)
Trump will get us back to where we belong after suffering for 7-1/2 years with a lying, cheating, dishonest Federal administration.
The elite rulers of the world are not going to let Trump be president. almost certainly zero buma will be dictator.
There probably will not be an election. Everything is falling in to place for one world government, slavery of the masses and mass genocide. the demonrats goals are identical to that of the soon coming anti-Christ. they are paving the way for him, setting things up for him. he is almost certainly alive on planet earth and about 30 years old. Prepare for chaos.
7 1/2 years????? how about the last 100 years excluding Kennedy whom they killed.
God you people are stupid. Bushes, Clinton, all criminals that took your country down the shit pipe.
I agree. And I want to see Ted Cruz nominated (and approved) as the new Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Rule by Law, Not by Men.
Maybe, but diplomacy is NOT his long suit. Better as White House Chief of Staff or, as he sees himself, as a senior “COUNSELOR TO THE PRESIDENT” (duties as assigned; this is a very flexible position). Possibly even Secretary of Defense. He knows the issues & arms/weapons thoroughly, but he did NOT serve in the armed forces (he did grow up as an Army brat). That’s actually a PLUS; Sec/Defs are NOT SUPPOSED to have military background — they represent CIVILIAN CONTROL of the military.
OR, since Speakers of the House do NOT HAVE TO BE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS (ok, there’s never been one who wasn’t, but it’s NOT a requirement), Newt might want his old job back. Then Paul Ryan could go back to being Chairman of Ways and Means, doing TAX REFORM (which is what he loves best).
That’s IF WE DON’T LOSE THE HOUSE, of course.
Sorry, but you’d have to convince Chief Justice John Roberts to resign VERY early. He has the job AS LONG AS HE WANTS IT, until death if that’s his wish (and he’s only 61). He CANNOT be fired. (Doesn’t ANYONE read the Constitution anymore?)
Also, Cruz would have a LOT of trouble getting confirmed as even an Associate Justice, much less Chief. He’s NOT considered to have a “judicial temperament.” That may or may not be fair, or accurate, but it’s what people in the Senate THINK of him, and it’d make it tough for him to get past the confirmation barrier. Maybe in a few years if he develops a calmer style. Or maybe he’s better being “Mr. Constitution” in the Senate — the body has NEEDED someone in that role again for a long time. Keeps the whole gang of 100 on track.
Not me, Ted Cruz is a bad loser and can be bought.
Not me, Ted Cruz is a bad loser and can be bought. Not me. Cruz has not supported Trump St all. He is a sore loser and can be bought.
Also, John Roberts (Current Chief Justice) isn’t going anywhere. Supreme Court appointments are for life, or until a justice DECIDES to retire. They’d have to be caught in the act of committing MURDER to get impeached. So there’s NO VACANCY for Chief Justice and not likely to be for maybe 20 years (Roberts s only 62). Hence, Cruz is NOT likely to get that job, certainly ot under President Trump.
If Trump names this lineup and then let them do their job (if he delegates) Cathy’s lineup will bea keeper.
Oh, like Drumpf’s strong suit is to delegate. That’s not what egomaniacs do.
Rudolf Giuliani for Homeland Security.
Sounds good, IF Trump will LISTEN to him. Giuliani is apt to be more hawkish on homeland security than Trump seems to want.
Giuliani might be happier (and better) as Attorney General, because THAT job provides INDEPENDENT power — he can take people to court if HE thinks he should. and the president can’t stop him. Other Cabinet officers need presidential OK to do ANYTHING.
Ben Carson is perfect for either of those positions, Pence will be a great VP, he will balance out Trump, keep him calm.
I do like Ben Carson, but he can’t be Attorney general because HE’S NOT A LAWYER. And Homeland Security (is that the other job your meant?) isn’t really up his alley. He’d be MUCH better as SURGEON GENERAL or Director of the National Institutes of Health, where his medical experience would be useful. If that’s not who you meant, my apologies: it’s sometimes hard to figure out which post responds to which! 🙂
There isn’t any Surgeon General of the U.S. anymore.
It sounds like none of you know that Sanders isn’t in the race anymore as he gave it to Hillary!
If he will it is a powerhouse unstoppable in my opinion!
Agree with all of the posts.. excellent choice on all of these ….
“Ditto ” like a Dream Team of Political Pesonalities.”
I don’t want to rain on your parade, but there is NOTHING in this campaign year that makes Trump “unstoppable.” This is going to be a VERY close election, and much as you and I (and almost everyone here) may hate her, Hillary is NOT going to be easy to BEAT. For one thing, she’s raised funds to OUTSPEND Trump by ABOUT TEN TO ONE, and for some reason Trump doesn’t seem to CARE. (If he’s planning to write on big check, he’d better DO it, and SOON!) Further, the Obama machine — now working for Hillary — is FULLY prepared to STEAL this election by sending illegal immigrants in with phony IDs to cast votes that WILL be counted, or, if all else fails, going back to the old JFK-LBJ technique and having people vote IN THE NAMES OF REGISTERED VOTERS WHO HAD RECENTLY DIED. And as usual, the GOP is NOT prepared to fight back. So DO NOT get it into your head that Trump has a LOCK on this thing, NO MATTER WHO HIS RUNNING MATE MAY BE. There’s a HIGH probability TRUMP WILL LOSE, regardless of what HE may think (or say). Given his refusal to raise or spend money, I’m not even sure he WANTS to win — Trump and the Clintons ARE old friends, after all
The best thing a candidate for President can do (TO GET ELECTED, and that IS the real objective) is to pick a VP candidate WHO DID NOT SUPPORT HIM IN THE PRIMARIES — either an opponent or someone who supported an opponent.
It’s called BRINGING THE PARTY TOGETHER, and if you don’t do it, you LOSE in November.
Think: if you pick a VP candidate who’s ALREADY on your side, presumably most of his friends and supporters are ALSO already on your side. So WHAT DO YOU GAIN? NOTHING! But if you pick someone who either ran against you or supported another candidate, you bring in not only that person but MOST, IF NOT ALL, OF THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORTED HIM (or her). That gives you MORE support than you had before. Which you NEED to WIN in November!
Pence is a VERY good choice, not least because of a situation affecting mainly Indiana, but potentially FATAL for the Republican ticket. Republican Sen. Dan Coats of Ind. is retiring, which puts his seat at risk. A VERY popular former Dem. Senator, Evan Bayh, decided just YESTERDAY to run. My fear is that Donald Trump(who has been very friendly with the Clintons and had a meeting with Bill before he decided to run) is trying to help Hillary get elected by creating himself as a street corner bully at times. That is why he is getting listed with a strong unfavorable rating. Hillary is too but she will find votes somewhere legal or not to win. Is Donald Trump really trying to make a strong likeable candidate? Is he for Hillary?
Right on point, Newt for cospotus! Wise adviser!
I can see Newt as Secretary of State.
Newt Would be perfect for S. Stare. As well as the others mentioned earlier. What a fine line up of caring folks!
John Bolton for Secretary Of State
THERE IS NO POSITION OF CO-PRESIDENT AND THE CHIEF OF STAFF IS NOT, repeat: NOT, EQUIVALENT. The Constitution gives us ONE President and ONE Vice President. The White House staff, including Chief of Staff, SUPPORT the President but have NO executive POWER.
It’s the DEMOCRATS who always want to mess around with the CONSTITUTION to fit their own priorities (like Bill Clinton appointing Hillary to be his “health care czar” in 1993). LET’S NOT LET REPUBLICANS GET INTO THE SAME VERY BAD HABIT.

Christie is a major RINO, be careful about that. Pence seems like a great choice, however.
I live n NJ. Chris Christies is a TOTAL RINO. He is pro-manadated vaccines, an has a terrible record on
environment and supported Obamacare. He is NOT a Conservative and a terrible choice.
ps Sorry about the heat of the moment typos. Christie is in favor of mandated vaccination, NOT a Conservative
position. Please look at the voting records of ALL of Trump’s potential choices.
Trey Gowdy would make a way better AG pick than Christie.
Apparently he’s not being CHOSEN for ANYTHING. He MIGHT be considered for Attorney General — WHICH CANNOT BE EITHER PROMISED OR ANNOUNCED UNTIL TRUMP IS ACTUALLY ELECTED * — but there are TWO big guns ahead of Christie in line for THAT job, Rudy Giuliani and Trey Gowdy. MUCH more likely one of THEM will be tapped, if indeed Trump gets to appoint ANYBODY (he has to WIN first).
* Law forbids a candidate (or anyone else) from OFFERING or ANNOUNCING any appointments of Cabinet officers of White House staff UNTIL HE HAS BEEN ELECTED (and the election certified. If you remember back to 2000, Bush couldn’t even BEGIN assembling staff until almost CHRISTMAS, after Electoral College certified his election — which didn’t happen until the SUPREME COURT had called the Florida “recount” to a halt.
Of course, nobody can stop a candidate or not-yet-certified president-elect from DECIDING who he wants in what jobs, but he CAN’T OFFER the jobs or ANNOUNCE APPOINTMENTS. And Loretta Lynch would LOVE to tie President-elect Trump in legal knots if he fudged on on the letter of THAT law.
Trey Gowdy WOULD make a great AG, but we still need him doing what he is doing presently … congressional watchdog… for at least one more term.
I agree Melissa. I can see that clear from Georgia. Christie is a flip flipper as well as a RHINOand cannot be trusted,
I just read that he believes that Vaccinations are an important public health protection, but that parents should have a choice.
That would really make one heck of a white house and you know Christie would prosecute Hillary. The only thing that could save her is if Obama pardoned her and as of now there is no charges and nothing to pardon. We may just get our country back. God Bless America and his will be done.

It’s an oddity of the presidential pardon law, but IT ISN’T NECESSARY for a person to have been CHARGED with ANYTHING, much less tried and convicted, before a presidential pardon is issued. The ONE time the power has been used by one president for another, Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon for “any offenses” connected to Watergate before the Justice Dept. OR Congressional Watergate panel EVEN DECIDED THAT NIXON HAD BROKEN ANY LAW AT ALL (clearly there had been a coverup, but it was NOT clear to what extent the PRESIDENT has actually done ANYTHING illegal. Nevertheless, Ford issued a full pardon to Nixon – JUST IN CASE. No charges were EVER filed. (Ironically, Hillary Rodham (later Clinton) served as a junior prosecutor on that Senate panel.)
Agree 101%
It’s AGAINST FEDERAL LAW to offer staff or Cabinet jobs to ANYONE before one is actually the President-elect — in other words, before the election. The idea is that if you’re NOT President-elect yet, the Cabinet or staff job is NOT YOURS TO OFFER. So Trump BETTER NOT offer those positions, or announce his picks for those positions, at the convention, or he’ll spend the whole damn campaign fighting off a federal prosecutor — and Loretta Lynch won’t go as easy on HIM as she did on Hillary!
What about Hillery suggesting that Lynch could keep her job as AG if she were elected? Oh, I forgot, she is above the law!
I wanted Nute
NEWT?
