Former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson has lived through some wild, often unbelievable, stories during his up-and-down career.
But Tyson’s cultural legend just went next level after revealing a shocking story involving his ex-wife and Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt that’s been kept under wraps for 37 years.
During a wild interview on polarizing Theo Von’s podcast “This Past Weekend,” Von asked Tyson if any guy had ever stolen one of his girlfriends.
Initially, Tyson couldn’t recall any incidents.
However, Von’s team had done its deep research on Tyson and stumbled upon a wild Brad Pitt connection.
“Oh, that’s an interesting story. He didn’t steal her from me, but me and my wife were going through a divorce,” Tyson, now 59, recalled.
At the end of the 1980s, Tyson was married to star Robin Givens and was the biggest name in boxing with a record was 37-0.
However, it was at this point in his budding career that his personal life was beginning to spiral out of control.
Tyson told Von that he and Givens were having sex, but also visiting their divorce lawyer to end the marriage. At night, there was sex, the next day they’d be fighting in the papers.
“But, one day, I went over to the house (to have sex). She wasn’t home. Nobody. And then, driving up the road with the BMW that I bought her and she had some –– I thought it was one of her friends from “Head of the Class” (Givens appeared on the show from 1986 to 1991) –– but it wasn’t one of her friends. It was (expletive) Brad Pitt trying to get some head,” Tyson recalled.
However, this was well before Pitt became one of the most recognizable superstars and heartthrobs in Hollywood.
“He wasn’t Brad Pitt yet. I didn’t know who the f–k he was,” Mike continued with a smile on his face. “He didn’t even have a car.”

In 1989, Pitt’s first featured role came in a horror film, “Cutting Class” and was Pitt’s first official movie to land in theaters.
Meanwhile, Tyson was one of the most recognized athletes on the planet.
Different versions of the same story have been told by Tyson in various capacities over the years.
Givens has never disputed that Pitt was in her car when Mike showed up, but she denies being caught in bed with the actor. She also denies Pitt ever begged Tyson not to hit him.
