Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich appeared on “Fox & Friends” to expose the Democrats latest plan to cripple President Donald Trump — they’re praying for America’s economy to fail.
With Robert Mueller nowhere to be found, liberals have resorted to a nastier gameplan.
They’re going so far that they’re hoping that a disaster hits America.
“Every left-wing reporter in the country and every Democratic presidential candidate is desperate for a recession,” Gingrich said during his segment. The talk of a recession is spreading wildfire-like around the media.
Democrats are jumping for joy, and liberal “experts” are promising that the Trump economy will tank in a year or two.
“They’re running for president in the hopes that more Americans will be unemployed,” Gingrich went on. “Any indicator of any kind that gives them an excuse to say, ‘oh the recession’s on the way, the recession’s on the way,’ it just makes them feels good.”

But White House Aide Kellyanne Conway sarcastically said that she was just pleased to see the media finally covering the Trump economy.
“You seem to cover it only when you can use the ‘Sesame Street’ word of the day: recession,” she told a group of reporters outside of the White House.
“The fact is, the fundamentals of our economy are very strong, and you know it.”