I did too, but Pence is a VERY good choice — 15 years younger (Trump & Gingrich would BOTH be oldest national candidates ever), smart, conservative, good speaker, good debater, knows Washington (12 years in Congress) as well as state govt.
Moreover, there’s a situation affecting mainly Indiana, but potentially FATAL for the Republican ticket, and PENCE (but NOT Newt) could help us overcome it.
Republican Sen. Dan Coats of Ind. is retiring, which puts his seat at risk. A VERY popular former Dem. Senator, Evan Bayh, decided just YESTERDAY to run. He can very likely WIN the Senate race (and Republicans NEED that seat to hold control of the Senate.

Much as I like Newt, if I have to choose between WINNING with PENCE or LOSING with NEWT, I know which I’d prefer. 🙂
Yes!!!!
I was routing for Newt. but Pence will have the calmer demeanor to satisfy some staunch conservatives that are NOT for the nominee. Love the other choices you mentioned. The Lt. General that was on his list could be a good co.
for Secretary of Defense.
Great line up!
anyone who will put Clinton’s and Obama behind bars for crimes against the state will be the ideal AG.
I agree. I would also name Lt. Gen Flynn as National Security Adviser.
That might be a good pick. At least as Natl. Security Advisor his views on abortion (or any other domestic or social issue) wouldn’t matter very much!
My thought as we’ll
Christie may be in line for Attorney General, but he’s in line BEHIND Rudy Giuliani (unless he wants Homeland Security) and Trey Gowdy. They’re both much bigger guns. But since Cabinet officers rarely serve more than 2 years (it’s exhausting, and most of them aren’t kids anymore), Christie might get the job AFTER his term as governor ends. Or not. I think Trump likes him personally, but realizes he might not be top-tier material.
Besides, let it be kept in mind that Trump CANNOT OFFER ANY CABINET OR WHITE HOUSE STAFF JOB, or ANNOUNCE WHO HE WANTS IN ANY OF THOSE JOBS, UNTIL HE HAS ACTUALLY BEEN ELECTED. It’s the LAW! (The idea was to keep candidates from trading promises of jobs for support in the campaign.) And if Trump even WHISPERS an offer before he’s President-elect (IF), Loretta Lynch will come down on him like a ton of bricks.
We don’t want rino christie
Chief of Staff is a PAPERWORK job. He makes the trains run on time, so to speak, but he’s SO busy with paperwork he can’t do much to exert influence.
Newt Gingrich is WAY above that. Possibly create a position as COUNSELOR TO THE PRESIDENT that would let him stick his oar in the water WHEREVER he thought it would help. He’d also make a dynamite Secretary of Defense (not State: that’s a job for teacup pushers. The Sec/Def actually RUNS the Pentagon)
I was supporting Newt, too, but Pence is a VERY good choice, not least because of a situation affecting mainly Indiana, but potentially FATAL for the Republican ticket. Worse, Bayh could turn out enough new or infrequent voters to CARRY INDIANA FOR CLINTON, not just for himself. IF HE LOSES INDIANA’s ELECTORAL VOTES, TRUMP COULD VERY WELL LOSE THE ELECTION. So Pence MIGHT be VERY important to achieving VICTORY.
NOT to announce during convention — it’d be ILLEGAL. Candidaes are forbidden by federal law from offering positions or announcing future appointments UNTIL THEY’VE ACTUALLY BEEN ELECTED. The idea is that candidates shouldn’t be able to trade promises of big (or eve not so big) jobs for support in the campaign. (The VP choice is excepted because the VP candidate HAS to be nominated at the same convention as the Presidential candidate, so he HAS to be announced.)
that would be a great move, make Christy over justice he said he would go after Hillery and Obama
I thought it might have been Newt but Pence has a good reputation as a person who can unite the party. Very much needed at this time to get Trump elected.
I totally agree. Of the three choices i saw remaining available, i believe that Pence is the best!
idiot
Your the idiot!
Nice point Demonut!
My, what an intelligent (NOT) addition to the conversation. Name-calling is SO informative. IF YOU HAVE AN ACTUAL OPINION, STATE IT! Calling someone else an “idiot” only suggests it is YOU who are the idiot because you really have NOTHING TO SAY
Nicely stated. So true.
I agree with wolf 1000
cool I’m good with it as well he has a hell of a staff
I have sat and wrung my hands for a couple of months now, and all of a sudden it is all lining up as a perfect ticket. If Trump will put the above mentioned people in the correct order it will be an unstoppable, progressive, and absolutely great line up for The United States of America. We as a people should get behind them, support them and do any thing else that we can in order to take our country back up the ladder. ” WE CAN DO IT “. ” God Bless America “, again.
People like that drive me crazy! I’ll argue with anyone, without losing my temper, but when someone just charges in and calls someone a name, I feel like sending them back to the THIRD GRADE. Thanks for the support!
BTW, do YOU have any idea why SOME of these posts do NOT have a “Reply” button at the bottom? Couple of times I’d have liked to respond but couldn’t figure out how (or if I even COULD). Thanks!
was kind of looking at Newt he has so much pull and has been around Washington for a very long time
I was for Newt, too, but Pence makes a lot of sense & may solve a strategic problem concerning Indiana. We NEED to carry Indiana, and it has been thrown into the “doubtful” column by a recent shift in the political landscape. Republican Senator Dan Coats is retiring. Congressman Todd Young is running for his seat, but he’s not a lock. And former DEMOCRAT Senator Evan Bayh just stepped into the race: he’s VERY popular, and could probably win the Coats seat (GOP CANNOT afford to lose that Senate seat!). Also, Bayh is SO well liked he might turn out a BIG Democrat vote and take the state out of the Republican column for PRESIDENT. THAT could cost us the election. BUT…the thought is that PENCE might be a big enough vote-getter in Indiana to avoid losing the state.
There are other ways Trump can make use of Newt Gingrich’s
I think Trump is making a mistake if he picks Pence. In my opinion it should be Newt Gingrich. He is more Trump changes his mind before the announcement.
Guy Biller…I share with Trump months ago that Newt would be the best VP, that I knew for years, & he knows how too get things done…
Well, apparently he didn’t listen. I liked Newt, too, but Pence is a VERY good choice, not least because of a situation affecting mainly Indiana, but potentially FATAL for the Republican ticket.

If I have to choose between winning with Pence on the ticket, delivering Indiana, and LOSING with Gingrich, who isn’t Hoosier and might not have much heft in the Hoosier state — well, I’d rather WIN. I think GINGRICH felt the same way.
It would be very difficult to pick a better man.
It would be very difficult to pick a better man.
Personally I thought that Newt would be a good choice, but Pence is good too.
SO AM I , I THINK THAT IS A VERY GOOD PICK ..
Yay! No Newt
Question is can Hillary be beat with this ticket?
Wish it was Condelesa Rice
Condoleeza (that’s how she spells it: don’t blame ME!) Rice has said, and said, and SAID that she HAS NO INTEREST AT ALL in ANY political position. Period. She COULD have run for PRESIDENT but said NO. Ditto VP. Ditto anything else. No appointive job, either, she says. Sounds like she MEANS it.
That’s why her name never came up.
Newt WILL be there, either as Chief of Staff of Counselor to the President, or possibly as Secretary of State or Defense. If you don’t like him, TOUGH. He’s the smartest and most experienced Republican available to Trump (even including Trump). SOMEONE in this prospective administration has to be able to steer the ship of state, because the way things are going, it’s gonna RUN AGROUND before November.
Dr. Buck Morton says, ” Conservative Christians (of whom I am One) are elated at Trump’s selection of the Indiana Governor to be his running mate. They are a WINNING COMBINATION for which we praise our Lord.”
Watch all the Demonuts go crazy! They are stuck with that lying crooked Hillary and whoever she picks won’t help.
I hope you’re right, but that “lying crooked Hillary” knows a thing or two (or her hubby does) about winning, or if desperate, STEALING, elections. The Obama technique is to pull in hundreds of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and vote them in phony names (or the names of people they know won’t be voting) — and scream “RACISM!” if anyone challenges them. Then SOME of their thugs will INTIMIDATE WHITE VOTERS and drive them AWAY from the polls. If THAT doesn’t work, they fall back on the Kennedy-Johnson technique and “vote the tombstones”: bringing in people to vote in the names of OTHER people who had RECENTLY DIED but whose names were still on the voting registration lists (this is how JFK won in 1960. His wealthy father laid out big bucks to “campaign workers” to go around to graveyards in Chicago and copy down names of men/women who had died in past year. THEY ALL VOTED (yeah, right: a MIRACLE!) Papa Joe Kennedy said “Be csreful what you spend! I’ll be DAMNED if I’ll pay for a LANDSLIDE.” (Kennedy won by less than ONE PERCENT).
So, EVEN IF WE HAVE THE VOTES, make no assumptions about what that “lying, cheating Hillary” and her (probably Black or Hispanic) running mate can do,
What is the matter with the American psyche ??? I can’t believe the banality the many favorable comments about Trump… God help the whole world if you are all stupid enough to vote that vacuous nincompoop President !!
We are to, great choice he has a great reputation and a very smart man
I also feel this is a good choice. Pence for VP.- Excellent….Newt for Secretary of State – Excellent, Chris Christie, AG – Excellent.
Trump has picked an excellent lineup…..
Very Good Choice I would have possibly chosen another but he has to make that decion based on his best available choices I’m behind him all the way obviously more than NRC
I assume you mean HRC?
I hope for the best. I don’t know Pence; and I suspect that many others don’t either. Most of Trump’s supporters really wanted Gingrich. The fact that Trump is not listening to his base bothers me somewhat. We’ll see what happens.
I like Newt Gingrich & he’d have been my first choice, but Pence is a VERY good choice. He’s conservative, has close ties with the evanngelical community, very smart, good speaker & debater. Lower-key than Gingrich, but with TRUMP we don’t really need more high-test energy.
Also, Pence is good because of a situation affecting mainly Indiana, but potentially FATAL for the Republican ticket.

AMEN!!! I also agree with this VP pick. Very smart.
So am I—- anyone but Hillary. This may seal the deal for TRUMP this guy carries a lot of clout
Reading many Comments and see that many are happy with this choice I can also say well done. Now go for this women,(what is here name) I think crocked Hillarious and get here out of our Face.Today I was looking at the Ken Catalino’s Cartoon on Hillarious and started laughing because they are precious and thru.Go to KenCatalino(http//townhall.com/political.orPolitical Cartoons.
I think he just blew the election.. He should have chosen Newt.. Newt has the expertise to get his legislation passed through the mine field in Congress.. The guy form Indiana is a newbie and will get lost the first time he has a serious problem with Congress or anyone else. I doubt that Pence will be able to stand up against any of the Democrats in any kind of serious debate.. Since Pence was a Cruz to lose supporter, I doubt he will be able to provide the loyalty that Trump will need to stay the course.. Bad choice, bad choice.. I hope everyone will be ready for the Arkansas “Bonnie & Clyde” team, a.k.a. Bill & Hillary, as they get a second chance to PLUNDER the resources of our country for their own gain, while dragging our Country into a socialist, Marxist, anarchy.
No, Drumpf blew the election when he first opened his mouth. And each time thereafter. No VP choice can prevent Drumpf from going down in flames in the general election.
