Former first lady Michelle Obama is very scared.
She’s not worried about the rapid rise in inflation, ballooning government debt, the future of policing in America, the labor shortage, or the sudden disappearance of gasoline on the East coast.
No, Michelle says she’s afraid for her daughters because it’s too dangerous for them to do things like normal Americans.
Her 22-year-old and 19-year old can’t go grocery shopping, drive their car, or walk their dog without fear because of how racist everyday Americans have become, Michelle said.
Of course, Michelle didn’t mention the large, armed Secret Service detail that protects her and her family.
“Every time they get in a car by themselves, I worry about what assumption is being made by somebody who doesn’t know everything about them,” Michelle told CBS News in an interview that airs Friday.
“I, like so many parents of black kids … the innocent act of getting a license puts fear in our hearts,’’ she said. “Many of us still live in fear as we go to the grocery store, or walking our dogs.”
One savvy Newsmax reporter asked how scared Michelle was to get her daughter an internship under convicted serial rapist Harvey Weinstein in 2017.
For decades, Weinstein’s sexual assault and rape accusations were an “open secret” that was well known among the powerful in Hollywood and Washington, D.C. before his arrest that same year.
Michelle Obama is so concerned about the safety of her daughters that she got one of them an internship with Harvey Weinstein.

“So, Michelle is more worried about a police officer hurting her daughter, than Harvey Weinstein a serial rapist?” conservative activist Wayne Dupree asked.
“I don’t know about you, but that sounds a little odd to me, and it sounds like Michelle Obama is one helluva rotten parent, sending her defenseless 18-year-old daughter to hang out with a rapist. Yikes.”
