Trump reveals biggest presidential regret

Former President Donald Trump had been silenced from social media.

But that doesn’t stop his words from making headlines.

And Monday, he revealed the biggest regret of his presidency and it spoke volumes.

In a statement, Trump said he shouldn’t have endorsed a prominent figure within the Republican Party: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

“Had Mitch McConnell fought for the Presidency like he should have,” Trump wrote, “there would right now be Presidential Vetoes on all of the phased Legislation that he has proven to be incapable of stopping. Not to mention, he lost two Senatorial seats in Georgia, making the Republicans the Minority in the Senate.”

NEW!

In other words, he’s blaming McConnell for the advancements of President Joe Biden’s policies in Congress, which critics all an extension of the Obama years. And Trump says McConnell is the one responsible.

“He never fought for the White House and blew it for the country.”

“Too bad I backed him in Kentucky,” read the statement, “he would have been primaried and lost!”

Of course, Trump’s rift with McConnell is no big secret.

Trump also accused former Attorney General William Barr of conspiring with McConnell to win the election for President Joe Biden.

“Based on press reports, he convinced his buddy, Bill Barr, to get the corrupt (based on massive amounts of evidence that the Fake News refuses to mention!) election done, over with, and sealed for Biden, ASAP.”

The Trump statement comes on the heels of his return to rallies — perhaps evidence that Trump is set to spend the rest of the summer in attack mode as the kingmaker of the GOP.

And it seems as though one of his major missions is to knock McConnell off the D.C. chessboard completely.
