In October, Sheriff Lupe Valdez announced – as part of her re-election campaign – that she would immediately be moving Dallas into line with an estimated 300 other sanctuary cities in the United States.
Valdez ordered her officers not cooperate with immigration officials and release illegal immigrants caught committing so-called “minor” crimes.
Now, an illegal immigrant is accused of using his car to assault one of these police officer.
Officials say that the man that ran over and injured an off-duty officer, twice, before being shot by police outside a Dallas nightclub early Monday was in the country illegally. Not only that, but U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Carl Rusnok says 29-year-old Eduardo Gonzalez-Rios has been previously deported from the U.S. three times.
Gonzalez-Rios has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault against a public servant.
Police say Sr. Corporal Ed Lujan suffered numerous broken bones and a lacerated scalp after Gonzalez-Rios ran over him twice outside the Kalua Discotheque.
Police say the incident prompted Sgt. Shannon Browning and Sr. Corporal Antonio Barrientos to fire at Gonzalez-Rios. Gonzalez-Rios was wounded in the arm and released from the hospital Tuesday. He is being being detained on in the Dallas County jail.

It’s on the Boston area news how a student at Revere High School, in Revere, MA, in Boston’s Suffolk County, tweeted that the low election turnout was because a large chunk of Revere’s population maybe illegal aliens. The basis for a lot of this nonsense that crops up all around the nation is the CR Act 1964/5. Everybody seems to have civil rights but law abiding citizens. This act is an open ended license to sue using the govt, who has deep pockets so can pay the lawyers. This is the biggest racket since the fed res was put into action in 1913. It is a WPA for lawyers, a special class of citizens in politics everywhere. So lawyers have the backs of other lawyers. Sort of a specialized discrimination scheme.
Ask your self this question: Where do “civil rights” come from? God, the mosque? GM, et al? You,me? The Russians, etc.? Who is missing from this list? There is only one source of CR and it ain’t none of these? Since all of the above do not give CR, that means we and they can’t take CR away, unless in a position .to grant them.
Take slavery. It was legal in the south followed by legal laws of discrimination known as Jim Crow. Both practiced by democrats. Where do all things legal come from? Which is what govt can do. Make things legal and call some things civil rights. And in the Constitution the Bill of Rights empowers the citizens to have a list of rights, meaning as the law of the land the govt can’t take these civil rights away. It does not mean that the SCOUS can declare anyone has the civil right to get married. Or A Fitch is violating a persons “right” to wear a burka. Based on this why isn’t it anyone’s “right” to assemble in a court room while a trial is going on? The whole thrust of our govt, like the trust of a sword into a person’s heart, with major preoccupation by the DOJ, president and congress and courts with rights here, rights there everywhere rights is to kill our freedom! The CR Act needs to be trashed, scraped, eliminated like prohibition.
