A new report from a public opinion polling firm should have presidential candidate Donald Trump’s GOP challengers shaking in their boots.
Because it seems to prove that Trump’s support — and his lead among the Republican field — may be greater than previous polls have indicated. And he may have millions of “secret” supporters who are not being counted in national surveys.
The study from Morning Consult, a Washington, DC-based polling firm, found that some Trump supporters are still reluctant to admit in phone interviews that they’re supporting the bombastic billionaire, even though they intend to vote for him.
But when polls were conducted online, and responses were anonymous, Trump’s support rose by as much as 6 percent.
“It probably means [his support is] understated when you go into the sanctity of a secret ballot,” said Ken Goldstein, Bloomberg polling analyst.
The phenomenon of some voters not wanting to defend why they support Trump may explain why Trump has consistently fared better in online polls than in-person phone interviews.
And if Trump’s support is indeed significantly higher than previous polls have reported, the presidential race may be quickly slipping away for rival Republican candidates.
People from all backgrounds are supporting Trump because of his plan to win, and belief that Trump promises will swiftly become concrete accomplishments. Americans get it – so politicians (public servants to the people) get ready to truly serve We The People once again.

One senses that there has been something of a “changing of the guard” as the bigger names in international affairs have begun to shift away from inherited wealth toward more “self-made” individuals but perhaps they are just the more public face, with the wealthiest families preferring to stay in the background–sending their deputies to negotiate on their behalf. Waging political campaigns is a very expensive business so the politicians go when they are summoned to receive funding–but there is always something expected in return.
Elites see themselves as being very different from the rest of us. Even if they are American, they feel that they have more in common with elites around the world than they do other Americans of more “humble” stations in life. As usual, Americans are falling for the promise of a quick fix. Too many people expect a quick fix for every problem, whim or inconvenience they encounter. Too many people think all problems, desires, preferences and irritants can be “microwaved” to something more comfortable by the bombastic rhetoric of the purveyors of empty political promises.
Our country faces many complicated problems. Legitimate fixes require a “grown up” realization that these honest fixes will require bold leadership, not blowhard bravado. They will require time that requires a degree of patience and an understanding that they must come at some cost—to them. The consequences of our accumulated indifference, procrastination and feckless stand-ins for real leaders will come as a surprise to those who have been willing to let these leader “wannabes” seduce them into their fantasy world of quick fixes.
Real fixes will not be the quick fixes that pretend leaders want people to count on. Too many voters are drunk with the empty promises of quick fixes. Our country needs an adult, thoughtful approach to the problems of our day. It will require honesty, integrity and a real-world level-headedness that has a proven record of solving complicated challenges with a legitimate intellect. In short, our county needs BEN CARSON!

We must be registered to vote. If a person is a registered Democrat or Republican and votes for an Independent Candidate, in most states, the vote will not count. Trump needs to remain on the Republican ticket….most states finished registering voters for the 2016 election in November 2015.

And, with a show of hands, you had about 35% Republicans, 20% Democrats and the rest, about 45% said they were independents! And the air was “ELECTRIC!” Not since a Ronald Reagan Rally, have I seen such enthusiasm in a crowd! I was to several Romney rallies, and the “Spark” was just not there, not like now! And he is drawing thousands and thousands at every rally he shows up at! Some times with only a days notice! I just wish people like Jeb Bush, and John Kasich, and Rand Paul, And Chris Christie and Marco Rubio would just get out of the way, stop wasting money, and get behind a Trump/Cruz ticket! I have jumped onto the Trump bandwagon, but Ted Cruz is a problem in the V.P slot. He would almost certainly be judged to be ineligible if it goes to the Dem-controlled SCOTUS–and it is certain to go there. Cruz was born in Canada, which he readily acknowledges. The Constitution clearly states that any President must be “a natural-born citizen” (and thus, a V.P. since he could be called on to serve at any moment). There has NEVER been a President or V.President of the U.S. who wasn’t born either in one of the original thirteen colonies (mostly in Virginia) or in one of the states of the United States. The only controversy on that point (other than if Obama was really born in Kenya) is that of Chester A. It’s ludicrous to believe this presumption is valid when the subjects are campaigning politicians no lucid citizens trust — especially since such a huge proportion pay little attention to all the “B-S” the candidates dump on “Media” early in the process — nor will they “do their homework” before deciding why they needn’t “bother”
with a trip to the Polling Place, regardless of who’s running !! It’s almost comical (except for considering how the deep faults of complacency obliterate what’s intended to be a republic democracy): so many citizens are most impressed by the sheer quantity of roadside campaign signs bought and paid for by “Special Interest” groups.
Politicians NEVER deliver on campaign promises, because once taking office they discover they can’t get anything supported except by “playing the game” this corrupted system requires them to “follow the Leader”.
I think another reason the establishment republicans and democrats are shaking
in their boots is that with Trump in and control over congress; maybe, just maybe
we can get a term limits bill passed. Of course our existing congress won’t support
that even if they’re all republican; but we can keep ousting those full time, self-interested,

