Biden: “Never say never” to 2020 presidential run

Vice President Joe Biden is continuing his coy approach to a possible 2020 presidential bid. For now, it’s no.

The Democrat told Stephen Colbert on CBS’ “Late Show” Tuesday, “I don’t plan on running again, but to say you know what’s going to happen in four years is just not rational.” He added, “I can’t see the circumstance in which I’d run, but what I’ve learned a long, long time ago, Stephen, is to never say never.”

The comments came a day after Biden said, with a slight smile to a reporter, “I’m going to run in 2020.”

Biden told Colbert his decision not to run in 2016 was right for his family, even though he was “best prepared at this moment to lead the country.”

The Associated Press contributed to this article.

Joe Biden’s last chance to run for president was likely the 2016 race. I find it hard to believe the Democrats are not going to come up with a younger generation of contenders to run in 2020.

If Donald Trump is successful in his first few years as president, many Democrats may decide to sit the 2020 race out. That same mindset is what helped Bill Clinton rise to power in 1992.

Dear Mr. Biden, you have nothing of value in your present position and definitely not in our WH! You are too old mentally and physically for anything but groping females and that is not going over very well for them or you! Go home and bug your family and leave America to thrive and grow great again because you sure wouldn’t do anything of value to enhance our country.