This “guy from Indiana” is NO NEWBIE He spent TWELVE YEARS in the House of Representatives and is a first-rate legislative technician — VERY good at getting legislation through Congress. He can stand up to ANYONE in Congress, or another governor, or in the Cabinet — the only one he WON’T stand up to (because he’s not SUPPOSED to) is TRUMP. He’s also a first-rate debater and speaker. JUST BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW HIM DOESN’T MEAN ANY OF YOUR ASSUMPTIONS ARE TRUE.
The best thing a candidate for President can do (TO GET ELECTED, and that IS the real objective) is to pick a VP candidate WHO DID NOT SUPPORT HIM IN THE PRIMARIES — either an opponent or someone who supported an opponent. So picking a former Cruz backer is a GOOD thing, not stupid at all.

Or would you rather LOSE with Gingrich because he didn’t pull in the Hoosier state?
Last night it was announced that the VP cadidate would be announced on Friday at 11 AM. I was looking foward to his announcing it and prayed it would be Gingrich. Very disappointed. Hope this is the horn news jumping the gun, and it miss fired.
THIS IS RAMPANT SPECULATION. TRUMP HAS NOT MADE IT OFFICIAL. MAYBE HE WILL BE CHOSEN,MAYBE NOT
Good choice, The Presidency is in the BAGGGG.
I am still hoping Trump will pick Newt and surprise everyone who says Pence will be the pick. Newt is brilliant and would be the best person to help Trump in every asset of his Presidency!!! With the possible line-up Trump has in mind, it will be unstoppable and we will have a great start to ” making America great again”
Maybe but i whould have picked Allen Wesr.
Very happy with this choice!! ????
My pick ALLEN WEST
I hate to rain on everyone’s parade but most people did not have a clue who Pence was until a couple of days ago.
If Trump chooses him I think he loses the election because people want someone they feel they can trust and they just do not know this man. Even says Trump just noticed him a few days ago. Pence may or may not make a good VP but unfortunately I do not think he will ever know, like I said he picks him he will lose the election. My vote is for Newt Gingrich and he will have Trumps back no matter what. The rest I agree with.
Trump should have picked Newt. I like Mike Pence but he will cave in to the news media and he couldn’t carry Newt’s pencil’s
Dano
Newt was my first choice, too, but I think Pence will do just fine. He’s younger, bright, a good speaker, a solid conservative with strong links with evangelicals, knows the issues, has both national (12 years in Congress) and state experience. AND he may solve some strategic problems with our chances of carrying Indiana (the Senate race has become highly uncertain just in the last 2 days, with the re-emergence of a popular former Dem Senator, Evan Bayh, as a candidate. He’s likely to generate a BIG turnout and could easily TAKE that seat AWAY from the Republicans (we NEED it to keep control of Senate); also, Bayh COULD put the state in the Democrat column in November — and THAT could spell VICTORY FOR HILLARY.
Pence comes across as a very well polished respected gentleman. He is the best choice out of the three choices. If a anything ever happens to Mr Trump, l don’t think the American public would be disappointed in Mr. Pence.
I am actually pretty upset with his choice. This guy is exactly what we don’t need again in the White House. He is not a liberty lover, he is exactly opposite of what Trump has been selling us on. I have given a lot of money to the Trump campaign and worked a lot of hours supporting him. I’m actually pissed…
Do your research and you will find out that Pense is a globalist. He supported every free trade deal imaginable… Does everyone need proof… Bad Choice here Mr. Trump. I feel used here again. If this is the case, I selling everything lock stock and barrel… Gone…
Oh, come on! Pence is NOT a globalist, not that there’s necessarily anything BAD about noticing that WE ARE NOT THE ONLY COUNTRY ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH and that there are basically two ways of dealing with all the others: NEGOTIATE or GO TO WAR. (Keep in mind that over a dozen nations today have NUKES and even more have chemical or biological weapons. We’re not talking Gulf War I or even the Iraq war: we’re talking World War III.)
Pence is a Midwestern governor and former Congressman who never even sat on a committee concerned with international affairs. If HE’s a globalist SO IS EVERY HUMAN ALIVE TODAY, which actually is close to the truth. WHAT ELSE IS THERE? There are 187 nations on the face of the earth; are you planning to IGNORE them ALL? ALL THE TIME?
By the way, look what just happened with one of those AWFUL international bodies we so much LOVE TO HATE: OUR SIDE OF THE ARGUMENT WON! China has been gobbling up bits of the South China Sea and turning reefs into islands, which it has been ARMING. This is extremely DANGEROUS to everyone in the area. The PHILIPPINES (nearby) appealed to an international panel you never heard of to decide whether China owned those man-made islands AND THE PANEL RULED FOR THE PHILIPPINES AND AGAINST CHINA. In effect, that means they ruled for US, too, as we were on the Philippines side. SO INTERNATIONAL BODIES CAN DO GOOD FOR THE U.S.A. — IF we know how to USE them. But IDIOTS like YOU would make it IMPOSSIBLE . We can’t WIN if we don’t RECOGNIZE those panels and LET THEM HEAR THE CASE, and if we don’t like globalism we WON’T let them — and WE’LL LOSE. On EVERYTHING. And one day we’ll wake up and find THE CHINESE ARMY marching down the main streets of our cities and towns. Wanna learn Mandarin?
Same, America needs to reconnect good morals.
should have picked Newt
My top choice would have been Newt because he’d be so helpful with Congress. But maybe this was the only way to stop the Dumpers who are BTW such a disgrace to their party and only shine light on their own corruption and their alignment with the globalist agenda. I think this choice will be tricky in regards to the backlash that will happen in terms of conservative values vs the extreme left values. Hopefully they’ll know how to deal with that. But I guess it’s not Friday yet, so……
NONSENSE! Pence is a globalist ONLY in the sense that EVERYONE ALIVE TODAY who has EVER LOOKED AT A MAP realizes that there are NEARLY 200 COUNTRIES in the world and we HAVE to deal with MOST of them at least SOMETIMES. That doesn’t mean we have to GIVE IN to any of them on some kind of globalist agenda — although if you OWN ANYTHING that was MADE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY (and you DO) YOU TOO ARE A GLOBALIST. Do you want to travel? You’re a GLOBALIST! Have you studied (or do you want to study) another language to get ahead in your job or get a better one? You’re a GLOBALIST!
Sure, we trade with other nations — you think your computer was MADE in California? Your Smart-Phone? Your CLOTHES? The IDEA is to get the BEST DEALS POSSIBLE, not to sit home and watch EVERYBODY ELSE GETTING RICH. Even TRUMP has said he wants SMART TRADE, not NO TRASDE.
And sometimes an international body — one of those awful things we HATE — does the right thing! Just the other day a commission you never HEARD of ruled AGAINST CHINA’S attempts to BUILD NEW ISLANDS in the South China sea on seabed that belonged to the PHILIPPINES. Why should WE care? Well, first, China was turning those islands into MILITARY BASES from which they could lob NUCLEAR MISSILES at, say, CALIFORNIA. Or ALASKA (all that OIL). Then too, China’s artificial islands were interfering with OUR SHIPPING ROUTES, which meant that it COST more and took longer for US to ship anything, or receive anything through Asia. So WE are VERY happy that the Philppines won that case — AND THANKFUL TO THAT UNKNOWN INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION THAT GAVE THEM — AND US — THE WIN.
It’s a small world, and it’s GETTING smaller. The faster communications and travel GET, the more IMPOSSIBLE it is NOT to be a globalist. But I’ve watched Pence for the 12 years he was in Congress, and HE NEVER PUT ANYBODY ELSE’S INTERESTS AHEAD OF OURS. That’s the RIGHT kind of “globalist.”
He’s a very Smart man, he know how to play his cards right! congrats!
Any thing that HELP Beat H. Clinton!!!!
Go Pence — we are with you.
JT
Rather have Newt !
Nice choice, I love the idea he is rooted in serving God. We need a good christian beside Donald Trump. maybe he can help level the playing field too.
Lynda must live here on the comments she posts almost every other post. She should get a life besides just posting here on the comments.
Well it will be dumb and dumber running for President and VP. For one I am glad that he is out of Indiana (Pence). He cost us revenue from the bill he pass last year, companies was going to expand there business but decided not to because of the law he pass. He wanted to get into women bodies. Carrier said they were leaving Pence did not react fast enough. He push is religious belief on the citizen of Indiana. And now Trump is has asked him to be his VP, let alone Trump is a racist, bigot, he call women names and said blood coming out of her whatever. Different groups does not like him, Hispanics, Muslim, Africa Americans, l don’t like him either, he is not Presidential material.
So in saying that, I hope both looses the election, that mean Pence cannot run for office again for at least a year which is ok for me. So Dumb and Dumber will not win the Presidency and VP. They deserve themselves.
SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD CHOICE TO ME !
Not happy because he already favors letting in refugees from the middle east without properly vetting them. Must investigate him for possible ties to donors who want this. I am tired of the media telling me that some politician is a conservative, when it later turns out is a RINO. Just look at McConnell and Paul Ryan; they are both RINOs and the media constantly tells us they are conservatives.
They got a big job ahead. Pray for them
I am soooo disappointed in Trumps choice of Pence. I think he should have picked Newt. There is NO ONE as smart and knowledgeable as Newt. He is a brilliant man who could have helped Trump in every facet of the presidency! Newt will have a place in Trumps cabinet. I hope it is a position where he can advise Trump, because Newt is spot on when it comes to knowing how to help Trump make this country great, and safe again. Newt has been vetted for years and everybody knows him and know what he thinks and HOW he thinks, but no one I talk to knows hardly anything about Pence. Besides, Juliani, Christie, Carson, etc. I hope Trump has a place for Alan West, and others like him, and he should bring back John Bolton who is also so knowledgeable. With the proper line up, I believe Trump will be strong and will beat Hillary. I pray he does, because if she gets in, we are DONE!!!
No pense..please…
Trump guy…
He supported….cuze….if you pick ..pence …you ll be ….toast…,pense has drank….the bad guy cool aid….from KW…928-231-0411….
..
.
makes me think Trump may be smarter than some think he is
Good for Trump, Good for Gov Pense, Good for religious people, and Good For America! Hallelujah!
I couldn’t agree more!
Yes for sure a good day. I think
he may have picked most likely with least the Dems can dig up dirt on besides who most closely aligned with on political issues. I think they were all pretty good choices in their own way. I hope he finds a position for all of them alongside him and aliens himself with a strong polical defense of those who will stand with him, as well as those who know how to handle issues with democrat attacks
I am happy with the choice. But Newt is exceptional at whatever he puts his mind and hand to. So I expect a significant role for him. Any women in the cabinet? Cruz in Supreme Court!!
Trump CANNOT LEGALLY NAME ANYONE to his Cabinet or White House staff before he’s actually ELECTED. (The idea behind the law is that candidates shouldn’t be able to trade the promise of a job for campaign support.)
But there will almost CERTAINLY be women (probably several) in the Cabinet. There HAVE been in EVERY president’s cabinet since the 1950s (yes, that’s right, EISENHOWER!). They will NOT include Ivanka, because that’d be illegal, too (another law), but there will be at least 3-4-5 or even more.
