Is the breakthrough of all breakthroughs surrounding who assassinated former President John F. Kennedy finally coming?
According to Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-F.L., a surprising source is planning to hand over its findings on who assassinated JFK — a move over 30 years in the making.
Yesterday, Luna announced that Russia will hand over the KGB files and findings on the identity of the JFK killer.
Luna posted on X that she was informed by the Russian Embassy in the U.S. that Alexander Darchiev, the Russian ambassador to the U.S., will be “hand delivering” the USSR government’s findings on Kennedy’s killer to her office in the form of a 350-page document.
My office just received word from the @RusEmbUSA that the ambassador from Russia to the United States will be hand delivering the @GovernmentRF’s findings on who assassinated JFK to my office.
This is a 350 page document.
We will be uploading these documents as soon as we…

Luna noted that this same move was attempted back in the 1990’s.
“It is important to note that Congress attempted to obtain these files in the 90’s and was denied,” Luna wrote. “We have been given access to them now for the first time in history.”
Neither Luna or the Trump administration has commented further on the pending findings at the time of publication.
However, Luna, who serves as the chairwoman of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, has been leading the charge to have more public transparency surrounding the JFK assassination.
Luna claimed in March that “the reason that you have such an array of theories” about the 35th president’s assassination is because “the government was not transparent” about it.
In early January, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to declassify more of the assassination files of JFK, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr.
The Trump administration released more than 60,000 pages of previously classified JFK assassination files on March 18.
“I applaud President Trump for following through on his promise of transparency to the American people,” Luna said in a statement at the time of the release.
“By investigating the newly released JFK files, consulting experts, and tracking down surviving staff of various investigative committees, my task force will get to the bottom of this mystery and share our findings with the American people.”
Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas on Nov. 22, 1963.
However, the majority of Americans still do not believe accused JFK killer Lee Harvey Oswald worked alone, according to a Gallup poll released in November 2023.
