The Morning Consult released its quarterly rankings of the top ten governors in America on Wednesday — and liberals are disgusted.
The survey asked registered voters in each district to assess the job performance of their state’s chief executive. For the sixth quarter in a row, Republicans have come out on top!
The ten most popular governors in America are all Republican, ranging from deeply conservative states in the South to liberal states in the West and Northeast. It’s all GOP across the board.
Ironically, governors from states that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton won during the 2016 presidential election ranked at the top of the list.
#1
Charlie Baker — As the Massachusetts governor, Baker has consistently topped the list of the most popular governor. He achieved a 69 percent approval rating and is up for re-election this year with the odds in his favor.
#2
Larry Hogan — The Maryland governor was not far behind Baker with a 69 percent approval rating. He is also up for re-election this year. Hogan is only the second Republican in the last 50 years to hold office in the Old Line State.
#3
Kay Ivey — Alabama’s governor not only came in the top three for the most popular governor in the U.S., but she was also voted the most popular governor among Southern state leader. She was only two points behind Hogan with a 67 percent approval rating.
#4
Chris Sununu — He is the 82nd governor of New Hampshire and received a 61 percent approval rating. Sununu is also up for re-election this year.
#5
Dennis Daugaard — He is the 32nd governor of South Dakota and an American attorney. Daugaard is the first governor of a U.S. state to be the parent to a child who is deaf. Along with Sununu, he also received a 61 percent approval rating.
#6
Matt Mead — Politics runs in Mead’s blood as he is the grandson of former Wyoming Governor and U.S. Senator Clifford Hansen. Now, Mead serves at the 32nd Governor of Wyoming. Only one point behind Daugaard, he received a 60 percent approval rating.
#7
Brian Sandoval –The Nevada governor received a 58 percent approval rating. He is a former attorney, and now serves as the 29th Governor of Nevada.
#8
Asa Hutchinson — Only one point behind Sandoval, he received a 57 percent approval rating. He is also up for re-election this year in Arkansas.
#9
Nathan Deal — As the 82nd Governor of Georgia, he received a 56 percent approval rating.
#10
Greg Abbot – Grabbing the tenth spot, Abbot received a 56 percent approval rating. He is up for re-election this year in Texas.
This list of the top ten Governors in the nation is sure to spark outrage with Democrats.
Luckily, they can find their favorite Governor on the list of the “Bottom 10 Governors.”
Better luck next time, liberals.
