“60 Minutes” has landed the first extensive interview with President-elect Donald Trump.
CBS announced on Thursday that Lesley Stahl will interview Trump on Friday at his home in New York City about his election. “60 Minutes” will broadcast the interview on Sunday night.
Stahl will also speak to Trump’s family, including incoming first lady Melania and children Ivanka, Tiffany, Eric and Donald Jr.
The president-elect met with President Obama on Thursday at the White House.

How did Hannity MISS landing the first major interview? Bet he is disappointed, to say the least!!
Bob, the ideal here is to get a wide spread audience on the opposite side to receive information about Trumps desire to be POTUS for all people, and this requires a major new network for the US listening audience. Now, as to whether it will be a fair interview, will have to be gauged with some discernment but all in all, it should be very interesting.
You are correct. Of course, Hillary shouted that she would represent ALL Americans yet she would not go on any Fox shows. She is/was not interested in talking to or hearing from her basket of deplorables.
Mr. Trump had better watch out. He’ll probably be ambushed by the liberal media. And what’s wrong with Sean Hannity? He & Fox tell the truth & don’t soft soap it & twist it like the other stations do.
It is good that Trump is taking the fight to part of the enemy–CBS (they are not as bad as CNN or MSNBC though).
It does no good to just be interviewed at Fox, because the people Donald Trump is trying to reach with his common sense approach hardly ever watch Fox.
JUST HOPE OUR NEW PRES. IS MUCH SMARTER THAN THE LIBERALS–SEEMS HE HAS THEIR NUMBER. HANNITY WILL BE IN LINE FOR MUCH APPLAUSE IN THE FUTURE SURELY.
Yes, I hope and do believe that President Elect Trump does have the ‘numbers’ of many groups. I am horrified that the Republicans are one of the groups that are getting ready to circle around him and those he will appoint. Wow, the battle will continue in ways I never really dreamed. This is the cycle of revolution per “The Fourth Turning” book. I personally because of my spiritual beliefs will be praying daily and perhaps multiple times daily for him and his staff and this country. And that is a commitment I am making for everyday for the next 4 years and two months, and perhaps the next eight years and two months.
The challenges ahead are stunning, the potential ahead are amazing.
“UNITED WE STAND” should be the news headlines. We the people need to roll up our sleeves and work together. We need to enforce the laws equally, balance the federal budget and move on from negativity and the BLAME GAME.

Does anyone actually trust those Republican snakes in Congress to not double cross Trump? There’s no damned way they’ll ever WRITE, let alone PASS a Term Limit Bill. They’re smiling for the cameras NOW… but watch what actually happens in the first hundred days after he’s sworn in. They’ll throw up road blocks to his initiatives and invent ways to make HIM look crazy and wrong when he goes after them…. just as their Democrat brethren and Jackals do to their own.
