Say what you want about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. — she knows how to pander to her fellow millennials.
After stirring up a big liberal frenzy over the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, Ocasio-Cortez is now claiming she’s “bored” with the ideas.
It’s a political shot at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

“I think the whole thing is boring,” Ocasio-Cortez said, speaking at a public town hall. “He should have been impeached a long time ago. I’m over it. And so that’s how I feel about it because we’ve got work to do.”
“I’m over it”?
This is the same congresswoman who has been fighting with Pelosi and Republicans over impeachment since 2017. Now, she’s “over it.”
Just as Democrats are trying to follow her off the cliff of impeachment, she’s “bored.”

“Impeachment of this president is the short-term action we need to preserve our democracy,” she claimed.
“But if we are really going to thrive as a country, we need to make long-term investments and keep our eyes on the prize of social and economic and racial justice in the United States of America,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And that’s what this is all about.”
Her flip-flop is coming at a curious time — when Democrats most need unity.
Was Ocasio-Cortez planning to lead Pelosi and other moderate Democrats into a suicide-style mission? After all, Ocasio-Cortez knows that if Pelosi can’t deliver impeachment, her time will be up.
It was Ocasio-Cortez’ promise to rid the Democratic party of moderates in the House and Senate — it could’ve bee a set up all along.
