As the civil unrest and virus outbreak paralyze America, Democrats have demanded any statue connected to slavery or racism in the past be torn down and historic figures cancelled.
Monuments are being pulled down, Hollywood classics are being removed, and historic parts of America are being renamed by angry mobs demanding answers for past injustices.
So a group of clever Republicans turned the tables on Democrats.
Officials in Connecticut introduced a resolution to change the name of the Democratic Party, citing the side’s deep-rooted legacy of racism.
The Ku Klux Klan, Jim Crow laws, segregation, and the confederacy all stemmed from the party that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi now leads.
And the Republicans’ message is clear — if everything with a controversial past has to go, then Democrats have to go, too.
State GOP Chairman J.R. Romano told the Hartford Courant, “If we are to hold Christopher Columbus accountable for over 500 years after the fact, it’s our duty and our moral obligation to hold the Democratic Party accountable.”
The Republican Party is the party of the Great Emancipator, former President Abraham Lincoln, and famed gun-totting Union scout Harriet Tubman.
Former President Andrew Jackson, a Democrat, ordered the infamous “Trail of Tears” forced relocation of American Indian tribes.
A conservative Pundit Mark Levin says it makes no difference whether or not the party has progressed in recent history.
“It’s in that party’s DNA,” he said.
The roots of the Democratic Party are undoubtedly ingrained in prejudice, slavery, racism, and the Confederacy — and the existing damage from their party’s past is still felt to this very day.
Even today, America’s proudest cities have been run into the ground by Democratic leadership, and it can all be traced back to an ugly source.
News of the GOP resolution quickly caught wind and began spreading across social media.
The Party of Slavery, KKK, Jim Crow and Segregation should change their name.. Retweet and Pass it On!
