Donald Trump’s MRI results released (check it out)

The White House just released President Donald Trump’s MRI results to the public.

The October MRI shows that Trump’s cardiovascular and abdominal systems are “perfectly normal,” ending weeks of media speculation about the 79-year-old president’s health.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt read the results from a memo by Trump’s physician during Monday’s briefing.

“As part of President Trump’s comprehensive executive physical, advanced imaging was performed because men in his age group benefit from a thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health,” Leavitt said. “The purpose of this imaging is preventative, to identify any issues early, confirm overall health, and ensure the president maintains long term vitality and function.”

Dr. Sean Barbabella, Trump’s physician, said the president’s cardiovascular imaging was “perfectly normal.”

“There is no evidence of arterial narrowing impairing blood flow or abnormalities in the heart or major vessels,” Barbabella wrote. “The heart chambers are normal in size, the vessel walls appear smooth and healthy, and there are no signs of inflammation or clotting. Overall, his cardiovascular system shows excellent health.”

The doctor said Trump’s abdominal imaging was also “perfectly normal.”

“All major organs appear very healthy and well perfused,” Barbabella explained. “Everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic concerns.”

Trump’s doctor concluded that “this level of detailed assessment is standard for an executive physical at President Trump’s age and confirmed that he remains in excellent overall health.”

The release came after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz called for the MRI results to be made public. Walz responded to a Thanksgiving post from Trump in which the president attacked him for his pro-illegal immigration policies.

“Release the MRI results,” Walz demanded, creating a media firestorm.

Trump told reporters Sunday aboard Air Force One that he was perfectly open to releasing the results.

“If they want to release it, it’s OK with me to release it. It’s perfect,” Trump said. When asked which part of his body the MRI examined, Trump said he had “no idea.”

“It was just an MRI — what part of the body? It wasn’t the brain, because I took a cognitive test and I aced it,” Trump said.

Trump received the MRI on October 10 during a routine follow-up visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, the White House said.

Leavitt used Monday’s briefing to criticize a New York Times article that suggested Trump shows signs of fatigue in his second term.

The article, co-authored by Times White House correspondent Katie Rogers, was headlined “Shorter Days, Signs of Fatigue: Trump Faces Realities of Aging in Office.”

“I will point out one fake news story over the weekend before I let you all go from The New York Times, that took about one-third of the president’s daily calendar and his daily schedule and said that he’s doing less than he did in his first term, or he might not be fit for the job,” Leavitt said.

“That is unequivocally false, and it’s deeply unfortunate that the story was written by the same outlet and the same reporter who wrote this: ‘Biden is doing 100% fine after tripping while boarding Air Force One.'”

Leavitt held up copies of articles Rogers wrote defending Biden’s failing mental health during his administration.

One headline read “Biden is ‘doing 100 percent fine’ after tripping while boarding Air Force One.” Another read “Biden declared ‘healthy and vigorous’ after his first presidential physical.”

“Oh, same outlet, same reporter who wrote that President Trump is not fit for the job. Are you kidding me?” Leavitt said. “You all see him almost every single day. He is the most accessible president in history. He is taking meetings around the clock.”

Earlier this year, Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, which occurs when veins in the legs are damaged and unable to manage blood flow properly. He has been seen with a bruise on the back of his right hand.

White House officials said the bruise was caused by his “constantly working and shaking hands all day every day” and his use of aspirin as recommended by his doctor for men of his age, which can increase bruising.

Karoline Leavitt brings the White House press room to a complete silence with an update on Trump’s MRI scan.

After months of media hysteria over Trump’s health, the results are back — and they are staggering:
