Joe Biden is desperately calling for unity in what looks like will be his eventual presidential victory.
But his followers?
They want no part of “unity.”

Instead, they’re calling for Trump’s 73 million voters to be denied jobs, sent to reeducation camps, or even face “firing squads.”
Yet Biden is playing good cop for the cameras in the same way that former President Barack Obama had tried in 2008.
Of course, Biden didn’t campaign on unifying the country: He said he ran to save “the soul of America” from Donald Trump and paid for a campaign ad comparing Trump and his followers to Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party.
And wouldn’t you know it…
CNN’s Christiane Amanpour opened her show on the anniversary of the Nazi attack on Jewish businesses known as Kristallnacht by comparing Trump to Hitler.
“This week 82 years ago,” she said, “Kristallnacht happened. It was the Nazis’ warning shot across the bow of our human civilization that led to genocide against a whole identity, and in that tower of burning books, it led to an attack on fact, knowledge, history and truth,” she said. “After four years of a modern-day assault on those same values by Donald Trump, the Biden-Harris team pledges a return to norms, including the truth.”

.@CAmanpour comparing Trump to Hitler and Kristallnacht, saying they “assault” the “same values” is obscene and outrageous. But Amanpour alone should not be condemned – it took writers, producers and executives at CNN to allow this inflammatory nonsense on the air. pic.twitter.com/uSbDo1V3Va

After major backlash from the Jewish community, Amanpour offered a half-hearted apology… but other liberals had already picked up the accusation and run with it.

ICYMI — Here's CNN International and PBS host Christiane Amanpour's so-called apology for comparing Trump not conceding to Hitler and the Nazis launching Kristallnacht.

The Nazi comparisons don’t stop there.
One of the nation’s most celebrated writers, who has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize five times, said that Trump supporters see the coronavirus pandemic “like the Holocaust to many Germans: they knew what was happening but adjusted to living with it in indifference or, in some cases, profiting from it,” tweeted elite English professor and author Joyce Carol Oates.
for many pro-T***p Americans, the pandemic is like the Holocaust to many Germans: they knew what was happening but adjusted to living with it in indifference or, in some cases, profiting from it. only if affected personally do people seem to care. https://t.co/bigFUkXMsC

On Twitter, a man named David Atkins asked, “How do you deprogram 75 million” Trump supporters? “We have to start thinking in terms of post-WWII Germany or Japan,” he said, hinting at reeducation camps.

And he’s joined by some of the most powerful people in the country. Washington Post “conservative” columnist Jennifer Rubin demanded that any Republican “making baseless allegations of (voter) fraud should never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into ‘polite’ society. We have a list.”
Any R now promoting rejection of an election or calling to not to follow the will of voters or making baseless allegations of fraud should never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into "polite" society. We have a list.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., even encouraged people to make lists of Trump supporters, and former Labor Secretary Robert Reich suggested a Truth commission to investigate Trump backers.
The Democrats’ version of unity means nothing more than revenge, and making middle-class American their scapegoats for as long as the Democrats can cling to power.
That’s the Biden “unity” plan.