Cruz would be a brilliant Supreme Court justice, BUT he is thought not to have a “judicial temperament” (very even tempered, thoughtful, not apt to be swayed by anything EXCEPT the case in front of him). Maybe unfair, but that’s what people think. If he can overcome that, fine. If not, he COULD have trouble getting confirmed to the Court..
Cruz would be good for the Supreme Court, and I would like to see Jeanine Pirro for the court too. The problem with them is that they could probably not be able to get through the process to be put on the court because the left will never approve either of them, because they don’t want anyone who would truly fallow our Constitution!!! They would like more like, the senile Ginsgerg, The biased Sotomeyor, and the rest of the Obama favorites!! They make their decisions based on their political beliefs instead of the rule of law.
NOW LET GET HIM IN THE W.H. AND START KICKING SOME ASSES.
I was hoping for Newt.
I hope Newt has a very prominent role in the administration. He has great ideas, is a great debater, tells it like it is.
Yes, I agree with you. Newt Gingrich has much to offer Trump’s administration and is a fine orator with much experience behind him.
Your hope my hope, but Newt will have a very important roll in the Trump administration.
Donald will have Newt in there in an important role for sure……Newt was saying how Pence would be a great choice besides himself……..GO TRUMP and stomp Hill-Hog into humiliation!
You hit the nail on the head, we are 100% with Trump, sure don’t want Killary she has enough blood of the American people on her hands time to make her pay up for all the families she has destroyed
Me, too. Newt is strong and would have creamed whoever Hillary chooses for VP in the debates. + he has so much institutional and historical knowledge in addition to being smart.
Me too. Newt!
I’m okay with it, even though I would have preferred Newt.
I to would have preferred Newt. Pence is to mild manner for me. I was hoping for someone with a little more fire in their gut. I will do whatever I can to help this ticket. The SCOTUS is at stake.
Great choice! Go Trump!!!
I don’t know. Don’t forget that Trump said he likes surprises.
And what about the fact he doesn’t like “leaks”….who leaked and is it real?
It didn’t exactly leak. First, Trump’s media guy announced there would be an announcement on Friday at 11 AM. Then media types started checking out airline reservations, hotel reservations, where various possible candidates ARE & where they will be tomorrow. Pence was SEEN in NYC late yesterday, which suggested he was going to see Trump.
Then Pence had a meeting yesterday with his Lieutenant Governor, a long discussion which was obviously on the order of “get ready to take over here!” That was on the Lt.Gov’s schedule, which is public information in Indiana.
Then there was the coincidence of timing that Pence was REQUIRED by Indiana law either to file as a candidate for reelection as GOVERNOR or TO WITHDRAW as a candidate — NO LATER THAN TOMORROW. The fact he had waited until the last minute suggested he might be expecting to do something else, and of course that’s TRUE.
This is a game the media play: to dig out ANY information that might indicate what’s going on in the candidate’s head (or on his calendar). I really can REMEMBER only one case where “The Name” REMAINED a secret this close to the date an announcement became necessary — George H.W. Bush’s choice of Dan Quayle in 1988 — and THAT got him such BAD publicity nobody since has even TRIED to keep it a big secret to the last minute.
Candidates may WANT to keep their choice a secret, but the media want very badly to FIND OUT that name, and they’re NOT happy if they really can’t find out what’s going on.
Yes, Trump DOES like secrets, and he still MIGHT pull off a fast one, but it’s probably too late now. The cat’s out of the bag.
Good choice.
Bad choice! Pence needed notes to talk about Trump, no passion, fire, not a good choice
Pence really wanted Cruz, YUCK!

He can very likely WIN the Senate race (and Republicans NEED that seat to hold control of the Senate.
Newt Gingrich would be much better…
Newt would be a much better debater than Pence.
Have you ever heard Pence DEBATE? I have! He’s pretty damned GOOD. I liked Newt, too, but Pence is a VERY good choice, not least because of a situation affecting mainly Indiana, but potentially FATAL for the Republican ticket.

Should be ok… however I would have preferred Newt Gingrich….
Newt seems to have a lot of baggage and had a few enemies in Washington. He can be a vital part of a new administration and I am sure he will be.

Newt can’t deiiver that — he’s not a Hoosier!
Excelente!! buenísimo !! Great!!
Disappointed myself, saw polls had 48,000+ votes list possible Trump VP candidates, Newt had over 24,000 votes, no one came anywhere near Newt and I mean ANYWHERE NEAR Newt
I don’t know enough about Pence to comment. I just hope he is a staunch Conservative and that Trump will listen to his advice on key issues; he doesn’t need to be an empty suit in the Administration. I don’t know what Democrats can find about him to launch a hate campaign but Gingrich had a lot of baggage from his tenure as House Speaker and the Democrats would have rehashed all the old charges against him. However Trump will no doubt find a place for him in the Administration if Trump is elected.
I believe Trump will pick the best one for the job, just remember the SEC of STATE usually has more to offer than the VP. Now having said that I think Trump will use Gingrich for SECRETARY of STATE.
When Trump is elected.
Good, solid choice. No skeletons in the closet. Not controversial.
I don’t know Gov. Pence. I will firmly state that I adore Newt and hope he has a prominent place as a close daily advisor to Mr. Trump if he is not chosen.
it is a good day for the U.S.A.. Pres. Donald Trump picked the right man.
Add Ted Cruz to a high office also and we will get America back to what our forefathers envisioned it!
Pleease no on Ted Cruz. He was bought to take what he could from Trump. I would never trust him.
I think this team is perfect!
No Cruz. Put Cruz on you lose my vote. N o n w o
The only person anyone has to “put on” before the election is the VICE PRESIDENTIAL candidate, and we now know (about 99% certain) that will be Mike Pence, Governor of Indiana. There won’t be ANY MORE announcements of who might be in the Administration — because there’s a LAW forbidding candidates from OFFERING or ANNOUNCING other appointments until he’s ACTUALLY BEEN ELECTED. (The idea is that if you’re NOT president-elect yet, YOU HAVE NO AUTHORITY TO OFFER CABINET OR STAFF JOBS TO ANYONE. Period. (You can figure out who you want in which job, but NOT make offers. And Loretta Lynch would LOVE to drag Trump into court for ANY hint he’d violated THAT law.)
Ted Cruz HAS a “high office.” It’s called the United States Senate. He could stay there pretty much as long as he wants, and be VERY effective.
I preferred Newt Gingrich, but Pence is a good choice.
I favored Newt, too, but agree Pence is a good choice. In addition to obvious factors (he’s conservative, well tied in with evangelicals, smart, good speaker, etc), he brings one other BIG advantage: He should help us carry Indiana,
Normally that might be a given, but the Hoosier state was thrown into the “questionable” column the other day when a popular former Dem Senator, Evan Bayh, got into the race for an open Senate seat. This could hurt for TWO reasons: 1) we NEED that Senate seat to keep the Senate in Republican hands; and 2) the popular Bayh could bring out enough additional Democrat votes to put the state in Clinton’s column — and its ELECTORAL votes COULD decide the election. It’s thought that Pence can bring out enough Republican votes in his home state to overcome those risks. Let’s hope!
it is a good day for the U.S.A.. Pres. Donald Trump picked the right man.
Good Choice, now Trump needs to become more presidential and outline his plans on the economy, international affairs, healthcare etc.
That’d be REALLY nice. IF he HAS any plans.
Although I campaigned for Newt in his presidential bid and know he is brilliant, I think Pence is a very good choice for all the reasons that have been mentioned, including getting Cruz supporters. I also believe that Newt will be a very good senior adviser when it comes to debating Crooked Hillary. Kathryn Huddleston, Ph.D.
Newt please Mr Trump
You’re a little late — the word is out from a dozen knowledgeable sources that it’s going to be Indiana Governor Mike Pence. Really a very good choice (though I liked Gingrich, too). Pence is younger, attractive, smart, good speaker, well tied in with evangelical community (with which Trump needs help BADLY). Moreover, the Hoosier state was thrown into the “questionable” column the other day when a popular former Dem Senator, Evan Bayh, got into the race for an open Senate seat. Let’s hope!
There are other ways Newt Gingrich can be an important part of the Trump team, so don’t give up on your guy.
Trump could pick his daughter it does’nt matter he’s going to get his ASS kicked by Hillary in the biggest LAnDSLIDE since Reagan!!!!!!!
If you would like We could put a lot of money on that, I could use the money.
You must have a window in your belly, in order to see anything from where your head’s at.
WOW!! That is the best response I’ve seen in a long time! Gonna remember that one!! Pence…good choice!! Was my pick for VP! I was a Cruz supporter in the primary!
When It is over you’ll wonder what hit the dems
Well Lets talk about Hillary> Terrible Job as Secretary of State; Her emails although no criminal charges were forthcoming, FBI did state her release of emails was :Dangerously and carelessly handled, Once again we see Democrats desperately going for a named, once famed individual, who offers a once w3ell known name hoping that would win the power they seek, Time to retire the Clinton name once and for all.Vince DiPentima PAlm BAy Fl,
You went to the ” Hillary liar’s school ” because your comments prove it !!!!
OK BOB: Get back on your MEDS!
You hold that thought then get back to me in November
WHAT COUNTY ARE YOU FROM.?
Watch out for KILLARY…..she has no regard for human life….especially men and babies and blacks. For her to be such an advocate of Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned UNParenthood), who wanted to eliminate all blacks, that should be clear what she thinks of minorities; this BS she’s spewing now is just for show.
In case some of you may have forgotten:
As a 27 year old staff attorney for the House Judiciary Committee during the Watergate investigation, Hillary Clinton was fired by her supervisor, lifelong Democrat Jerry Zeifman. When asked why Clinton was fired, Zeifman said in an interview, “because she was a liar. She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer, she conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, rules of the Committee, and the rules of confidentiality.”
I think they will make a great team
There are advantages in picking a VP candidate that most people DON’T know very well (or at all). It’s known as “becoming a household word.”
A less-well-known candidate doesn’t have a BAD image to get rid of, and the campaign can “shape” his public identity however they want. Not to say it’ll be vastly different from what he really IS like, but the emphasis, strong points may be what the campaign WANTS, not what the candidate’s WIFE might think of when SHE thinks about him.
I knew Pence when he was in the House (a decade ending 4 years ago when he ran for Governor). He’s a serious, steady guy with good judgment, a good (but maybe not brilliant – but then nobody IS these days) speaker, SOLID conservative with strong ties to the evangelical/family issue community, but also strong on economic issues.
AND he should help us carry Indiana, which was thrown into the “questionable” column the other day when a popular former Dem Senator, Evan Bayh, got into the race for an open Senate seat. This could hurt for TWO reasons: 1) we NEED that Senate seat to keep the Senate in Republican hands; and 2) the popular Bayh could bring out enough additional Democrat votes to put the state in Clinton’s column — and its ELECTORAL votes COULD decide the election.
So that’s why Mike Pence seems to have won the VP sweepstakes.
Only if it is rigged! Wait until the debates and see what happens. If she wins, it is over for all of us, even you Demonuts!
