House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff has been claiming for over two years to have evidence of criminal misconduct that will prove President Donald Trump committed treason.
But after his Trump-Russia collusion theories were destroyed and debunked by former special counsel Robert Mueller, “Little Adam Schiff,” as the president calls him, has shifted his focus.
Schiff now has a new plot to jail the president.

During an interview Sunday morning on CBS’ “Face The Nation,” Schiff revealed his new conspiracy theory: The Department of Justice “barred” Mueller from charging Trump. According to Schiff, Democrats will move quickly to have Trump charged before the statute of limitations expires.
Schiff also thinks the president can be charged for alleged campaign finance violations even though the case was dropped last week – which resulted in no charges against Trump. (again!)
“I mean, it’s been clear, you know, from Bob Mueller that he felt and the Justice Department feels bound by this Office of Legal Counsel opinion that you can’t indict a sitting president,” Schiff said.
“But he is an essentially unindicted co-conspirator. He’s been identified as an Individual One, as the person who directed Michael Cohen to commit this fraudulent campaign scheme,” he added.

“And I assume that all this means, in terms of the Southern District of New York, is that the case will be reopened when he leaves office, providing the statute of limitations has not run, and the Justice Department will have to weigh whether to indict the former president,” Schiff continued.
He then dropped his worst bombshell: “From my point of view, if the evidence supports that, he should be indicted. But I think the Justice Department will have to seriously consider reopening the case if that’s what it requires and indicting him when he leaves office.”
Critics say Schiff is more interested in headlines than in the truth. Indeed, his entire “Plan B” has already fallen apart.

In addition to Trump-Russia collusion, Schiff’s other conspiracy theory is that Trump broke the law when he allegedly directed Michael Cohen, his former attorney, to pay adult film star Stormy Daniels $130,000 in 2016 to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
Daniels claims she had an affair with Trump in 2006. The president has vehemently denied the affair.
Daniels and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, tried challenging Trump and Cohen in court over the nondisclosure agreement — but they lost big time.
Thanks to her inept lawyer, Daniels was ordered by a court to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to Trump’s legal team.
Aside from that, Schiff’s “Plan B” came crashing down when the Southern District of New York, arguably the most liberal court in America, closed its case into Trump last week.

Schiff is now 0-2 in his attempt to bring down the president.
Mueller’s probe ended with no charges against Trump.
And the SDNY’s case into alleged campaign finance violations ended with no charges against the president.
But Schiff still appears to be suggesting that despite the president being completely cleared and vindicated, he plans to take matters into his own hands and go after Trump when he leaves office.

It’s clear Schiff is fueled by his hatred of the president, and the fact that he is publicly boasting about his goal of jailing Trump proves that Democrats still are not over the 2016 election.
Trump won – he’s president.
And no matter how many investigations, witch hunts, and congressional hearings Democrats hold, it won’t change that fact that they lost and Trump is their president.
