House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., got a rude awakening Monday morning.
According to reports, far-left protesters targeted her home city of San Francisco for a demonstration.
The “Sunrise Movement” protest group marched to Pelosi’s home — and when they arrived there, the protesters dumped ashes on the congresswoman’s porch.
The protesters reportedly threw wildfire ashes on Pelosi’s property in a message to Congress to urge action on climate change.
According to Fox News, the demonstrators took ashes from Butte County, California — the source of the deadliest wildfire in 2018.
“Nancy Pelosi, I want you to get off your butt and do something,” one activist purportedly said. “Our future is getting fudged up.”
But the activists didn’t stop there.
They also paid a visit to Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., home on the way to Pelosi’s house.
Spokespersons for both Pelosi and Feinstein appeased the climate activists.
Pelosi’s press secretary said that the “courage and resilience of the young climate activists marching for climate justice is an inspiration.”
And Feinstein’s spokesperson told Fox that they agree “with the views of the protestors that climate change is a critical threat to our world and that urgent action is needed to address it.”
This isn’t the first time Pelosi’s home was vandalized by angry leftist protesters.
Just earlier this year, her home was vandalized by graffiti from protesters demanding COVID-19 relief.
And last year, protesters crowded around outside of her home and hung up hair curlers after she was caught on camera breaking mask regulations to get her hair done in San Francisco.
