“Joe Biden and his ‘border czar’ Kamala Harris continue to brush aside the growing border crisis, instead vacationing and attending football games,” the Republican National Committee wrote in a blog post last year.
The RNC made those remarks in September 20.
They could have said the same exact thing today.
Since taking office, Biden has spent 35 percent of his presidency on vacation. Meanwhile, Biden has not visited the border a single time since taking office in January 2021.
The GOP’s official Twitter account tweeted a photo of Biden’s vacation calendar, which quickly went viral.

The calendar appears to match the unflattering reports by CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller. In the first 546 days of his presidency, Biden spent more than 200 days on vacation, Knoller reported.
Meanwhile, Biden has gone his entire presidency without visiting the border.
The Washington Post found a record of only one visit to the border in Biden’s entire career. In 2008, he held a rally in New Mexico’s Dona Ana County, along the border.
Biden won his first Senate election in 1972, and he spent 12 years as the top-ranked Democrat on the powerful Senate Foreign Affairs Committee.
Biden has only apparently visited the border once in his 49-year career in national politics.
According to records reviewed by the Post, Biden traveled to Mexico in 2001 to discuss the border crisis with local leaders… apparently without actually stopping at the actual border.
It’s no wonder that poll respondents tend to rank immigration as one of Biden’s weaker issues.
Opponents have been slamming Biden for keeping a light schedule amid a border crisis.
“Joe Biden has visited Delaware nearly 50 times since entering the Oval Office,” Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz, tweeted Wednesday. “He has yet to visit the southern border.”
