Ancient footprints found in Tanzania have revealed a surprisingly tall member of the prehuman species best known for the fossil skeleton named “Lucy.”
The 13 footprints are impressions in rock that used to be volcanic ash. From their size, researchers calculated that they were made by a male about 5-foot-5, taller than any other known member of that species. For example, he was about two feet taller than Lucy.
The footprints are about 3.7 million years old. Their discovery is described in a report released Wednesday by the journal eLife.
Researchers found them near another set of footprints, discovered in 1978, which provided the earliest clear evidence of upright walking by our ancestors.

BTW, throwing money at a problem, even one as important as juvenile cancer doesn’t mean it’s well spent or productive. Cancer will be cured, but not by money alone, it will be the development of knowledge that leads to a cure.
Cancer is easily curable. Back in the 1920’s it was discovered by Dr Otto Warburg to be anaerobic metabolism and if provided with oxygen to go through apoptosis and be eliminated. Contemporary studies and cure searches are a waste.

I have all of the proof I need to know that Jesus Christ is real, God is real, Heaven is real and Hell is real. I have absolutely no doubt that the ‘Creation Story’ happened just as it is described in my Holy Bible. Even though I don’t require today’s scientists to ‘prove’ it scientifically, I am pleased that others feel validated. Many of these scientists, who once were atheists, are now firm believers in the truths of the Bible simply because so much of what is written there has already been proven scientifically. Now THAT really is exciting!

The way I see it, is that it just reinforces the fact that all of our present religious beliefs are no longer viable. How many millions if not billions have died needlessly because of their beliefs. Just telling it like it is!!

Well said Bob, But how do fix the problem? I went to a seminar in Alaska back in 1975 The cures for cancer were here at that time, but you had to go to Canada or Mexico to get them. We need a wakeup call in this country. Refuse the Chemo and radiation its killing you anyway. and when your out of money they send you home to die.
