Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders recently appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, where he cleverly deflected questions on his faith and refused to say he believed in God.
When host Jimmy Kimmel asked the self-described socialist, “You say you’re culturally Jewish. You don’t feel religious. Do you believe in God, and do you think that’s important to the people of the United States?” Sanders refused to answer.
Instead, Sanders turned the talk to income inequality, saying, “I am who I am and what I believe in and what my spirituality is about is that we’re all in this together. That I think it is not a good thing to believe that as human beings we can turn our backs on the suffering of other people.”
Sanders continued,“This is not Judaism. This is what Pope Francis is talking about — that we cannot worship just billionaires and the making of more and more money. Life is more than that.”
By refusing to say whether he believes in a God, did Bernie Sanders just out himself as an atheist? Watch and decide for yourself:

It’s a program for the destruction of morality and with the atheisation of mankind, the moral code of law is turned into its opposite. The killing of a child in the mother’s womb becomes a women’s right; the disposal of a severely sick person or of the dying person becomes an act of mercy; the multi-billion dollar programs to promote abortion and contraception are euphemistically declared to be part of the struggle against poverty – with the further result (and intention) that the natural resources are being preserved for the rich and are not being consummated by the armies of the poor; additionally, the self-destruction by means of drugs is now an act of self-determination, and the human trafficking with women from poor countries is only lukewarmly being combated – or, even worse, trivialized as being merely caused by themselves. The multi-billion dollar sex-and-pornography industry is nothing other than an exploitation of human beings who are already being deprived of their personal dignity. By definition, socialists, communists, and Maoists are hard core atheists. If you don’t believe that, just look around the world at all of the death and destruction they have perpetrated on millions of people today and during the last century. Bernie doesn’t recognize that millions of Americans contribute to the poor and starving on a regular basis. If Bernie thinks he will redistribute my wealth, he will have to go after the poor and the hungry to get it, since I have already donated it.
By definition you have no idea what you’re talking about. First off, the world doesn’t revolve around you. Just because you do your part there are many communities that do not. A majority of our workers are working at wages that aren’t livable. Second “death and destruction”?! Capitalism and religion has done more damage to this world and killed more people than anything to exist except dying from natural causes. Religion has killed more people than car accidents, guns, homocides, and suicide combined. Lastly, Jesus was a socialist. You need to do some fact checking before you make statements like if your socialist you follow absolutely no God.
I would just like to say this page is stupidly bias. Does it matter if he’s atheist? Since when does leading a country which has the freedom of religion, depend on the a religion? How could you possibly come up with a far fetched idea like he’s atheist? Just because he refuses to answer because he knows there are more important problems to fix in our dumbass country? Maybe he doesn’t want to label himself as someone who isn’t an advocate for all? And to all you voters out there: vote republican if you want to fuel to cooperate greed of this country. God teaches you that greed is a sin and they want to use God as a sounding board for their ideals. Last I checked God said help the needy, not screw them over. It looks like Bernie decided to answer his own question rather than answer the one which was asked. Politicians have been trying to take control of the message for a long time.
I’ve met a number of Jews who were atheists. They separated the ethnicity from the religion. I wouldn’t take this reply to mean he is an atheist. He just wanted to use his precious airtime to make the case for his agenda.

I respect atheism as I respect deism. We’re born into a fantastic world filled with wonders and delights. This leads me to believe in a wonderful higher power. Does pain and suffering and delision negate higher power?

I think sanders would be terrible for our country. As a so-called secular humanist, socialist, or whatever “ist” he falls under, he wants to create a One-world government where we all basically lose our National and ethnic identity. He wants to deprogram people into thinking we are wrong in wanting to protecting our identity, values and beliefs. For what? He wants wealth distribution for everyone excluding himself. I am actually glad a guy like him comes into the limelight, because people can see what Socialist charlatan really looks, acts and sounds like.