Yes, David, the USA is broke!!! The Federal Reserve is “insolvent” (they are leveraged 77:1)! That means for every $77 they have outstanding, they have $1 in actuality. Any bank is considered in deep shit when they are leveraged past 15:1 (Lehman’s for example was 33:1). This country (this world) is on the precipice of a catastrophic failure. The numbers do not add up because they cannot add up (it is way past reconciliation!!). When I was doing a hospital internship as medical doctor 30 years ago, we used to have many manufacturing factories here in USA, making “made in USA” proud. Slowly one by one, 50,000 factories disappeared due to restricted regulation made by stupid, shortsighted politicians.

I have to admit I was a great supporter of Jeb’s brother W. I believe if Jeb was elected we would be sending many more of our youngest and finest to their early demise or being severely injured. Their war in the Mideast has been going on for hundreds and hundreds of years. I was a timid candidate for Trump at first, but the man is saying outloud exactly what is on my mind and the minds of most of my friends both republicans and democrats. I feel strongly that President Trump would straighten out our immigration problems, Rebuild our military and it’s command (walk softly and carry a big stick), Take the money away from the terrorists and prosecute or eliminate the ones that oppose the American way of life (judeo-christisn based constitution). And would establish business relations with other world powers and war only as a very last resort. I would rather eat Peking Duck, Beef Stroganoff, and dates and figs each one day a month rather than lose one of our young people in a unwinnable war.This wont please the Cabal so please Mr. Trump keep the security tight around you and your family. She was apart of a North American “Community’ project that would involve Mexico, the US, and Canada, allowing for easy movement across the borders. I don’t believe for a minute that Ted Cruz has any intentions of closing down our southern border, much less building a wall. The only candidate that will protect us from illegal immigration/migration is Donald Trump. He has done business all over the world and knows better than any other candidate how the US has been getting screwed by other countries, due to the ‘low information’ political figures doing our negotiating on trade and other business related issues. I believe Trump is the only candidate that has the knowledge, will, and ability to bring back a roaring economy. This country is in a disastrous economic hole, with millions of educated young people unable to find decent jobs. We need help NOW and only Donald Trump actually knows how to deal with the financial overhaul we so desperately need in the country. I also believe he’s the only candidate that has the guts to actually expose the criminal activity of the Clintons. It’s time the country hears about the Clinton Foundation and where the money is coming from and where it’s going. It’s finally time to bring those people down, once and for all. It includes the controlling “Houses of Wealth” (I could name a few but won’t) and their Central Banks around the world including the IMF, and their sub-organizations like the Council of Foreign Relations. They control the media and news organizations. But can they allow a Trump to succeed and gain the White House? JFK got out of line and look what happened to him (a very visible lesson for those that would follow)!! If Trump is not one of theirs, then they will be forced to try and stop him. Can the good people of America rise and fight back against this global evil?? Time will tell, although we are running out of time!

Another vote for Trump! Most folks understand that he speaks a bit harsh, but is type persona required in attempt to turn this country in right direction. Most sheep are still sleeping, and have not yet awakened to the real direction of this country & the future plans of the elite. What happened to the middle class in this country? Who forced all the work production out of this country? What is going on with our currency? QE? Yea, better wake up America!! Bring forth Trump, bring our Military back to par, take care of our veterans, erase obamacare but do away with existing conditions, down size the IRS, EPA, and stop stealing property from the ranchers, & stop wasting billions of tax dollars at our expense! Stop supplying the dam terrorist with funding and weapons, & bring back middle class jobs to America! Donald Trump can’t do it alone, but he sure hell may be the right person to lead us back in right direction!
