President Joe Biden has offended the views of the average American time and again during his presidency, but his latest move may have gone further than ever before: The Biden administration’s latest hire is deeply tied up with one of the most infamous rape scandals in the country.
Biden is considering handing the most powerful position in his administration to a woman who advised Hollywood producer and convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein about how to respond to multiple rape allegations.

NBC News reports that Biden is about to lose his right-hand man: White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain seems ready to step down after the midterm elections. Whether that was planned, as Biden seems to indicate, or whether the adviser is being offered up as a sacrificial lamb after congressional Republicans sweep the 2022 midterms is anyone’s guess—but NBC and other news sites have listed his likely replacement.
Her name is Anita Dunn, a professional spin doctor who has had a revolving door in the last several Democratic administrations.
But she doesn’t just advise politicians: She publicly admitted speaking to Harvey Weinstein at the peak of the “Me Too” scandal. At least 100 women have accused Weinstein of sexually harassing or raping them—some of them are famous, some left behind their dreams after being shattered by his attacks in private hotel rooms.
Of the 100 people in the mix, Anita Dunn decided Harvey Weinstein was the one who deserved her professional PR advice.
“Harvey Weinstein is such a wonderful feminist that he has feminists … (like) Anita Dunn fronting for his disgusting misogyny!” said New York Post columnist John Podhoretz.
Dunn’s outrageous actions are hardly a secret: BuzzFeed News broke the story in 2017.
To make matters worse, Weinstein did not exactly lure Dunn into his camp with promises of a Hollywood-sized payout; she volunteered.

“Dunn was not paid by Weinstein for her help, according to one of the people familiar with the matter,” according to BuzzFeed. “But she did offer her PR advice.”
Her firm released a statement trying to clear her of all responsibility—even suggesting that she actually chewed the Tinsel Town bigwig a new one.
“Anita was asked to speak with him by a friend,” according to a statement from the Democrat-aligned firm SKDK, formerly known as SKDKnickerbocker. “Harvey Weinstein and Miramax are not now and have never been clients of our firm or Anita’s.”
“If you know Anita, you can only imagine what she said to him,” the statement claimed. “Our commitment to defending women’s rights remains.”
The New York Times parroted the Democratic Party’s line about Dunn’s advice to Weinstein, who had been a major donor to Democratic candidates. He’d given around $600,000 to the party or its candidates over the years. “You should accept your fate graciously, and not seek to deny or discredit those who your behavior has affected,” Dunn allegedly told Weinstein… but there’s no way to know what she said at the super-secret, closed-door meetings. We know for a fact that she’s a PR flack, which means her job is to come up with stories that make the subject look good—and in this case, the subject is herself.
TThis is the third time Biden has personally hired Dunn. The well-connected Democrat worked with Communications Director Kate Bedingfield (Jen Psaki’s sister) on White House messaging and strategy on day one of the Biden administration in January 2021.

Biden had already made her a major force in his 2020 presidential campaign, where she had authority over many items, including a budget.
She also advised Biden’s basement campaign on personnel. Evidently, Biden thought she was a good judge of character.
Dunn left—but she didn’t leave for long. Biden brought her back earlier this year as a “special government employee” to help out with his State of the Union address.
“The move raised concern among ethics experts, who noted that the temporary nature of the assignment exempted Dunn from most White House ethics requirements,” reported the Washington Free Beacon. “For example, she did not have to file a public financial disclosure that would have revealed information about her SKDK clients and how much they were paying for her strategic advice.”
Before that, Barack Obama hired Dunn to be his White House communications director early in the Obama-Biden administration…but she left the role in 2009 after one of her outrageous comments sparked national backlash.
In a speech publicized by Glenn Beck and others, she called Chinese Communist dictator and mass murderer Mao Zedong one of her two “favorite political philosophers.”

But the Dems didn’t exactly kick her to the curb: Dunn helped Obama prepare for his 2012 debate against Mitt Romney.
Now, she’s the leading candidate to replace the chief of staff—which is the most powerful position in the presidency: The chief of staff decides who gets to meet with the president, and who doesn’t.
Considering the people Anita Dunn was willing to meet with, for free, that should scare every American.
