Bill O’Reilly: Shock of a lifetime coming this mid-afternoon

Former Fox News star Bill O’Reilly has received considerable pushback from viewers after he made a bold prediction — and fans will know the truth by mid-afternoon.

O’Reilly told viewers to prepare themselves for the surprise of a lifetime on Thursday.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s lawsuit against Pennslyvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia is doomed to fail, the conservative news star claimed.

Texas, which has been joined by 18 other states, has sued the four battleground states for alleged violations of the U.S. Constitution over unlawful election changes during the 2020 election. The lawsuit, an “amicus curiae” brief,  was filed directly to the United States Supreme Court on Monday.

According to Bona Law:

An amicus curiae brief is a persuasive legal document filed by a person or entity in a case … in which it is not a party but has an interest in the outcome — typically the rule of law that would be established by the court in its ruling. Amicus curiae literally means “friend of the court.” Amicus parties try to “help” the court reach its decision by offering facts, analysis, or perspective that the parties to the case have not.

The Supreme Court issued a deadline to respond to the states at 3:00 pm on Thursday.

The Trump administration on Wednesday asked the Supreme Court to join the lawsuit, which effectively challenges the current election results in the four states, most notably Pennslyvania.

Earlier this week, the justices rejected a last-minute challenge to Pennsylvania’s certification by Rep. Mike Kelly, R-P.A.

The latest suit from the Texas attorney general, Republican Ken Paxton, demands that the 62 total Electoral College votes in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin be invalidated.

That’s enough, if set aside, to swing the election to Trump. Paxton’s suit repeats a litany of allegations about mail-in ballots and voting in the four battlegrounds that Trump’s team, lead by former New York City Rudy Guliani, has been unsuccessful so far with inside lower courts.

“The states violated statutes enacted by their duly elected legislatures, thereby violating the Constitution. By ignoring both state and federal law, these states have not only tainted the integrity of their own citizens’ vote, but of Texas and every other state that held lawful elections,” said Paxton.

“Their failure to abide by the rule of law casts a dark shadow of doubt over the outcome of the entire election. We now ask that the Supreme Court step in to correct this egregious error.”

O’Reilly caused a stir on Wednesday when he told viewers that Trump and Paxton will lose their legal case.

“I understand the anger of millions of Americans that voted for Trump but we’ve reported accurately – the Supreme Court isn’t going to do anything about the Pennsylvania vote,” the former Fox News star told viewers.

After a significant blowback, O’Reilly responded on social media —

I have a simple question because I am a simple man: who is the better friend? A person who tells you the truth or a person who says what you want to hear?
