Stunning Obama EPA waste discovered

For two years straight the Obama administration wasted over $800,000 of taxpayer money on unused parking spots.

Yes you read that correct. Nearly a million dollars on parking spots that were never used.

Is your blood boiling yet?

The stunning reveal came after an audit by the Office of Inspector General. They reported that, under former President Barack Obama’s direction, EPA spent a fortune of taxpayer dollars on subsidized parking for their employees.

How kind of the Obama administration to offer their EPA employees a nice parking spot that the rest of us had the courtesy of paying for.

Our work parking spots should be paid for just for putting up with his eight years in office!

“Only EPA headquarters (based in Washington, D.C.) and Region 4 (based in Atlanta, Georgia) subsidized employee parking,” the inspector general said. “These offices paid over $840,000 to subsidize employee parking from January 1, 2015, through December 31, 2016.”

Do you want to hear the best part of all this wasted money? Obama is not even required to give subsidized parking! It was a freebie that was never used.

“In this time period, none of the other EPA regional offices provided their employees with subsidized parking, which is not a required employee benefit,” the inspector general added.

It sure does seem like he gets enjoyment out of wasting taxpayers money.

Each month $293.45 was dedicated to paying for each spot that were not even being occupied. The D.C. headquarters had over a quarter of parking spots empty… every single day.

Meanwhile, hardworking, taxpaying Americans struggled to make ends meet.
