Former Vice President Kamala Harris began yelling to a crowd after she accused President Donald Trump of attempting to gaslight the American people during a Wednesday podcast appearance.
Harris raised her voice and ordered the release of all the files related to disgraced billioanire Jeffrey Epstein.
Of course, Trump had signed the files over for public release that same day.
Harris appeared on The Bulwark podcast in Nashville, where host Tim Miller interviewed her as part of her continuing book tour for “107 Days.” Harris challenged Trump’s position that he needed to wait for Congress before releasing documents related to the deceased sex offender.
“All of a sudden he’s saying he’ll wait to see what Congress does. Since when?” Harris asked. “All of a sudden now he’s waiting for Congress to green light what he will do or wants to do? Come on.”
“So, release the files!” Harris shouted suddenly. “Release the files. He is the President of the United States, the head of the executive branch. He has taken unilateral action without concern about the three co-equal branches of government on almost everything he has done, so release the files.”

Harris made the comments just hours before Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act Wednesday night.
The House had voted 421-1 Tuesday to pass the legislation, and the Senate approved it by unanimous consent.
“I HAVE JUST SIGNED THE BILL TO RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “As everyone knows, I asked Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, to pass this Bill in the House and Senate, respectively. Because of this request, the votes were almost unanimous in favor of passage. At my direction, the Department of Justice has already turned over close to fifty thousand pages of documents to Congress. Do not forget — The Biden Administration did not turn over a SINGLE file or page related to Democrat Epstein, nor did they ever even speak about him.”
The legislation requires the Justice Department to release all unclassified records and investigative materials related to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell within 30 days. The files must include all information about individuals referenced in Epstein’s previous legal cases, details about trafficking allegations, internal DOJ communications related to Epstein, and information about the investigation into his death.
Files containing victims’ names, child sex abuse materials, classified materials, or information that could threaten active investigations may be withheld or redacted by the DOJ.
Attorney General Pam Bondi told reporters Wednesday she would comply with the law and release the files online in a searchable format within the required timeframe.
The Epstein Files Transparency Act was pushed by Reps Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican, and Ro Khanna, a California Democrat, along with Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican. The bill gained momentum after Rep. Adelita Grijalva, an Arizona Democrat, was sworn into office and provided the final signature needed on a discharge petition to force the House vote.
