Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, has quietly grown into a charming and astute young man — and now that he’s an adult, Barron reportedly has his eyes on making a splash in the political world, according to report by The Daily Mail.
The 18-year-old is reportedly a steadfast supporter of his father’s 2024 presidential campaign and has expressed interest in following in his footsteps in the Republican Party.
“Barron is handsome, tall – taller even than his father – and very knowledgeable for someone his age. He’s also far more politically interested than people realize.” a source reportedly told The Daily Mail.
“I see all the attributes of a future President if he has the appetite for it. And why not? He has the Trump genes.”
As Barron prepares to serve his first political office — as a delegate for Florida at the Republican National Convention — insiders suggest that he is becoming increasingly comfortable with the idea of taking on a more visible role, much like his older siblings like Eric and Donald, Jr.
Melania, 54, spent much of Trump’s first term in office shielding her then-young son from the media, but is reportedly ready to give her son more space to be his own man.
Recently, Barron has been engaging with high-profile conservative figures, such as Iranian-American business mogul Patrick Bet-David, who was impressed by the young Trump’s ability to host a dinner at Mar-a-Lago.
Bet-David described Barron as “sharp, funny, sarcastic, tough – not weak” and praised his good manners and humility.
Barron has also been spending time with his best friend, Bo Loudon, the 17-year-old son of TV personality Dr. Gina Loudon and former Missouri state senator John William Loudon.
The two boys are said to be inseparable and have gotten into minor mischief at Mar-a-Lago, such as a recent golf cart accident involving a Secret Service kiosk.
Born in 2006, a year after his parents’ wedding, Barron spent his early childhood in New York, attending various prestigious private schools. As a minor, he largely stayed out of the media spotlight during his father’s presidency, though he was occasionally targeted by social media trolls and liberal celebrities like Rosie O’Donnell.
Since 2021, Barron has been living in Florida and attending the exclusive Oxbridge Academy, a private school founded by billionaire William Koch.
Barron is known to have a huge interest in soccer, computers, and is bilingual, speaking both English and Slovenian, his mother’s native language, fluently. A family friend told The Daily Mail, “Like his father, he is a solid athlete with a brilliant political mind and a deep love for family and country.”
There has been speculation about Barron’s plans after graduation, with some suggesting he might study at NYU. However, sources say that the liberal college is fear to be a “most inhospitable” destination for a member of the Trump family.
As Barron’s High School graduation approaches next week, Trump recently won a petition in the Manhattan Criminal Court to pause his controversial “hush money” trial so he can attend the ceremony.
“Look for Barron to make a substantial mark on this world in his own way, in his own time. His future is very bright,” a family friend said.
