Egyptian officials say a Muslim mob stabbed a Coptic Christian to death over a personal feud.
Bishop Macarious of the southern Minya governorate says the mob attacked the families of two priests with knives and batons in the village of Tahna al-Gabal late Sunday. Fam Khalaf, 27, was killed and the father of one of the priests was wounded.
Police confirmed the incident and said they arrested four people.
Christian residents gathered at a local church for prayers for the dead and protests on Monday.
Christians make up 10 percent of Egypt’s mostly Muslim population. Sectarian violence occasionally erupts, mainly in rural communities in the south. Islamic extremists have also targeted Christians.

maybe christians should retaliate and attack muslims – tit for tat – and we end up with a new crusade, but with more grave consequences than the last one. This time there are more christians than muslims!!!!
robvert you are living in a dreamworld, leaders in the Christian West have no intention or inclination to help Christians in muslim countries, not even religious leaders, when has the Pope tried to protect Christians, when has the archbishop of Canterbury been moved to help these Christians, the only leaders I have heard speak in defence of Christians has been Vladimir Putin and leaders of the Russian Orthodox church.
This is another example of Islam, the religion of “peace.” Islam is an evil religion which worships a repurposed moon god. Muslims have a problem with Jews and Christians because they worship a totally different deity.
Every place Islam is allowed to dominate is a place of misery, violence, oppression and poverty.
Biblical law requires that when a life is taken so should be the life’s of the offenders. Christians need to stop turning the other cheek. In hostile nations they should form a leagle authority with an enforcement arm of military to hunt these cowards down and apply the law, firing squad. This should be supported by the Christian community. This unfortuneatly is the only Karma they understand. If you try to play nice guy they will continue their purge of Christians and Jews as they are taught to do.
