Report: Marjorie Taylor Greene flees the U.S., living abroad

Has ex-MAGA Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene suddenly left the United States for a life abroad?

A wild conspiracy theory circulating from Laura Loomer says Greene has ditched the United States for a multi-million dollar mansion in Costa Rica.

Now Greene is responding to the rumor.

Loomer, a vocal far-right conspiracy theorist, reposted one of Greene’s vacation pictures and said that ‘sources’ told her that Greene had sold her home in Rome, Georgia, and moved to Costa Rica.

In December, Loomer alleged that Greene had purchased a $5 million home in the Central American vacation hotspot.

MTG has fled the country to Costa Rica where she is now living in a $5 million mansion after selling her home in Rome, Georgia for $1.1 million in March of 2026.

“We didn’t move to Costa Rica, but if anybody can find the keys to my $5 million mansion, please let me know,” Greene told the Daily Mail last week in response to Loomer’s allegations.

She and fiancé Brian Glenn also confirmed to the outlet that they were indeed on vacation.

However, Loomer stood her ground in comments to the Daily Mail, repeating that she had been told in 2024 that Greene purchased a $5 million property in Costa Rica and sold her Georgia home in March.

“So she’s lying,” Loomer said.

Recent reports surfaced that Glenn was hanging up his hat as Real America’s Voice’s White House correspondent, this on the heels of Greene announcing her retirement from Congress after a nasty rift with President Donald Trump.

Last Monday, Greene posted a picture of two coffee cups on a balcony overlooking a picturesque oceanfront view.

“I’m so thankful to start the next chapter with Brian Glenn,” the former Republican congresswoman wrote.

Loomer, a longtime nemesis of Greene’s, quickly chimed in on X.

“Looks like MTG has been planning her escape from America for a while,” she wrote.

She then alleged that Greene engaged in ‘insider trading’ to purchase the $5 million property and sold off the home in her former Georgia congressional district.

“She abandoned her constituents and fled the country,” Loomer claimed.

Greene announced her departure from Congress in November, with her official resignation in early January, after a public falling out with Trump over the Epstein files and other issues.

Earlier this year, Glenn proposed to Greene, as he continued to split time between Washington and Northwest Georgia.

Now he’s in the process of fully relocating to Greene’s home state.

“I just want to slow everything down and just kind of put my roots in Georgia,” Glenn said in a phone interview on Thursday. “We’re in the process of planning our wedding. Date to be determined,” he added.

He’s also trying to figure out his next step professionally.

“In terms of getting out of politics altogether, you know, I am taking a step back right now from all that. I don’t know what the future holds as far as what I’m going to do for a living, or what I want to talk about,” he said.

Atlanta, GA-based affiliate Channel 2 Action News obtained property records that show Greene’s property sold for $1.1 million.

TMZ has also reported that Greene and Glenn are in the process of finding a new home in Georgia.
