A British man who killed a fellow Muslim because he felt he had disrespected Islam has been sentenced to at least 27 years in prison.
Tanveer Ahmed admitted stabbing and beating shopkeeper Asad Shah to death at his Glasgow convenience store in March.
Prosecutors said Ahmed, 32, told police his actions were motivated by Shah’s “disrespect (for) the Quran, the Prophet Muhammad, Allah and faith.”
Shah was a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, which differs from mainstream Islam in that it doesn’t regard Muhammad as the final prophet.
Ahmed did not know his victim but had seen statements he had posted online.
Judge Rita Rae sentenced Ahmed Tuesday to life with no chance of parole for 27 years. She said he committed a “barbaric” crime and had shown no remorse.

We need to educate young muslims so that they don’t grow up hating anyone. Madrassahs should be banned. Sorry if I spelled Madrassahs wrong. Those are the schools where they teach them to memorize the Koran, and nothing else. Talk about lack of education!!! How can we raise functioning and contributing members of our society if they don’t understand right from wrong?

The death penalty would have been a better way to deal with this murderer. He will be able to use his time in prison to create more chaos.
He should it called Hell-lary and with a little under the table cash he would it been free in 20 minutes and pardon of any crime and also got a permit to kill more people based on religion. If he used a gun even better so she can get another excuse to ban guns