I needed that laugh. Now please go have a sip of koolade and lay down, you are delusional. Only way she can win is if she pulls an Obama and dead people vote or the rest follow the slogan, vote eArly and vote often! She maybe in a landslide dear, but she is the one to get buried. People are tired of the career politicians, the Clintons and her socialist ideas. I never thought I would vote for Trump but I will go down swinging against that lying no soul, conniving psychopathic witch.
YEA, we know know Trump is going to win by a landslide over that Treasonous Felon Cackling Witch.
Only a stupid scumbag communist would vote for the likes of her.
I think he will be ok.. however I would have preferred Newt Gingrich…
Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is an exellent pick. eb
I was hoping that he’d pick Newt, I have problems with Pence ever since he backed down from the lgbtq’s response to the religious freedom signing !
I hope it’s anyone but Trump!
what are YOU talking about? The conversation here is about Mr. Trump< the next president's choice for VP
Pay attention Arlene!!!
what are YOU talking about? The conversation here is about Mr. Trump< the next president's choice for VP
Pay attention Arlene!!!
M> ARLENE HANSEN, would zero buma be ok?
Sounds Good….. I initially thought Huckabee to help with the Mid-West but there’s some “liberal” type baggage with that choice. This should work out…..
SIMPLY,,OUSTANDING!!!!!!
Very intelligent Trump choice.
Pence looks more presidential than trump, but that is fine to have a good, experienced helper.fed
Happy with Trumps choice. They will be a great team.
I am betting you are wrong but
We shall see within the next
Few hours
It would have been beneficial to have selected Ben Carson; that would have gotten votes from a couple of areas that Trump needs to carry in order to win. Pence looks like another big government pick; sure that sells well with the party. It does not sell nearly as well with the disenfranchised voters across this nation that are fed up with business as usual.
John, while I think Trump’s choice is a good one, I also definitely agree with you. Ben Carson would also have been an excellent choice. Hoping D.Trump would consider him for another opening on his cabinet.
Deanna Jimosse
I think Carson will be Trumps Surgeon General. Gen Flynn would be a great replacement Secretary of Defense or CIA Director. Gov Christie, Attorney General or Supreme Court nominee. Rudy, Director of Homeland Security. There thats my X-mas wish list. Would like to see Former Secretary of State, Rice and former United Nations Ambassador Bolten both come out of retirement and serve on Trump’s team too. Amen
I think Carson would have been a solid pick too, but I heard Carson say he was not interested in the VP position many times. Maybe surgeon general?
Dr. Ben Carson as Surgeon General is great, Newt Gingrich, Allen Keyes both on the Supreme Court, Mike Huckabee as Secretary of State, Chris Christie on the Supreme Court, Oliver North as Secretary of Defense, Joni Ernst as Secretary of the Air Force, General Petreas who was unjustly screwed over as Secretary of the Army, retired Marine Corps General Mattis as Secretary of the Navy/Marine Corps, Oren Hatch as Attorney General, Trey Gowdy as FBI director, Sarah Palin as Secretary of the Interior, Carly Fiorina as Secretary of the Treasurey, Dan Quayle as Secretary of Commerce, the President & CEO of the Florida East Coast railroad as Secretary of Transportation, Pat Buchanan as White House Press Secretary or as head of the Federal Communications Commission, Condelisa Rice as
White Hous Chief of Staff. Indiana Governor Pence who served in the House of Represenatives & is the Governor of a state that is very conservative will be a valuable Vice Figurehead, he knows the ins & outs of the House of Represenatives, and knows some of the Conservative Senators in the Senate, I wanted Rick Perry, but the choice was made, my vote is still for Donald J. Trump. Rick Perry as head of the Federal Aviattion Administration would be good since he was an Air Force pilot and knows aviation.
SIMPLY,,OUSTANDING!!!!!!
Great choice!! I’m sure Newt will have a role in Trump’s administration in some way!!!
I love Newt and was pulling for him. But I trust Donald will make the best choice to accomplish his priorities. If not Newt as VP, he will be placed in an important strategic position. GO TRUMP!!!
Pence is a great choice. Better than Newt.
I think if’s a great choice…
Though I feel Newt would have been a great choice, Pence has an impressive resume himself. Trump for this family!!!
Way to Trump, Perfict choice !!!
Gives a well-rounded team for the White House to lead in the most difficult period in the USA.
Congratulations to the Republican Party. Mr Trump has chosen the best possible VP candidate for the 2016 race. He rounds out the team he will be a great asset to the Party and the American people. There were other outstanding names on the list, but I think they have other qualifications that will be assets in a Cabinet position. Congratulation Donald Trump and the Republican Party. Proud to be American and Republican!
I wanted Newt. I think he would have been great. Pence is ok but not excited.
Donald Trump, excellent choice! Thumbs up!
Deanna Jimosse
This is a very good choice especially with an open senate seat. It also helps with the adjoining states (Ohio in particular, since kasich won’t endorse Trump) The selection leaves the position of chief of staff to Newt Gingrich.
Donald Trump, excellent choice! Thumbs up!
Deanna Jimosse
Newt was a good first vette, but old line and in place for cabinet. Pence is good, and Bobby Knight is still “The General”.
Excellent choice. This will put Trump in the Whitehouse.
At least he can no longer be governor in Indiana! That’s a major blessing~ ~ but God forbid that he ever ascends to the Presidency. That man could set the country back 100 years!
Newt will be Secry of State
Christie will be AG
Giuliani will be Director of Homeland Security
Ben Carson will be Secry of Education
Ted Cruz will be Supreme Court Justice nominee
BE CAREFULL OF WHAT YOU WISH FOR, WE HAVE NO CONTROL OF A VICE PRESIDENTAL CANDIDATE. ONLY AT THE BALLOT BOX FOR THE PAIR.
He should have covered all the bases. He should have picked a black gay woman. — Gee I crack me up.
There really is no other person he could pick. Newt is too old. Christi is too controversial (Thanks to Mr. O). The rest are too restrictive to his policies. GO TRUMP. Beat the Scank they have voted for the Democrats. I can not even repeat her name. Kind of like they can not say Radical Islam.
I am happy with Mike Pense, but hope Trump will have Newt in his staff.
I am hoping Trump will have a place for Ben Carson on his staff.
Deanna Jimosse
Deanna-
The only thing i have against Carson is that he favors MANDATORY vaccinations. ONLY if he backs off of using UNCONSTITUTIONAL FORCE to MAKE people get injected with God-knows-what, should he have any position of trust in the USG.
Newt may be very smart but he does have baggage from the past–three divorces? Not good. The right spot for him is Chief of Staff, the liaison between the White House and Congress to get the President’s legislation passed. Newt certainly knows his way around there and would be a tremendous help to a Trump administration.
Oh Good Happy with Mr. Trump’s choice.
I like Newt better but I understand.
I preferred Newt but Pense sounds like a person I would like to know. Never heard of him before this.
Well Trump that’s your first big political mistake—you just picked a politician that caves in if enough pressure is put on him and he is —–make no mistake about it—-a member of the GOP establishment—-i am very much reconsidering my backing for you !
Considering?????? You were never behind Trump to begin with!
Considering?????? You were never behind Trump to begin with!
Pence god choice.
He could not have made a better choice…This shows the type of wisdom that Trump has for the selection of his staff and others as he embarks upon making good on making America Great Again! Good job Mr. Trump! I could not have written this even a few days ago…Now, I’m fully on board and pray that millions of others will see the “light” as well.
Anyone but Hillary and Bernie.
And speaking of ….. if you receive the Angry Patriot, check this morning’s email.
I am leery. I believe he should have picked a Christian General. Not the General he had in mind, though.
Good choice glad to get rid of him in Indiana!
Bad choice. Think the rhinos are pushing for him. He’s not expected to win his reelection in Indianna he was a Cruz supporter so why do any of you think he will help this election. Am really hoping this is just more misleading information.
I fail to see how the selection of a Conservative would calm the RINO establishment GOP?
I would have preferred Trey Gaudy but it is a good choice
Sounds good to me! Donald could pick Mickey mouse and he will still beat the criminal killery. Btw….Bob says….anyone with half an IQ will NOT be voting for Killery. Speaks volumes about you. Trump will crush the criminal unless she has already figured out how to rig the election. There’s nothing honest about that woman and all of the educated America knows it. She is a traitor to this country. Go Donald! Make America great again!!
PRAISE GOD – Thank You Jesus and Bless You Holy Spirit for leading Trump away from Ginrich and to a man that can make a difference for the citizenry besides being another Pimping Clinton
Newt Gingrich (not Ginrich) is a wonderful, godly Christian man, so you don’t know what you’re talking about. BUT, as long as KILLARY isn’t elected, we should be thankful to God!
Jane-
Newt Gingrich (not Ginrich) is a wonderful, godly Christian man
…who apparently has deceived you quite deeply.
Ever hear of the Bohemian Grove? They worship a Canaanite god there, Molech/Moloch, and he’s been a member for a long, loooong time.
Ever hear of the CFR? It’s comprised of representatives of the extremely wealthy, who plot and plan for the NWOOWG. The slimy Newt is a member of that, too.
As Speaker, Newt was brought up on ethics charges – 84 of them – and the one he was convicted of cost him 300 THOUSAND bux.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg with this hooded-eyed creep…with a silver tongue.
Needed Newt to take down the Witch.
Newt is my choice, however I think that Pence may be OK, but too mild.
Newt knows the Clinton faults and they will throw everything but the kitchen sink at Newt, but he has the fire power to nail them back.
Hope he will be using Newt. And christie in some other depts. Was hoping for Newt. Sure he has his reasons…..
I think Newt Gringrich would have been a better choice, he is well known and very knowledgeable regarding most matters in Govt. and international affairs, whereby hardly anyone knows or has heard of Mr. Pence?
I hope for the best for Donald Trump and his new administration and most of all for America! We must do our best and always keep Hope aflame!
Sorry everyone but Newt would have been the correct choice
Those two pieces of horse manure deserve each other. Two imbeciles that conspire to STEAL the presidency from an American ,(not a\n immigrant anchor baby like trump, the MOTHER OF ALL LIARS.0, and helped diarrhea mouth Trump sneak in.
As long as KILLARY isn’t elected, I’m good!
An American? Trump was born in this country, HE IS AN AMERICAN. ARE YOU?????????????
Hilda Von something, please add your name to the list of people who will leave America if Trump wins. Why don’t you just leave now and take your hatred with you!
It’s a very good start. Hopefully all his decisions as president will be the same.
I would rather have had him select Newt…..but as long as he selects/selected a conservative, I’m OK with it. Must be 100% Pro-life!
I think it’s as good choice,I see a person who has the Christian connectios, the morals we need and Ive not seen or heard anything negative anoit him. He will be helpful to Trump, he has his feet firmly planted on the ground in decision making areas. I hope America will wake up.
