Fox News co-presidents Jack Abernethy and Bill Shine have signed new long-term contracts.
Rupert Murdoch made the announcement on Wednesday.
Murdoch is the executive chairman of Fox News and Fox Business Network and of 21st Century Fox.
Murdoch says the new deals will ensure “stability and leadership to help guide the network for years to come.”
The duration of the contracts was not disclosed.
Last month, Murdoch appointed the two veteran Fox News executives to lead the network after the July departure of Roger Ailes following sexual harassment allegations.
Shine, who had been one of Ailes’ top deputies, now runs editorial operations for Fox News and Fox Business Network. Abernethy runs Fox’s stable of 28 local stations while overseeing business operations for the two networks. Both report to Murdoch.

Fox news seems to have gone down the tubes since roger ailes resigned. they are becoming more liberal than M.S.N.B.C or C.N.N. I guess ailes was the only thread holding the garment together, so to speak. Hannity and shepard smith are the only good ones left.

I stopped turning to fox news after megyn kelly tried to destroy trump during the first debates and they fired andria from out numbered. You could tell then which way fox was going. The slide down continues.
Me too Garry. I had listened to Fox since the mid nineties until the Kelly/Baier first debate. Now, I only watch Lou Dobbs and “Heah come da Judge” Jeanne Pirro. Sometimes I did watch Greta. In fact, her show the evening before she was booted, she had an excellent program with Ivanka and Melania Trump and a tour of Trump Towers. Maybe she will end up with the Trump campaign. Remember, Rupert Murdoch, from day one, has ALWAYS been anti Trump and now he has two folks running the place who he completely controls.Remember, it is all about “huuuuge” money and control.

I too think FOX news and business have changed the past month, I’ve watched fox for two plus years and it seems to be leaning to the left side due to the people they bring in to view their opinion on politics. CNN and the rest of main stream media never have guest that voice more right leaning views.

It will be interesting to see if these two can keep Fox News in a lead position. Sometimes people learn after a leader leaves that it is easier to fill a position that to actually replace the person’s skill set and abilities.
I watch, Lou Dobbs,Stewart Varney, Erich Bolling, Sean Hannity, Charles Payne, mostly, FBN, they mostly support, Trump! FNC not so much!
I have watched Fox News for a long time, but lately I seem to realize they are knocking Trump more every day. Cavuto hasn’t come right out and said how much he despises Trump, but you can tell from his expressions that he does.. He wasn’t missed while he was out. Stewart Varney is much better. I quit watching Fox when Megyn Kelly insulted Trump on the debates. She Bret, and Wallace were all against Trump, and she had nerve enough to ask Cruz, “have you heard any word from God yet.” Even though I wanted to continue to watch The Five because it was a good show, but I was so disgusted with the way Trump was treated, but about a few months later I started watching it again, and now after watching the show I do believe , Eric and Kimberly are the only ones on that show that will give Trump his due. The rest are Hillary lovers. Greg and Dana may think they are fooling the viewer’s, but we aren’t stupid. Juan Williams as far as I’m concerned should be fired like Bob Beckel was. Dana has always let it be known she has no respect for Trump, and if she lets the viewer’s know her feelings about a candidate, she should be taken off the show, period. She sounds and acts like one of the women on CNN, with their animosity toward Trump. I also watch Fox Business News, and Varney, Dobbs, Payne are all good.
The debate will feature anti trump moderators. I trust Cooper to be fair over Wallace.

Fox at the local level seems solid, here in Connecticut, however the national network is totally out to lunch…. The FIVE are
‘SPOT ON’ except for the token LIBERAL…. Juan “what’s his face! Their other problem is that they all speak at the same time causing mucho consternation for the listener, creating a constipated non-CONVERSATION….. As Mr. Kelly Megan, his/her sense of priority and place leaves much to be desired. There seems to be a correlation between this commentator and Rachel Maddow across the street at CNBC…. The way they force their guest into corners to illicit response that creates moments of difficulty whereby they are trying to embarrass as opposed to seeking TRUTH ? The American political process is a joke and the rest of the world knows it…. And it is all manipulated by the media! They are the PIMP’s of the political process, just as LOBBY’s PIMP Congress into Prostituting themselves. Just as the Clinton/Obama Foundation Prostitutes’ itself all over the world. Politics has has become simply another version of organized crime and should fall under the RICO Statutes !!
I am totally disgusted with the lack of America’s Moral fiber… If Clinton is put into The White House…. As you know PBS is a non-profit and through political contributions into Public Communication Systems at the umbrella Corporation down through its State affiliates, i.e…, CPTV, RIPTV,… Where-ever Public Broadcasting Television of Public Radio, NPR is found across this nation. America will find me there and through them…. and commercial TV and Radio can simply go and contemplate their naval or the naval’s of the talking heads. American Citizens deserve better!! I would seek to go into Washington, D.C. with the idea to rebuild the American Governance System, leaving no room for the American Constitution to be manipulated. The American Education System needs to be rebuilt where learning begins in EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS… I want America’s CHILDREN to be operating at 1st or 2nd Grade by their 5th Birthday. These programs should have parental participation and that reasoning comes from the fact over 70% of American parents are not reading at 4th or 5th GRADE STANDARDS… The last 40 years in America’s Schools has witnessed a DUMBING DOWN of Curriculum simply to allow those that struggle to be told they measure up. But in fact they and their parents do not even come close to measuring up… Hence we see a consistency in the widening of socio-economic populations…. What actually scares me beyond measure is that 70% of the VOTING population that read a the 4th or 5th grade level have every opportunity to VOTE…. BUT!!! Do NOT have the intelligence to VOTE rationally and these are our fellow citizens who are manipulated be the Original Party of the Democrat that of Clinton/Obama. Don’t think the Bush fiasco of Geo. W. Bush did America any favors, nor did Geo. Herbert Walker Bush do America any good… The Governance of these United States began its descent into this ABYSS of futility in DALLAS, Texas when JFK was taken from us. I also think Nelson Rockefeller would have done America proud.
If Clinton succeeds I would seek consideration for 2020, but I would move to push for early elections in 2018… The American Citizen would need to fully support that endeavor… Donald Trump shows promise and all he needs is greater support. I agree he is not the polished politician we are used to… But what we are used to is POLISHED BULL S_ _ _ !! TRUMP will not lie to you… If he does?? Tell him we can Impeach him at the state level and if there is a 2/3 majority of States Congress has no choice but to make it so……

Ailes was too busy trying to talk his women supervisees into bed. He should have been fired for cause! Instead he was given a &40M handshake. What idiocy! I’m thinking it has to be Shine who must be tolerating, perhaps encouraging, people like the wishy-washy Megan Kelly who capitalizes mostly on her looks, and is quite unable to enunciate clearly even one conservative principle in the daily confusion she spews.
