Betrayal! Barack Obama backstabbed in viral Jesse Jackson video

Eulogies continue to pour in after the death of the Rev. Jesse Jackson who passed away at the age of 84.

This included a powerful message from former President Barack Obama, who memorialized Jackson in a touching statement, even crediting Jackson for helping pave the way for Obama to become the first African-American president in U.S. history, saying:

“Reverend Jackson helped lead some of the most significant movements for change in human history. … Reverend Jackson also created opportunities for generations of African Americans and inspired countless more, including us. Michelle got her first glimpse of political organizing at the Jacksons’ kitchen table when she was a teenager. And in his two historic runs for president, he laid the foundation for my own campaign to the highest office in the land.”

However, in the aftermath of Jackson’s untimely passing, a 2008 video clip from Jackson has suddenly re-emerged and gone viral over extremely critics remarks Jackson had towards Obama.

During a taping of a “Fox & Friends” news show from 2008, Jackson was caught making crude off-air comments against Obama in what he thought was a private conversation.

First posted online by the blog TVNewser, Jackson is caught saying Obama was “talking down to black people,” and referred to blacks with the N-word when he said Obama was telling them “how to behave.”

Fox News never aired the comments, but the clip still exists and is now circulating wildly. Take a look —

Shortly after the clip, Jackson did issue a formal apology to the Obama team saying: “It was not a public speech or a declaration,” adding the comments “will not be helpful.”

“For any harm or hurt that this hot mic private conversation may have caused, I apologize,” he said in a written apology released earlier in the day. “My support for Senator Obama’s campaign is wide, deep and unequivocal.”

The surprising revelation that Jackson was perhaps not as close with Obama as meets the eye was equally shocking to many after President Donald Trump revealed the close relationship he had with the former civil rights leader.

President Trump who took to Truth Social to offer his condolences, pay tribute to Jackson and highlight the strong relationship the two had.

“The Reverend Jesse Jackson is Dead at 84. I knew him well, long before becoming President. He was a good man, with lots of personality, grit, and “street smarts.” He was very gregarious – Someone who truly loved people! Despite the fact that I am falsely and consistently called a Racist by the Scoundrels and Lunatics on the Radical Left, Democrats ALL, it was always my pleasure to help Jesse along the way. I provided office space for him and his Rainbow Coalition, for years, in the Trump Building at 40 Wall Street; Responded to his request for help in getting CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM passed and signed, when no other President would even try; Single handedly pushed and passed long term funding for Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs), which Jesse loved, but also, which other Presidents would not do; Responded to Jesse’s support for Opportunity Zones, the single most successful economic development package yet approved for Black business men/women, and much more. Jesse was a force of nature like few others before him. He had much to do with the Election, without acknowledgment or credit, of Barack Hussein Obama, a man who Jesse could not stand. He loved his family greatly, and to them I send my deepest sympathies and condolences. Jesse will be missed! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

But don’t just take President Trump’s word for it. Even Jackson admitted that he was close with Trump

In footage from the 1999 Rainbow PUSH Coalition conference Jackson praised Trump’s commitment to minority hiring and calling him a friend who was inclusive and supportive, even calling Trump a friend to the black community.