PENCE AN THE BEST REP,EVER TRUMP IN A FEW SHORT MONTHS ILL CALL HIM PRESINDENT TRUMP AN VICE PENCE WHAT A GOOD MATCH UP I LOVE WEARING BALL CAPS IVE GOT SO VERY MANY REPLYS FROM PEOPLE ON THE STREETS THAT HAVE SEEN YOUR HAT,PLUS DON IM SO PROUD TO BE WEARING IT YOU BOTH HAVE MY VOTE,I LIVE SOUTH OF BOSTON MASS IN FOXBORO,GOOD LUCK MR TRUMP AN MR PENCE,
BOB SWEET.
Trump is the strong one, out to make America Great again, so he make the right decision.I am sure he has a right place for Christie.
Go Trump
I am very happy with Mr. Trump’s choice.
MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. !!!
Great choice of a man……
I am absolutely on board with this choice. Both I and my husband support Mr. Trump all the way.Lets all work hard together and get America back .
This is a great choice, I think Mike will be almost as good as Newt!!
TRUMP JUST PICKED A POWERHOUSE AND MADE HIS CHANCES OF PRESIDENCY EVEN BETTER.
GOT MY VOTE.
TRUMP WILL MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.
Poor Choice, very poor selection on Trump’s part. He brings nothing to the ticket, he is not even liked in his own state, chances are he would not have won re-election. Trump would have won Indiana regardless of Pence. He should have selected Newt or Sessions someone who could have helped him around congress/government. Extremely disappointed. He may have just kissed the presidency goodbye. What the hell is he thinking??? Does not say too much about the people around Trump to go along with this selection!!! I think you better get use to saying Mrs (scumbag) President
Hope so – Need a real conservative with some party & executive experience
I was hoping that Newt would get the call, but Pence was a Cruz guy/Yuck!
Nobody knows Pence and I’m talking about the general public, those who are the only hope of Trump winning! Newt would have been a far better choice. Hie baggage has long ago been forgotten and paid for. He would have brought to the table the qualities of persuasion, knowledge and sophistication, to balance Trump’s strengths. His debate ability was greatly needed in the upcoming bouts with crooked Hillary. His experience and insights also will be sorely missed. Newt is not a sideline player, but someone the public knows, likes and respects. Tough choice but the wrong one in my estimation. He almost picked the winning ticket.
Mase
I was hoping that Newt would get the call, but Pence was a Cruz guy/Yuck!, Pauly G.
You made a good choice Trump. Sure beats what they came up with.. It’s time to put this great country back up there on top where it belongs. ALL the best, Bart K.
Not sure about pence, Don’t know that much about him. I would of preferred Alan west as VP. Keeping fingers crossed and praying he wins, as this country is in serious trouble, and trump is the only one who will put his back to the wall and stand up to Congress and the Senate and fight for what is best for America and Americans.
If true, this may appease the children of the corn who giggled at Trump at Liberty University.
Jim
Great pick! Just get Newt in there somewhere, please!
A winning combo for sure!
Smart decision to pick Governor Pence however woman, Hispanic, or black person would have helped for no other reason but optics.
I preferred Newt.
Good choice, as long as he gives Gingrich and Christy a post in his new administration. I would have preferred Gingrich due to his experience, but I support his choice.
I preferred Newt, but Pence could deliver some important Midwest states like Ohio and Michigan.
I wanted The Donald to run 9 yrs ago. Glad he answered the Call. Trump is going to turn this country around . Pence should be good
Good choice. Now we need all patriotic Americans to give these great guys our strongest support!
Great Choice! He can now pick Gingrich to be Chief of Staff, much like President Reagan did with Howard Baker. Newt would be outstanding in that role. Gov. Christie could become Attorney General, or a Supreme Court nominee. Things are shaping up for a very strong, and effective Cabinet, and White House Staff, under a Trump Presidency. I was a strong supporter of President Reagan, both in His Presidency, and the Reagan Library, and hosted a fund-raiser party at my house in Tampa for the Republican Hillsborough County, Tampa, Fl. Delegation (about 100 people) for the Campaign of George HW Bush, when he was elected President in 1988.I am excited about what leadership, and strength Donald Trump will bring to our Country.
First of all, I’d vote for isis before that scumbag, corrupt pathetic clinton. And that is not said as a joke. Oh, and by the way.
All of you trump supporter ready to pull your head out yet? Another big govenment looney bin guy running with a nyc conman, running against a treasonist pos, and people are happy about these choices? Idiots. We had a great choice in Cruz that would have went by the Constitution which is something NONE of these clowns have ever done.
ANYONE is better than Killary…..we have to vote Conservative in order to bring back some sense of normalcy in this country. This racist Prez we have now is only ramping up more racism, and Killary will be more of the same…bank on it.
TRUMPS CHOICE:EXCELLENT CHOICE.MAKES NEWT SECRETARY OF STATE AND CHRISTIE HEAD OF CRIME AGENCY.POWERFUL TEAM.HOPEFULLY HE WILL PROSECUTE BOTH CLINTON AND OBAMA.
I think it’s a good choice. i also think he should get Gingrich as his chief of staff, Christie as his transitional person, the military man he was vetting as head of the armed service and Dr. Carson in charge of education and health.
This would be a great line up.
Should this turn out to be the final choice, I would be rather disappointed.
If Mr. Trump wants to get this right, he should choose Newt.
It’s not too late Donald!
I would like to have seen Lt. Gen Flynn in there somewhere. He would have made an excellent VP or Defense Sec.
I agree with our need for the superior advise our CONSERVATIVE Generals provide; it’s still early enough for President Trump to appoint some and I’m sure he will.
HOORAYYY! What a wonderful, perfect choice to manage and save our America – I could not be more pleased to hear this announcement. With a strong Conservative, God-serving, God-fearing, and God-knowing cabinet in our beautiful White House, our beloved country will surely be “GREAT” again.
President Trump is an anointed man of God who will be a breath of fresh air in our highest command.
I pray he keeps ALL his promises as well as negating ALL actions done over the past 8 years.
I pray he returns Prayer in schools, “Merry Christmas” in winter, and the PRIDE in our country I lost 8 years ago when darkness took it’s hold.
BUILD THE WALL.
BRING BACK THE AMERICAN FARMER.
STOP MONSANTO.
STOP CHEM TRAILS – BRING BACK OUR BLUE SKIES.
STOP MEN FROM ENTRY INTO WOMEN’S RESTROOMS.
STOP PEDOPHILES FROM THEIR ATTEMPTS TO SABOTAGE OUR YOUTH.
STOP ANY WHO WOULD ATTACK OUR 2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS.
STOP ALL THE OTHER PERVERSIONS OF “RIGHT AND GOOD” THAT ARE DESTROYING US AS A NATION.
LET GOD’S WORD BE WRITTEN ON PRESIDENT TRUMPS LETTERHEAD AND HEART, AND LET HIS WILL BE RE-INSTATED IN OUR LAND WHEREBY OUR BLESSINGS NATIONWIDE WILL BE ENJOYED ONCE AGAIN.
GOD BLESS PRESIDENT TRUMP, GOD BLESS OUR CONSERVATIVE CITIZENS, AND GOD BLESS AMERICA.
THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP FOR ANSWERING OUR COUNTRIES GRAVEST NEED: A TRULY GOOD MAN AT OUR HELM. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS AND KEEP YOU SAFE FOREVER. YOU ARE AWESOME PRESIDENT TRUMP!!!
I hope he wins because if HEll-lary wins for sure you can kiss good bye to the land of the free. We will have to work harder to support those who DONT want to work and support her. Like castro those who support her will get free stuff and those who dont will pay the penalty
very happy!~
Vote TRUMP!
Lets America GREAT AGAIN!
He should have picked Newt. If he does not pick Newt for Sec. Of Stste he will
have gone brain dead.
Trump , irregardless of any misgivings , along with his camp , would be a celebratory enlightened occassion for freeing the citizens of the establishment’s evil , corrupt , control that would be perpetuted by the criminal Hil liary’s camp …….however……..The power of the Oligarchy via varied methodologies including public opinion control through controlled media and rigged electronic voting technology ( this has been confirmed by I.T. specialists), will bring about a Hil liary victory . Think of how easy it was for her not to be indicted because of the control that the Clinton backed elitists had over the DOJ . Sadly , even if the public demands , by vote , their desire for an anti HC presidency , it will matter nary .
The “H” bitch from hell WILL BE MADE TO ANSWER FOR HER TREASON; make no mistake about it.
SHE’S AS GUILTY AS SHE IS UGLY so her day IS looming in the not-too-distant future. I feel she and her vial husband should be sent away to repay their debts to society at the same time – different “cold-fact” cells of course: no amenities, no perks. They’ve both been a travesty for our country and her citizens and neither have made the world a better place. She’s going to answer for her dark deeds.
I think that after Donald wins he should hire Hell-lary to clean his house for 600 thousand dollars. Well fair price at least she will have to work and quit giving out lectures for the same price
Hurrah !! great choice. Now put Newt as Secretary of State.
I am really disappointed, if Pence is the VP pick; if I remember, he is a PRO-CHOICE guy! And he is not “forceful” enough,
just like McClain was in the debate – was very disappointed in him also. I was really hoping for Newt! He has been around,
not just with marriages – look at trump – how many marriages has he had???? And look where he is now after coming thru
like a champ with the unbelievable no. of candidates; Trump is smart and I hope, as everyone knows, he likes to surprise!!
GO TRUMP, WE REALLY NEED YOU TO BRING BACK THE GOOD OLE USA!
I liked Newt only because he is more personable and more well known. But Pence is probably the best choice, he has no baggage like the rest. I agree Newt, Christie should be a major part of the administration GO TRUMP GO
We couldn’t agree more with you with Trump 100%
So wish it were Newt – more excitement, more brains!
I think Pence is a great choice–no baggage and a good solid performer–will help with the “rust belt” vote. I like Newt but he has a lot of baggage that the Dems would go after. Trump has already promised that Gingrich would be an important part of his administration, so I am content with that. I think Gingrich would be great as chief-of-staff, Chris Christie as AG, Ben Carson at Health and Human Services, Mike Huckabee as Secy. of Commerce, and Ted Cruz as Trump’s first appointment to the S.C. Cruz would, in my opinion, be brilliant on the S.C. (Ted’s not a particularly gifted politician but he has purportedly, a GREAT legal mind).
So wish it were Newt — more excitement, more brains!!
Great choice. Now just incarcerate hillary, and it will be a perfect day.
My father and Ann Richards are the only 2 progressive-liberal governors in Texas history. The rest have been pretend-Democrats or out-and-out fascists. Dad never feathered his private pocket at the expense of the public trust I’m writing in Jill Stein in November! Peace and Love, Sam Houston Allred
Great pick! Trump has the iron will to give Hillary”pathological liar, and crook”The smack down she so much deserves! For you liberals, anyone with a brain wouldn’t,or couldn’t,vote for Hillary Clinton unless you are a total Moron!Take your blinders off,and Vote with what little brain any of you have!Go Trump! Make America great again!!!
FANTASTIC…AMERICAS PHOENIX HAS TAKEN FLIGHT….
