A teen accused of robbing a Detroit bank didn’t have a good getaway plan.
Police say a teller at a Chase bank activated electronic locks Monday, trapping the 15-year-old boy between a set of doors on his way out. He was arrested when officers arrived.
Officer Dan Donakowski tells the Detroit Free Press that the teen had threatened to use a bomb if the teller didn’t give him money.
Police don’t believe he had a weapon.

I read about an even stranger bank robbery in Death To The Novice Attorney (Amazon.con) where a guy who thought he was Moses and had a stick that was a snake and it told him what to do, robbed a bank with two other dudes. Did they get caught? You bet, and the chase is hilarious.

Locking doors as in a “foyer” ? In addition, why not a elevator floor to lower the robber(s) to a room where they can be apprehended by police, then floor would return to the foyer where business could continue as usual?
