Jen Psaki dreams of being JD Vance’s wife (yes, really!)

Former White House Press Secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki has some strong thoughts about JD Vance and his wife, second lady Usha Vance.

In fact, Psaki is evidently so enamored with the Vice President’s marriage, she dreamed of a scenario where SHE could pretend to be his wife.

Late last week, Psaki made remarks about the second lady during an appearance on the “I’ve Had It” podcast suggesting that Vance is “scarier” than President Donald Trump — but then role played a scenario where she wanted to be his wife.

“I think the little Manchurian candidate, JD Vance, wants to be president more than anything else,” Psaki claimed.

“I always wonder what is going on in the mind of his wife. Are you okay? Please blink four times. Come over here, we’ll save you,” she imagined

Take a listen — her comments begin at the 8-second mark:

Social media quickly erupted with criticism of Psaki’s remarks as the clip of her podcast appearance went viral.

Steven Cheung, Trump’s communications director, accused Psaki of “transferring her own personal issues onto others” and said she “has to overcompensate for her lack of talent by saying untrue things.”

Fox News contributor Joe Concha also chimed in, saying that Psaki is, “Not a good person. At all.”

Vance commented on what he called Psaki’s “disgraceful” remarks that implied that second lady Usha Vance is afraid of her husband.

“I think it’s disgraceful, but of course the second lady can speak for herself,” Vance told reporters in Israel last Thursday.

He remarked that he is “very lucky to have a wonderful wife” and that he was honored to have her by his side during his recent trip to Israel.

This is not the first time Psaki and Vance have gone toe-to-toe.

Vance slammed Psaki in late August after she attacked conservatives for praying for the victims of the Minneapolis Catholic school shooting that killed two children during Mass.

Psaki sparked outrage when she posted on X that “Prayer is not freaking enough” following the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic School where a transgendered gunman killed two children ages 8 and 10 and seriously injured 17 others while they attended morning Mass.

“Prayers does not end school shootings. prayers do not make parents feel safe sending their kids to school. Prayer does not bring these kids back. Enough with the thoughts and prayers,” Psaki wrote in her initial post attacking those offering prayers for the victims.

Vance, a Catholic convert who was baptized in 2019, responded to Psaki with a passionate defense of prayer.

We pray because our hearts are broken. We pray because we know God listens. We pray because we know that God works in mysterious ways, and can inspire us to further action.

Why do you feel the need to attack other people for praying when kids were just killed praying? https://t.co/KfTJ71Hcjf

“It is shocking to me that so many left wing politicians attack the idea of prayer in response to a tragedy,” Vance later wrote.

“Literally no one thinks prayer is a substitute for action. We pray because our hearts are broken and we believe that God is listening.”
