Expert: Obama officials indictment “coming soon”

The hammer is set to drop on former President Barack Obama administration insiders — and the indictments will start with Susan Rice, the head of the National Security Agency during the illegal “unmasking” of the Trump campaign.

That’s according to legal expert Gregg Jarrett, who told Fox News’ Lou Dobbs that an indictment for Rice and other top level Obama officials will be coming any day.

Rice’s unexpected withdrawal from a planned closed-door meeting in front of the House Intelligence Committee, which had already been postponed to Tuesday, is evidence an indictment is expected soon.

“[Rice’s actions] tells me that lawyers have gotten involved,” Jarrett said. “Lawyers probably told her to clam up … Because she’s in legal jeopardy.”

Rice was expected to give testimony to the House committee regarding the Obama administration’s actions during the unmasking scandal.

President Donald Trump and his administration have said Rice’s actions were a part of an illegal wiretapping effort of his presidential campaign.

“At least one crime was committed here, and likely many more,” Jarrett said. “I would imagine that once they determine who did [the unmasking], they’re going to be indicted. Now is it going to be a member of the administration, it would have to be because they’re the only ones who had access — top administration officials — to the intelligence that actually does the collection.”
