In the movie The Matrix, Neo takes a red pill that opens his eyes to the artificial simulation that has controlled his thoughts for years.
Last week, Americans crashed through the matrix on immigration, and the matrix was named CNN.
The low-rated, left-wing network opposes every policy enacted by President Donald Trump to enforce immigration law, especially the ICE deployment to fraud-riddled Minneapolis.
But a generation of “Neos” found a CNN “news” clip that shows the way the first cable news network bends reality to serve the Democratic Party.
CNN gave glowing coverage to an ICE immigration raid—run by Barack Obama in 2016.
“Just before the sun rises in the Windy City, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents fan out across Chicago to arrest criminals in the U.S. illegally,” said CNN reporter Pamela Brown, before she brags, “CNN was granted exclusive access to witness some of those raids.”
It’s worth watching in full to see the difference in coverage—and see if you can pinpoint the lie the media is trying to get across.
CNN titled the segment, “A day with ICE in the ‘Sanctuary City’ of Chicago,” with “sanctuary city” in scare quotes…and that’s part of the Matrix deception.
A graphic on screen gives it away, glitching through the programming: “ICE says the (Cook County, Illinois) ordinance creates a danger to the community by releasing undocumented criminals back onto the streets.”
Interestingly, CNN’s border bluster aired on May 31, 2016—five months before President Trump would win his first election by slamming a Democrat for open-borders policies and running on a promise to impose order by building a “Big, Beautiful Wall” across the entire southern border.
CNN was trying to show the Obama administration, which Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton served in, trying to crack down on illegal immigration and the local, left-wing sanctuary city ordinance.
The network tried to make Obama and other Democrats seem moderate—like when candidate Bill Clinton railed against a racist black rapper named Sister Souljah before winning the 1992 presidential election.
CNN “reporters” They were “so proud about” the ICE action “right there on CNN during Obama’s term,” said Fox News Business anchor Maria Bartiromo last Friday morning. “Yet now President Trump is doing that and suddenly, ‘It’s horrible, it’s illegal, it’s Nazi.’ It’s ridiculous!”
The mind-trick didn’t originate with CNN—and it didn’t start or end during the 2016 election. The gaslighting went on for all eight years of the (first) Obama administration.
“President Obama has earned the title ‘Deporter-in-Chief,’” wrote the far-Left ACLU a few months before the 2014 midterm elections, which Obama’s party lost in a landslide.
“Obama Leaves Office As ‘Deporter-In-Chief,’” claimed taxpayer-funded NPR on Obama’s last day in office: January 20, 2017.
“No One Expected Obama Would Deport More People Than any Other U.S. President,” wrote WNYC one day earlier.
Obama officials often brag about the president’s deportation numbers…but they don’t admit that Obama changed the way deportations are measured, counting anyone turned away at the border as a “deportation.”
The illegals just crossed again later, while Barack Obama did everything he could to give illegals amnesty and the right to vote.
But the Fake News media failed to keep President Trump out of office, so it’s returned to lying about him and ICE agents.
Last week, CNN questioned whether a Minneapolis ICE agent who shot a man in the leg had really been attacked with a shovel.
Last Thursday, CNN’s Dana Bash claimed the lack of a video “puts the whole question of trust in a very big question mark box.”
Once again, it’s not just CNN: It’s the entire Fake News media matrix.
CBS News—now run by former New York Time writer and center-Right editor Bari Weiss—told viewers it was an open question whether radical lesbian protester Renee Good had actually hit an ICE agent with her car before he opened fire in self-defense…even after bodycam footage shows clear contact.
“It is not clear whether or not the car made contact with him, and how forceful it may have been,” said CBS “reporter” Lana Zak.
The ICE agent suffered internal bleeding due to the accident—but the media still made him the enemy.

During a White House press conference, The Hill’s Niall Stanage said Good was shot only “because an ICE agent acted recklessly and killed her unjustifiably.”
White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said Stanage once again poked a hole through the illusion of media objectivity.
“You’re left-wing hack! You’re not a reporter. You’re posing in this room as a journalist, and it’s so clear by the premise of your questions,” said Leavitt. “You shouldn’t even be sitting in that seat. But you’re pretending like you’re a journalist, but you’re a left-wing activist, and the question that you just raised, and your answer, proves your bias.”
Fake News reporters like Stanage, said Leavitt, should read about the deadly fates met by American citizens murdered in cold blood, such as Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, or “all of the innocent Americans who were killed at the hands of illegal aliens in this country.”
Reporters “should be reporting on the facts,” she said.
Good advice—but unfortunately, as experts who have seen through the media’s lies and manipulation way ahead of the curve, we have bad news, for the Trump administration and for America.

Fat chance.
The media will never return to telling the truth. CNN’s owners, managers, and “reporters” all agree on the deception. They’re committed to the con. And a whole generation of newly-graduated journalism students think their job is to “save democracy,” the facts be damned.
The media are dead. They’ve been lying to you for years and serving up talking points in place of facts, hoping no one will wake up and see through their pathetic little game.