I’ve been justifiably touting Newt Gingrich for many, many months to be the GOP VP Standard Bearer. Conversely, I’m certainly okay too with Mike Pence as “The Donald’s” running mate. Let’s face reality, Mike is much more telegenic/photogenic than Newt, and in my estimation Newt’s appearance is one of the primary reasons why he hasn’t already been elected president. Newt, nonetheless, still should be, and will be in my estimation, an integral part of any prospective Trump Administration either as Secretary of State or Chief-of-Staff. I just wish Newt were up on that stage and skewering the Democratic VP Standard Bearer during the VP debates as only he is so very capable of doing.

I respectfully believe this is a very valid, no-nonsense response. One of the primary reasons why my striking spouse won’t ever vote for Newt is his appearance. I think millions of other American women also share my wife’s sentiments too despite the fact that I’m much more laissez-faire when it comes to appearance especially when Newt notably has such stellar credentials.
I can’t understand how any one with a brain would want to be his VP.
You’d rather stump for hillary? If so, you have my sympathy.
I T H I N K N E W T G IN G R I C H WOULD OF BEEN A B E T T E R CHOICE I KNOW TRUMP S A I D N E W T WOULD BE PART OF THE ADMINISTRATION LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS
Being a resident of the state of Indiana and having had pence as the governor for the past 4 years, I have to say I’m not happy that he was chosen to the VP. However, having said that, I think that pence was probably the best of the three candidates and I think he will balance out the ticket.
Who he surrounds himself with is paramount to winning in November, all of the aforementioned will make for a quality cabinet. To help fill in one of the most important roles, I am hopeful Trump will consider tapping Alan West on the shoulder for Secretary of Defense.
Now THAT would be a wise choice.
I never heard of him, but compared to some of the other choices, it sounds like he is
making a smart choice. Now all we need to do, is keep that lying, conniving idiot
Hillary from the White House. Maybe God will intervene with a major stroke or
something and put the Clinton family out of their misery and business once and for all.
From you lips to God’s ears . . . . . . .Sure hope it happens.
Im so glad he chose him great choice love it. Praying he makes Chris something else in his Presidential peoples choice in the White house. Go Trump go.
Very wise choice indeed!!!
Very good choice
Great choice but all of Trumps choices have been great.
Great choice but not surprised All trumps choices have been great.
So keep up the great job.
Connie Rice would have been a good choice
Pres. Trump.
VP. Pence.
Sec of state. Newt.
Chief of staff Rudy Guliani.
Attorney general Chris Christie
(Rudy and Christie can switch too)
Surgeons general Ben Carson
Sec of defense. General what’s his face
Treasury secretary Carly Fiorina
He has to put Jeff Sessions some where!
Health human services. Sarah Palin
Transportation secretary. The Rubber Duck
He has to put Mike Huckabee somewhere
Put Cruz on the supreme Court
Press secretary. Jeb Bush haha
VA administrator. John McCain haha
If you don’t agree, no one cares. Make your own list.
I would have preferred Newt, but I am sure Mr. Trump has a very special place for Newt.
I liked Newt, but I think this Pence will be a good choice for Trump, so happy with the decision.
I hope he helps Trump convince many more how much good can come from a Trump administration which will bring back Jobs, Homeland Security, Immigration reform and a stronger Military, bring down Taxes, shrink the Federal Gov’t, restore power to the States to make more decisions for themselves and shrink the repressive IRS
I would have preferred Newt, but I am sure Mr. Trump has a very special place for Newt. Mr. Trump is a person of integrity and intelligence and I am sure that his choice is a good one.
Great choice. I hope that Trump considers Michael Flynn for Defense Intelligence. Cruz would be a great cabinet member or even a Justice, as he appears very conservative and most of the elite really don’t like him.
Anyone but brown nose Christi I am not sure I will vote for President Would vote on Governors
Mayors, etc Anyone voting for Hillary belongs in a mental ward Have known and worked with FBI
agents for years and most now have no respect for Comey and our AG No wonder about 5000 people leave
the US every year with no plans to return
Would rather it be Newt Gingrich. He is very conservative and knows how to get things done. He has a lot of wisdom in dealing with people across the board. More people know Newt. Too bad!
I am believing that Mike Pence will help the ticket. He should resonate with the Bible Belt people. All of us, though, need to be praying to get Trump in and keep that lying, dishonest, crooked Hellary out.
smart move–he needs Mike Pence, as V.P.–to stand beside Trump to get this Country Straightened out–its going to be a long Road but I feel Trump and Pence will begin to get the country Strong
I knew that Trump was a very smart man and now he has proven it. He will make a great president and choose the right people to circle him. I don’t know Pence that well, but he seems to be the right man for the job. God Bless America again!!
Mr. Trump is not a satisfactory candidate for POTUS. While I am not a member of SCOTUS, I certainly agree with a certain member of SCOTUS. And I do not need to apologize! If Mr. Trump becomes POTUS, I will not move to New Zealand but will remain in these wonderful United States of America. Not because Mr. Trump made them great but because they are already great (in spite of Mr. Trump) but could use some improvements. Ask your Senators and your Representative to insist on gradual reduction of our National Debt. Very important!
For VP either Pence or Newt would’ve been great. Trey Gowdy for AG, Newt for Chief of staff….Secretary of State????
Very good choice – Not only good but very smart!!!
I’m with most of you who prefer Newt but will support Donald’s choice. A powerhouse is needed to crush Hill, an agent of Satan, and get America back on her feet. TRUMP 2016!!!
Good Choice. Not only is Pence a good choice but at his age of only 57, can go 8 years a VP then 8 more as President to continue the growth their administration will be building on with a Trump Presidency.
Go Trump and Pence, Go!!! A great team to defeat Lying, Crooked Hillary. I’m a Democrat, but I am voting for the Trump Team. There is no way my family, and our neighbors will ever vote for Lying, Crooked Hillary.
I don’t know much about Mike Pence other than what came out last summer during the religious freedom amendment brouhaha. From what I’ve read he is a solid conservative so that sounds good to me. The news leak pretty much ends the idea that he was going to do something similar to what he did during the Apprentice TV season finales.
It will be interesting to see how much of the rest of the Trump/Pence administration is unveiled between now and election day.
I guess the next big suspense item will be who Hillary chooses for her running mate. Will she choose Elizabeth Warren although Warren isn’t as accomplished of a liar as Hillary is?
Now the choice has been made I say God bless both Trump and Pence. It’s a mountain of prayers and We The People, all the undecideds, independents, and all the former Democrats who have seen the light who will bring victory and get Trump into the White House! All my energy is totally concentrated on the success of the Trump/Pence ticket!
No, No, No, I want Newt!
A very good choice, It could end the “Dump Trump,” Convention insanity and allow the party and Trump to move forward with the campaign.
Time to get out the donations…a very good ticket for those that are tired of political correctness.
Let’s just make sure Trump gets in office this November folks
I’ll wait till Trump announces. But any of his choices would be great leaders!
It would be wonderful if America could be restored to her
former greatness, but lets be rational, it is God who puts
the ones in office, and everything suggests that it is time
for the anti-Christ to come on the scene, whose goal is
one world religion, one world government and one world
economy. There has never been a time when it was more
urgent than now to cling to the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you
know Him ? That is the most important thing !!!
God puts people in office? Is he a Republican or a Democrat. Either way, I guess he voted Obama into office. Good work God.
Actually that is completely false. God did not do it. Man did it. God gave man free will and hoped that man would make the right choices. He has not. God is watching and waiting for us to turn back to him. That would be like saying God gave a child cancer. God had nothing to do with it.
Ye with so short memories: Newt was practically run out of town (DC) with all of his proclamations of contracts with America & I guess that we should not get started on Callista’s commentaries. Bring out a TV crew, and Newt cannot be shy with his mojo wit and run-on comments. Better to assign him to a high-end security think tank, especially if you want pronouncements leaked to the media to see how they fly with the American people. Same with that bastion of bluster, Chris Christy.
Look, I like Trump and I dislike Clinton worse than taxes but Trump doesn’t have a chance. We don’t need arrogant people
running the Country or the world for that matter. Trump is used to getting what he wants which he won’t get as President. The Business World is a lot different from the political world and I don’t believe compromise is in Trump’s vocabulary. He can’t get elected because most women, most African Americans, most Mexican Americans, most gays, most low income just won’t vote for him. The only way he gets in if they can hang a felony on Clinton and make it stick. If he does get in there would be a stalemate in DC that would last as long as he’s President. The sad part about it is, if Clinton is elected, the stalemate will just as strong. The only losers here are the American people. Our founding Fathers must be rolling in their graves seeing what the modern politicians have done the their once great country. I will say Trump has given us the blueprint for electing a future President. A person who can not only speak their mind but also a person who knows how to use diplomacy to unite the peoples of this Historically Great Nation. Trump pisses everyone off every time he opens his mouth.
Here are my thoughts on Trump/Pence: My mother was a Southern conservative and very diplomatic. I believe that Gov. Mike Pence would sway anyone who listens to him the way Mom did. I never saw her in a heated argument with anyone. I think Gov. Pence is a splendid pick, although I like Newt Gingrich, Dr. Ben Carson and Gov. Chris Christie.
Newt is the wise choice. The man has stayed current with all country snd government masters. He reveres our Constitution. It would be a huge mistake not to use his geniuses and loyalty to our country and the respect he has gor the office of President. Don’t sell him short he has much to offer.
If you listened to Newt last night on Fox with Hannity, he very nearly picked Pence himself pointing out that both he and Trump are “outsiders” with their independent thinking and not being bashful about saying what is on their mind. Newt explained that Pence would be a better choice because of his longstanding relationship with many mainstream congressmen, but also was the only one that openly supported the Tea Party. He is definitely a Christian and his voting record is inline with most Republicans. Good choice. Now, pick Trey Gowdy for Attorney General, Sarah Palin as Secretary of the Interior, Newt should be his Chief of Staff. I’ll stop there.
I would have preferred Newt Gingrich. I think he has so much more to bring to the table, very knowledgeable, knows how the government works, seems to know how to get things done. Wished it would have been him.
Should have picked Newt
His most important picks will be for SCOTUS vacancies. I hope Ted Cruz will be his first choice. I would have preferred Newt for VP and trust Trump will include Newt in a top position. My biggest fear is that Crooked Hillary and her team will find a way to steal the election. Read the book “Vote Fraud” by the Collier Brothers to see how the democrats have done in the past.
We all have our favorites. Mine is Huckabee, then newt. But the final choice has to be Trump’s! I trust him to make wise choices, not just vp. But his cabinet as well. TRUMP 2016. God bless and protect him and his family!
Great choice. I hope he announces Newt as chief of staff and Chris Christie as AG during the convention..
Political suicide for Pence…he and Donald will end their political careers on the same day.
I’ll stop there.
he’s a very smart Guy, he know how to play his cards right…congrats
Terrific choice!!! I also hope he uses Newt Gingrich as his attack point man!!! He will have the answers for whatever Hillary and Bill Clinton have to say, The Clinton’s will attempt to take all the credit during his presidency, Newt Gingrich had the “Contract with America” and during Bill Clinton;s last term he had to abide by it, for anything to be accomplished!!!
And this is supposed make us vote for a lying bullying liberal? Really???? What exactly about him is actually better than killer? Cause they have been buds for what 30 years? If he really wanted to beat her why didn’t he run as the lying bullying hypocrite democrat he is?
Terrific choice!!! I wish that he uses Newt Gingrich as one of his “Point men” “Attack Dog” He will have the correct answers for whatever the Clinton’s may state negatively about Trump!!! Newt can also take some credit for Bill Clinton’s last 4-years, Newt’s Contract with America is as deserving as any Clinton credit!!!!
Not the true pick for Trump’s VP.
Trump is misleading the Democrats pretending to focus on Gov. Pence (who, with Newt Gingrich) will/would be in Trump’s Presidential cabinet.
You can never predict Trump, because he is intentionally not predictable (i know, circular reasoning).
I think Trump’s pick will be Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo…. one of the two “unknown” vetted Republican politicians that are strong against amnesty of any sort, or government benefits, for illegal aliens.
My comments are expressed cautiously and truthfully and I will start with a question. Why is everyone congratulating Trump for having picked Gov. Pence for his VP when Trump actually stated he would not do so until tomorrow before the end of the day. Right now it is all conjecture, What a waste of all these wonderful comments! But I have to agree with the majority of those that replied as such “What a great choice”. I have to say that I learned a lot about Gov. Pence from all of your comments; but we need a gun ho VP, with a dynamite conservative attitude, and a happy face. I have to agree with those that claimed that Newt would have been a better choice even if the media wanted to make a big deal of his transgressions, he would have made it as a VP. But let’s not lose any sleep over this. Pick your choice for VP and hope your choice makes it. I also agree with what a lot of you pointed out, that hopefully Trump will put him in his administration in any of the positions that were mentioned, Newt was the one that put into legislation his Contract for America, by he is also very much experienced in government and international affairs. He can hit the flour running with plenty of fire power to move things around. My 2 cents worth.
I think he has made a good choice. He has the credentials necessary and I trust in Donald Trump’s choice as he got to meet with each of them. There are a couple others in his mix that would have been good also, but I am happy with his choice as long as he is.
Some comments here are losing sight of just one thing—the election! If Trump doesn’t pull a rabbit out of the hat it won’t matter if he chooses Bugs Bunny for a Vice P. Hillary is ahead in virtually every poll there is! Trump had better choose a Vice with strictly one thing in mind—beating Hillary! If he wins, here is food for thought: Trump is hated more than any would-be president I have ever seen (I am 82), raising the odds of assassination quite high, especially by foreign governments who have the most to lose. If that happened, then it makes sense what Trump is saying that he wants a man who can step into his shoes without missing a beat. But there’s more. I read somewhere that Trump mentioned that even if he wins, there is a chance he will not serve !! ??. Think about it—What if he served a year then resigned? The Vice would take over. The nature of this election tells us that anything is possible. But the main thing right now is to MAKE SURE TRUMP GETS THE VOTES TO BEAT HILLARY!! The idea of that woman becoming President is unthinkable!!!
GO TRUMP!!!!!!!!!!!
Bad choice. I hope this is fake.
If Pence can help him carry Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida, and he holds all of Romney’s 2012 states, Trump will be the next President of the United States. I cannot wait for Hillary’s concession speech on November 8th.
Mike, that would be the one speech I wouldn’t mind hearing that damned POS white trash B@&CH Hitlery Killery ROTTON Ayatollah Khoemeni Clinton say on November 8, 2016 after Donald J. Trump wins the election in a landslide, and that Hitlery Killery ROTTON Ayatollah Khoemeni not only gets trounced by Donald J. Trump, but that she trails the other parties candidates that she winds up dead last.
TRUMP-PENCE ALL THE WAY 2016.
I will be very pleased if Gov. Pence is VP. I had hoped he would run for president. Trump managed to win over all comers .He deserves the nomination. Get lost “never Trumpers”
Good choice…..Trump has chosen and will never be able to make everyone happy.
Maybe it’s time to think about the best ways to support instead of knit pikin.
I wanted Huckabee or Newt. Pence looks boring and pensive. Oh well… What ever as long as Trump wins.
I did not want Pence, but I know he is a safe bet like the teleprompters. I also know that if the election is not won
then this is all meaningless. I just hope the firewall of Trump, Newt and Christie does not sprout a leak of enthusiasm.
Pence for VP Ho-Hum ZZZZZZZZZZ
Trying to stay awake in Arizona—- I like Pirates Matees!!! (Newt)
Trump is just checking for moles & leakers. He’ll give us his real choice tomorrow. Why would Trump choose a VP who endorsed one of his rivals Ted Cruz?
This could be the reason Trump picked Pence and Gingrich
Newt Gingrich, a leading candidate to be Donald Trump’s running mate, told Republicans at a closed-door meeting earlier this year that Trump is not a conservative, speaks to voters “at the lowest level of any candidate in either party,” and could lose in a landslide if he didn’t significantly change his approach to campaigning.
Gingrich suggested Trump’s move from campaigning to governing would be challenging: “How we make the transition from, you know, language for fourth graders to real policy, I don’t know.”
His comments came in a February speech in Washington to the Republican State Leadership Committee, months before he began angling to become Trump’s vice presidential choice.
Gingrich’s remarks, captured on a previously undisclosed recording of the speech reviewed by ProPublica, mixed admiration for Trump’s success in the primaries and skepticism about whether he could prevail in a general election.
Should read Not Gingrich
Senator Jeff Sessions would be a much better choice and be of much more help in the election. I am suspicious of Pence on immigration, but maybe he has changed. I think he may bring in RINO donors and Chamber of Commerce so called conservatives. At least he supports Right to Work, but I am afraid he may also be a “right to flood the labor market with more cheap labor, put Americans out of work, and let the taxpayer pick up the tab” RINO sellout guy. Hopefully I am wrong. If I am, then the TRUMP revolution is only one man deep. Jeff Sessions would have made it two men deep.
My last comment should have been If I am NOT wrong, then the Trump revolution is only one man deep.
Mr. Trump could not have picked a better person for Vice President, This Team is exactly what the United States needs to lead the country into the future.
“according to Washington, D.C. paper Roll Call.”
This sentence is from The Horn’s article.
They’re not quoting Trump.
They’re not quoting anyone in the Trump camp.
They’re engaging in “MSU” journalism, aka “make s*** up.”
Just wait ’til tomorrow, when you’ll hear the selection from Trump, himself.
This could be celebratory cheering today that you’ll feel like a fool for doing tomorrow.
And, speaking of “roll call,” most CongressCretins don’t know whether to shout “Here!” or “Not Guilty!”
A great choice for vice-president. He has very high values and a good husband and father. Mike is a caring person. Proud that he is doing what he wanted to do and that was to climb the ladder. Good luck Mike.
No matter who Dump Trump nominated, I still would not vote for him. I’m still hoping that
at the Convention the stop Trump movement will triumph. If not, then I will have to turn
to a third party candidate.
I am fine with the pick for vp. I would have liked Jeff Sessions of Alabama also. I want Newt for the sec. of state.
I would rather had him pick someone that understands the evils of the income tax system. The income tax lobbying system is responsible for 1/2 of our lobbying. Making likely nothing good will last beyond Trump.
No doubt it was a tough decision. He had a good field to choose from. Pence appears to be a reasonable choice. It is to hoped that Trump will do as well in selecting others for key positions in his administration.
Secretary of State Ted Cruz
Secretary of the Treasury Mark Everson
Secretary of Defense Allen West
Attorney General Norman E. Lanford
Secretary of the Interior Gary R. Herbert
Secretary of Agriculture Paul Johnson
Secretary of Commerce Carolyn N. Hamilton
Secretary of labor Scott Walker
Secretary of Health & Human Services Ben Carson
Secretary of Transportation Anke Arnaup
Secretary of Energy William Andrew Voelke
Secretary of Education Cecil O. Samuelson, Jr.
Secretary of Veterans Affairs H Gene Overstreet
Secretary of Homeland Security Deanna Austin
Whit House Chief of Staff Mitt Rommney
EPA Dr. Deborah Simmons
Management & Budget Rand Paul
US Trade Representative John Kasich
Ambassador of US to UN Jeb Bush
Council of Economic Advisors L Dwight Israelsen
Small Business Administration Mark F. Burton
These are the people that would guide and direct the President in the right direction.
Wizard-
Never Cruz for any position in a Trump presidency.
First, he’s Canadian, not a US citizen…or was ’til he renounced that citizenship a bit more than 2 years ago. Who knows what country he’s a citizen of today, since he refuses to supply proof of his US citizenship.
Second, he’s been a lifelong supporter and employee of the Bush crime family, ergo a shill for the NWO/OWG.
Third, his wife works for a NWO/OWG corporation, Goldman-Sachs.
Fourth, she wrote a paper for the CFR(another NWO/OWG entity) praising the removal of America’ borders.
So yeah, if you favor a OWG run by people who are un-elected by anyone and unACCOUNTABLE TO anyone, keep supporting that slimebag traitor Cruz and the Bush family. Clintons, too. All of ’em are 5th-columnists, sappers doing their best to force America into that Satanic club.
I don’t appreciate the comment of [email protected] who uses the “R” word for Pence or Trump. As the loving parent of a person with Down syndrome, I think you should know better. RESPECT IS THE NEW “R” WORD!!! YOU ARE WAY OUT OF DATE!
You don’t sound very intelligent yourself. Look in the mirror! Are you saying we vote by how the candidate “LOOKS”? Maybe that’s how we got in this terrible situation. In my opinion both Obama and Hillary don’t look good and never did. They look worse and worse as we learn more about them. I wish I
could move to another country if Hillary wins. This country is doomed. You need to educate yourself!!! My son with Down syndrome is sweet, loving, and kind and is more intelligent about some things that most people who think they are educated. I WILL PRAY FOR YOU–YOU NEED IT!
Pambalele your an idiot obama and Biden destroyed our country get your hots someplace else
After reading a lot of comments in this section, I think a lot of people are missing the point. Anyone who has studied the voting record of Pence while serving as a Congressman, would quickly realize he stands on principles which most conservative people agree with. When he ran for governor for the state of Indiana, he refused to get into verbal arguments with his opponent. Instead, he simply said, (paraphrased): “I stand on my record.” Some people thought he should come out with a stronger position by stating where he stood. Maybe the Indiana voters really did look at his record when voting; after all he did become governor.
A lot can be said when a person sets aside his ego and lets his actions speak for him. Because a lot of independent thinkers realize that you can tell when the msm reporters are lying is when they open their mouths, it is important for former actions to be the spokesperson, (for want of a better word), for the candidates integrity. The above description of Pence is why many evangelicals and others consider Pence to be a good choice.
Gingrich is a good debater and also knows how to compromise with others. IMO though, this can be a detriment if he supports a position counter to the best interests of the U.S. citizens. The line between being a patriot or a globalist has become so indistinct that many people don’t realize just how fuzzy the distinction is.
Want a smaller government? Simply dissolve many of the regulatory bodies and let their employees fend for themselves just as the agencies have put others out of their jobs due to very restrictive guidelines designed as law but have not been voted on by elected representatives. Talk about instant karma.
should work!
Pence is a little TOO conservative for me!
